Yeah I feel for her. I grew up not eating seafood, so I have a bit of a taste aversion to anything fishy. This food all looks really good, and the preparation is really cool, but the inevitable fishy taste would definitely be off-putting for me.

This reminds me of when I was a kid and our county celebrated Western Week. This was in the 70s and our town had a Naval Air Station, at the time so Western Week kind of turned into an international mix since the Navy brought so many cultures to the mix. It was the first time I met someone from Japan. He was an older man competing with me in the Texas Chili Cookoff while his two sons and daughter ran a Japanese street food kiosk. They were the sweetest folks and they introduced me to a lot of wonderful food as well as their language. The food was the talk of the fair and it was just incredible how my father and that man got along. Both of them were WW-2 vets from opposite sides so at 10 years old I got an education. Sorry... Didn't mean to get so far into this memory. Just a wonderful moment in my kid life.
I will now forever be calling it the "chicken sink" 😂😁
I’m surprised they didn’t try Taiyaki, the fish-shaped pastry, or Mitarashi Dango, which is often shown in anime and manga.
From the thumbnail, I mistook the takoyaki for dango.

I say try Navajo or Tribal Native American food, frybread, Indian (Navajo) Taco, or food serve on reservation or Pow Wows.
In Hawaii they do chocolate pineapple too both frozen :)
If this hasn’t already been done, please try some famous Scottish foods - haggis, neeps & tatties, Scottish porridge, full Scottish breakfast (including black pudding and square sausage), cranachan dessert, Cullen skink soup and the candy called tablet! 👌🏼🏴

It's funny that they've never heard of a frozen chocolate covered banana before, because I'm Asian and the first place I ever saw a chocolate covered banana was at Disneyworld in Florida. It was amazing!
