I just had my first appointment with you last week and I was very relieved to learn of your holistic medical approach to my issues! Your non-judgmental attitude and extreme attention to detail made me feel not only comfortable, but very hopeful at tackling my sexual health problems. I’ve been searching for years for such a doctor as you. Thank you, Dr. Gronski! I look forward to the next appointment.
You made me feel so much more safe and I am making an appt locally since I hit like 95 percent of the concerns you addressed. Thank you for your confidence boost. I appreciate you!
Hi Susie. I'm in the UK and erectile dysfunction is an uninvited aspect of my recent life. I found your video encouraging in the sense that there is hope out there. I'm not too sure how much help I can get here in England but your enthusiasm and genuine care and interest to be able to help people like me that suffer in silence is very reassuring. Even watching your video has gone some way to restoring my faith that a sensitive subject can be discussed and hopefully brought back to some kind of normality. I thank you.
I had a "Rezum" procedure done 13 months ago. It left me in pain with constant prostatitis. This past week, I saw a specialist who told me that he had never seen my situation before, post cystoscopy. The procedure last year caused abscesses in my prostate which has caused a whole host of related issues. I am on specialist #3. Hopefully, this one will give me some relief. I found this video helpful as one of the specialists mentioned PFPT, but that has not happened due to the other issues. Thank you for all of the videos and for trying to help those of us who are suffering in silence.
Thanks Dr. Susie! This video was very informative and helps alleviate some of the anxiety of an in person session. And it is also encouraging in the respect that you may be able to offer relief/resolution of concerns traditional medical professionals don't want to address.
I just finished up 16 weeks of pelvic floor therapy. Wow what an eye opener and it was a awesome to learn so much about my self. Watching Dr Gronski videos has helped me learn and open up about my sexuality. I’m very blessed to have had a great physical therapist. It also helped me to open up so freely to talk to my wife about anything about sex or more. My wife is a RN she even learned some things. Guys or Gail’s if you have anything going on down there. Go see PFPT. Keep up the great work Dr.
For YeARS I've been in debilitating PAIN, And it's ALL Kinds, Sharp, dull, aches, shooing, etc etc... And in All places, perineum, Penis, testes, after ejaculation, lower bladder etc And it's ONLY cuz of YOU, that I seekd Out a Male Pelvic Therapist (after my Urologist said it was the ONLY thing they can recommend after diagnosing me with Non bacterial Prostatitis with Pelvic Pain, So BIG THANKS!!!!!
Thanks for the comprehensive video. It fully explains what to expect when being assessed and examined. I have several symptoms that you have outlined so I’m probably a good candidate for pelvic floor therapy. Here’s my issue - I am a sexual abuse survivor and whenever facing an intimate medical examination, I feel re-victimized. It is really hampering my capacity to seek care.
Thanks Doc! Your explanations are amazing. I wish I was a little closer to you so I could come in for a consultation. I will most likely sign up for an online consult, or better yet, come see you personally. I have seen a local therapist and was very disappointed with the initial examination and the subsequent treatments. I tried to keep an open mind, but it was obvious that she wasn't comfortable with our professional relationship. Thank your for being straightforward and open. You are appreciated. I have probably seen all of your UA-cam videos and will continue to watch. I will be in the Asheville area in a few months and when I find the exact time, I will hopefully be able to make an appointment with you. Thanks again for all you do!
You are a very warm professional PT and I would not have any trouble with a full examination including being totally nude on the table. My first appointment is on the 11/30 and I have a great insurers. I wish I had these videos when I was younger. The pelvic floor has so much significance with the bodies anatomy and physiology and knowing this or being treated would have added to my quality of life, 20 years ago. ED, irritable bowel syndrome, urinary tract infections etc. This is an important part of everyone's life. Thank you for doing this and all the videos you do. I really enjoy your stuffed animals that you use when you talk.
I wish you were my PT, I've been to all the corners of my valley and I've not found someone that's open to understand what I'm feeling . Just a little about me 2 left inguinal repair, 2 lower back surgery, vasectomy, pee and poop problems and all the sexual dysfunction problems you mentioned.
Excellent video, very informative! I have been having PFPT for several years now on and off and I have not had an exam as thorough and as in depth as you shared.Thank you so very much for sharing this Dr. Susie! Is it feasible for one to travel 6 hrs for a consultation/exam and follow up?
It seems like pain in the penis can be caused by a high and tight circumcision that leave the shaft skin and the frenulum area really tight during erections.
I’m a bit past hope, haha. Older, single (divorced) for too long. Unused. Bladder cancer survivor (without having to have any major changes). Off and on pelvic bone pain bursitis, a grower not shower that w/o use is mostly neither anymore…. It’s ok, it’s part of life stages… but your talk was interesting and fun. Didn’t know such practitioners existed.
sorry to say that there is no way I could even consider this. I would seriously loose my mind. I have several of the issues she mentions and it would be nice to get full function back and be free from that golf ball feeling. that being said, I'm thinking maybe if this is the cure... maybe its not so bad after all
In cases such as phimosis (tight foreskin makes it difficult to pull it back over the head of the penis) and paraphimosis (where the foreskin is tight underneath head of penis and causing constriction around the head). This may include you just directly stating that there are no issues with retracting the foreskin. If the glans (head of penis) needs to be assessed, you would be asked to retract the foreskin and this could also be a way to observe foreskin mobility.
I have just learned about pelvic floor dysfunction. Have always thought it was prostate issues before. I have all the symptoms of prostate issues except ED. Also have pain that is consistent with gluteal and pineal inflammation. What do you think?
In general, when it comes to any of these exams or therapy sessions, is there some special protocol or etiquette patients should follow? For example, do these therapists secretly wish patients had fasted for three days beforehand and or cleanse themselves internally before coming to visit? On the one hand, I can see how sufferers might want this kind of help. But on the other, I don’t think I could ever engage in this kind of work myself. To me, providing any kind of service like is would be very off putting.
Sometimes there are conditions like Peyronie's Disease, Lichens Sclerosis, Phimosis, or other scar/adhesions that can impact penile tissue health and function. There are a couple of ways that one could assess tissue health, mobility, and function: 1) information gathered from your history and asking specific questions related to penile appearance and function 2) as a patient, you can show your therapist where your concerns are if they are related to the penis and or neighboring areas 3) direct assessment of the tissue by the healthcare provider which may include touch to the body or glans of the penis. Most often it is a combination of all three that may occur during an exam.
Hello, My interest is learning more about my body function interest. I watch your video and learning more about myself, still needs to learn more about myself in the understanding my body functioning. How do I get intouch of you for more help? Your information is helpful & thank you. Gerry M.
Dr. Susie Gronski.... Where do I get more information from you? I am still need to learn know more about myself. Your teaching easy to follow which it is helping me understand my self. I hope I can get more information regarding my health issues with you. Contract can be made by e mail or by phone call and thank you. Well, l learned something new. Thanks. I do have some of the problems but when I look for a therapist in my area all that shows up is ob gyn. I'll my doctor since she knows about my erection and no ejaculation.
My therapist gave me a standup exercise that requires to work the pelvic floor. It requires to flex and hold the rectum for seconds at a time, then the pubis muscles and penis. It's very technical and confusing but she won't check if I'm doing it right?? How would you assess this? I think this may be a modesty issue for her 🤔

