Great conclusion Ken! I think with reviews like these we're becoming more aware which drone is perfect for each kind of user! More power to this channel!
Es tu canal brother y haces con el lo que te da la gana, es bueno escuchar y ver lo que haces y como nos muestras tu punto de vista , que se vayan al carajo lo que piensen los demás, Gracias por lo que haces 🔥🔥🔥💪🏻
Very good Ken. I’m definitely interested in this drone. The battery life is a huge selling point for me. I’m a quadriplegic and use a wheelchair with the original smart controller mounted to it. I’ll certainly be contacting you at some point in the new year to see if Lifthor comes out with a new tripod mount for the new Smart Controller. I wish that DJI had incorporated a 1/4 20 mount into the Controller. But either way I’ll rig something up.
Gotta love your channel. Never change the way you present your channel. If people are offended, they can go elsewhere. No one is forcing them to watch your channel. Keep up the good work on your channel.
I appreciate your authenticity about who you are, and how you present what you present. So many of these channels lack authenticity, and it’s TANGIBLE! Keep up the good work😀
I absolutely LOVE my Mavic 3, BUT there is one thing I don't like about the RC Pro - it does NOT have a microphone as the Original Smart Controller does. I often used that to narrate some of my flights on the Mavic 2 Pro. The audio from that microphone was added to the cache videos, which I was able to download, and sync that narration to the high quality video from the SD Card. I have to resort to the regular controller, and my Tripltek 8 pro in order to do that with the Mavic 3. The Tripltek has a wonderful screen recorder, so it will record everything you are seeing on the screen as well as the audio from my narration. By the way, Your minimal mount for the Tripltek 8 Pro works wonderfully with the original Mavic 3 controller (thank you for designing and selling these). Keep it original, my friend.
Very glad your M3 is safe and was not destroyed when it fell. This means it is quite robust and this s very good news, Ken. Thank you for taking the time to inform us. All the best.
Awesome 👏 Video I’m just getting into the Videography Profession, Your Content is off the Chain 😆Language is Spot on. The Drone Looks Amazing and I was Contemplating the DJI Pro 2 for my first Drone but this Drone hit’s all of the Features I would have at my Deposal and wouldn’t have to Upgrade. Keep up the Good Work and Content 😎😎😎
A small benefit of USB and SD card being in the same place is that you don't have to look under all the rubber flaps on the sides of the drone to get to the SD card port. I could never remember on which side the card was on my M2P and always had to pull one flap at a time until I got to the right one.
Great review brother 👌🏻perfect . Yes I agree it’s not as robust but it it does shoot outstanding footage. That’s what counts. Bravo Kenny boy. 👏lol! Crouch guard 😂😂😂
Finally someone says it the way it is. I too got the Mavic 3 Cinema. I analyzed the frequencies and I will state on the record under penalty of perjury, the same frequencies are exactly the same as the air2s and its oem controller. The only difference for longer range is that they used more omni directional antennas on the unit. As for modulation, they increase the power output. Still within the range of the FCC and FAA. It works exactly the same. The reason why the Air2s dropped out shorter was the placement of the antenna and the size. I fixed that by piggyback of the first pairs FL/FR to the rear. Which gives you much better coverage. Ocusync 2.0 and the alledge 3.0 are just soft cap in the apt firmware pushed onto the unit. For them to force DJI smart controllers out of production due to it not being compatible is completely false. All we need to do, run Wireshark and pull any firmware reverse engineer. Slight hardware differences but shouldn't be that hard to compile against the old CPU and clean it up.
I had the same issue with the slow charging on the first battery, then I noticed that one cable was beefier than the other, and figured that one was a data cable and the smaller one might be a fast charging cable. Possibly a wrong deduction but with the correct result as the lights starting flashing far faster along with a much faster charge. I couldn't decide whether to get the RC Pro, or the Tripltek 8 and now both are out of stock so I won't have either for a while, but I did order your Tripltek mount before it goes out of stock... as I will now have to use my Note 20 and will get used to the RC-N1
Great review, really will be interesting to see if your opinion changes when the final software hits in January, overall very notable points made, job well done...
I have a question for you about the mavic 3 v the evo 2 pro. Now I've seen comparisons of image quality and the evo 2 has the edge as sharpness and the noise is less. But my issue is that the mavic 3 might get better with the firmware update making it better by a margin than the evo 2. Ok having said that what about the future proof factor!!! At this price point why would a person buy this when the evo 2 is so close to it but I was expecting a little more than a close call. Anyways a good drone without a doubt but will it be future proof for at least 2yrs as the mavic 2 was? But I am asking you because you are brutally honest and I respect you for that. For the cost of this drone $3000 is it as future proof as the mavic 2 or am I just being too critical of the drone. Here's my opinion even if they dropped the price $1000 dollars I think as future proof goes this particular drone is more on the line of a top of the line cellular phone than a drone. Meaning that only for about a year this is going to be a top technical level drone. Unlike the mavic 2 which was considered number 1 for about 2 solid years. Please if you would state your opinion about this issue and even make a video to answer if you are uncomfortable answering me directly or think it's an answer that may too long for a simple reply.
