Hughie Finishes his Dad!

Everything about this location change is a welcome shift for The Boys season 4, which so far has stuck to the grimy and gray streets of New York. It's all still pretty grim - the upstate farm is covered in snow and as gray as it gets - but it allows the series to stretch its legs and get a little freaky with it. So who is matching The Boys' freak? A gang of man-eating sheep and tentacle-having chickens. After being dosed with V by Neuman's lab tech, things have gone very wrong at the farm and Butcher and the gang must fight off the bloodthirsty animals to make it out alive. It's one of the more outlandish sequences this season, and it just shows that The Boys doesn't need to try too hard to be freaky and fun. Sometimes, flying sheep with razor sharp teeth is all you need.

This episode really got to me. Simon Pegg’s performance as Hughie’s dad reminded me so much of my own dad. Someone who is inherently kind, compassionate, sincere, gentle, loving and emotional. He was the last person in the whole entire show to deserve such a fate

The writing this season is beyond cringe. Frenchies 360 out of nowhere, killer roosters and lambs, the corny on the nose dem/rep civil war, homelanders corny nice kid now bad kid, the silly asian girl suddenly going all karate kid on the director, it just goes on and on…

Frenchie's turning himself in for his sins is perfectly in line with his character. I don't really see a problem with animals on compound V or the human vs supe war. Ryan has been a pretty well written character because of his dynamics and decision making when it correlates to Butcher and Homelander. The asian girl slapping Adam Bourke was an order by Ryan because either she was scared, or she genuinely wanted to give Adam Bourke what he deserved