I have had major issues after having prostate cancer radiation therapy over a year ago.
Great video resources Dr Susie! Thanks for this!

I wish someone would explain how to get rid of chronic Epididymitis pain. nonbacterial , non std , with a vasectomy.
That's very nice Doc, thanks for the information.

Hi Susie, what do you mean by “addressing genital tissue mobility and erectile tissue mobility“, and how is this done in an exam?
Sometimes there are conditions like Peyronie's Disease, Lichens Sclerosis, Phimosis, or other scar/adhesions that can impact penile tissue health and function.
There are a couple of ways that one could assess tissue health, mobility, and function:
1) information gathered from your history and asking specific questions related to penile appearance and function

Are u licensed for Ontario, Canada??? Just curious
No, I am not but I do consult with folks all over the world.
My therapist gave me a standup exercise that requires to work the pelvic floor. It requires to flex and hold the rectum for seconds at a time, then the pubis muscles and penis. It's very technical and confusing but she won't check if I'm doing it right?? How would you assess this? I think this may be a modesty issue for her 🤔
yiou want to know too much.
So some guys must have a 3” erect penis and some guys must have 7” right?
A very interesting walk through. But can't you say men instead of penis owners.
I find it degrading to be reduced to a penis owner.
It’s not meant to be demeaning. You sound very sensitive and you need to toughen up and stop taking yourself so seriously
Hmm, I guess in today’s world, not every penis owner is technically a man anymore. Am I right? 🫤
What sex life? 😢