Do you know if there is a difference between the battery charger of the cine version compared to the fly more package? The reason I asked is that I finally read some of the documentation for the Mavic 3 and RC Pro I just received today. Then I got a magnifying glass and read the outputs of the charger. The M3 batteries call for a charging voltage of 17 to 20 volts. The RC Pro calls for a charging voltage of 12 to 17 volts. The charger has two outputs and one appears to be 5V or 12V, and the other 5V or 20V, but one is USB A connector and the other is hardwired. The manual refers to both as USB C which is what is at the other end of both cords. So which is which? As far as I can tell, the only reason for the 5V is that the normal output for USB is 5V for most all USB uses. I don't know what the RC-N1 uses as I have not looked, but I suspect it is more than 5V. They could have made this easier for all to use just by applying a label to the two outputs as M3 battery, and Control. (We both figured it out before, but my memory sucks, so I will have to do it again when I have some low batteries.)
Did you say you were getting disconnects at 500 ft with the RC Pro controller? Thank you for mentioning that. I am unable to fly beyond about 500 ft also. I get disconnects all the time when flying not too far away. I think there is a major issue with the Pro controller. Hopefully there will be another software update soon. The update the other day fixed some of the disconnects, but not all of them. I recommend always setting RTH in case of disconnects for the time being.
Do you think DJI will eventually make a new controller for mavic 3 since the current controller is ocusync 2.0. Dji really needs to make a controller that supports ocusync 3+ and don’t need to pay over 1000 bucks.
Hey Ken - Very funny (that thumbnail 🤣) and frank review! While in Hawaii, did you happen fly close to the water's surface? I'm wondering how much the bottom sensors have improved since the M2P/Z models.
Hi, thanks a lot for sharing. I updated to the latest frameware, and I know that some features are still not available. But I’m not even able to switch to 4k 120, I can only see 4k 60. I’m wondering if you have the same issue, or is it just me? Best
LUTs in the app during D-log filming might be my top feature request. A standard LUT would certainly help dial in exposure, though having the ability to upload a project LUT to help nail a look during filming would be fantastic. As a “consumer” category drone however, I wonder how many of these pro value-adds they will actually incorporate. Beyond that, the M3 flies great out of the box with very precise handling even in sport mode with a little practice. The main camera outputs very usable footage for many types of projects, and if you can produce finished films from H.265 footage, and prefer flying manual, then there’s no reason to hesitate on this purchase. Great drone. The thing I’m not certain about is the ProRes workflow in the Cine version. It’s kinda cool they’ve added the option, but it’s not clear yet, either how much footage you can get onto the internal SSD, or how long it would take to offload, reformat, and get the M3C back into the air. And when you’re under the gun for nailing a golden hour or blue hour shot, there isn’t time to waste. A 30 or 40 minute offload would mean having 2 M3Cs to get the job done, and at that point a good used Inspire 2 with ProRes, starts to look like a viable budget option.
Great review ken. Looks like u had an awesome time. You are so honest. I love it. Ken , bourght adapters for my dji fpv. I put ethix s5 props? Im looking for speed any suggestions and again thanks and glad ur back safe brother
Yet another original (and honest) review from you. Massive thumbs up and I'll be buying one in January. Thanks Ken. BTW: The M3 looks like a Hornet from the battery angle you shot. Or maybe I've just had a few too many drinks tonight.
Thank you Ken great information 👍 I like to see where we are on tech side of improvements and upgrades. Yup half to agree wait for software to catch up....hope you had a great trip. Hawaii is absolutely the most in photography you can ask for....can't get enough.
Missed out on the DJI fly app review, coming from the DJI Go 4 to the fly app is pretty rough, lacking of options/features to customize etc, unable to disable landing protection and what not? Unless I'm missing something. Also super dissapointing to be using the same controller as the mini with one dial wheel removed and customizable buttons on the underneath, guessing thats DJI's way of pushing users to purchase the RC Pro (which I am going to do now because of that, so it worked lol)
I believe that the reason the top of the drone feels so hollow is that they left room for air to pass over the top of the battery and I’m also glad that the battery is no longer directly exposed to the sun which is why I think all of my Mavic two zoom batteries are shot now.
As always Ken. Thanks. I can’t keep pulling drones off my shelf as you can. So I’ll be skipping this one. I’ve got 5 DJI drones up to Air 2S & FPV. In my head I’m thinking will this drone give me anything I’m really missing in the drones I’ve bought since the pandemic ? The answer is NO. I’m not a pro photographer so I don’t need anymore then the Air2S. But thanks Ken.
Thanks for your honest review, I’m definitely waiting until January to see if it gets any better software. I still make lots of money with my Mavic 2 Pro but one day I’ll have to upgrade so the Mavic 3 will probably be the only option I’ll consider mainly because of those Hassleblad colors ✌🏼
This is why I watch, honest reviews with no sway! Great review, I don' trust the OA on the EVO that much either. Definitely not offended by the language! Can't wait to see the LUT you produce for this. speaking of that. You have a link for the EVO one?
Agree on flight times. Agree on bad-ass look. Love that the arms, as best I can tell are metal, at least the main length; not counting the caps or landing legs. The Wide angle lens accessory will create interesting shots at 15° Batteries do need a firm push, but spring out when releasing. Nice. Evo 2 battery puts up a battle to get out.
I lost my Mavic 2 Pro in a canopy of trees a couple years ago. Had to wait for all the leaves to fall so I could spot which tree it was in. Lots of cold weather, rain and snow. Found the drone, cut down the tree. The drone fired right up after drying overnight. I was flying the next day. DJI makes some tough drones.
My complaint is the excessive braking even at low speeds. Does that bother you or do you even notice? I like smooth in my hands operation... you know It does what I hate in the EVO II Pro... like a bucking bronco
Ken I've had mine for less time but I agreed with almost everything you've said. Questions: Did you notice any sharpness improvements in video if you stopped down a little from f2.8? Are you using the AEB and if yes what's your opinion on quality there? I agree the rates and expos out of the box are great. Did you feel the need to tweak any of them? Cheers and great initial video.
Yeah I love that air vent cup right on the top in case you get caught in the rain just to make sure the water gets directed straight into the drone. 🙄😒🤔😔
My poor virgin ears! I'm still on the fence about getting one, my M2 fits the bill pretty well. But you know how bills always tend to grow over time... I'll keep my eyes peeled (the bell still rings) for more vids from you on this drone. You have the right way of portraying the most realistic views on em, sort of... Original
Your use to the battery on the top so that hollow feel may be why it didn’t feel as robust. M3 takes it in the rear 😳
You win comments of the day 😂
@@OriginaldoBo I’ll quit while I’m ahead… 😆
Lol
Best review and thumbnail of the mavic 3on youtube, you kill me bro. Keep on keepin it real!
Oh, that footage of flying through the clouds, then over the waves with the black rocks was breathtaking. Actually brought tears to my eyes.
Great conclusion Ken! I think with reviews like these we're becoming more aware which drone is perfect for each kind of user! More power to this channel!
Wow, that is a stunning shot! 18:06

Funny, honest, unfiltered, informative, visually arresting footage. Excellent review. Don’t ever change. Stay original, man.
great use of "Bad to the Bone" always good to hear George
Yes! I can't wait for the Mavic 3 updates! Thanks for the unbiased review!
The orange just has me mesmerized, and I'm only 4 minutes in.
You have an orange bias
Hey ken great video ! Amazing review and video

Man, that intro, that's one of my favorite songs.
I been waiting for your review glad your back
The way you present your content and your honesty is what keeps me coming back. Great work keep it up.

That's a shame, Dean. 😕
Great video as always. Gotta love the intro. This video is for us adults. Not for children. 😂. That was awesome. Thanks for sharing buddy.
Just so transparent and awesome review. Thanks Ken! Love you my drone flying brother. I guess it's time to say goodbye to my Mavic 2 Pro fleet.
Brilliant beginning music, I can’t unsee Terminator 2… brilliant content 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️💙💙
That is the most disturbing, yet hilarious thumbnail! Looking forward to the next video on the M3....keep up the great work Ken.
Been waiting for this before I buy it….almost hit the button on purchasing it
My Brother I have been watching you for years and I truly say I love you unbiase opinion, because you help me make smart decisions.
First air2 s army out
Air2s army!
Just want to Say YOUR BLOODY BRILLIANT, love the opening 😂😂😂
Classic doBo right here! 😎 Muy bueno Ken!
Very glad your M3 is safe and was not destroyed when it fell. This means it is quite robust and this s very good news, Ken. Thank you for taking the time to inform us. All the best.
Say it as it is ..honesty is the best review for consumer .
Great review Ken, I can always count on your honest review. Thanks for all you do for the community.
I got my Cine a few days ago - you are right - camera on this drone is amazing - and it is a great flyer. Wow
Love the opening! Snowflakes be warned 😂
Figure we get that out of the way early on 😂
Fantastic Information DOBO!
Happy Flying!
Does that gimbal cover come with a whip? Great review!! Going to check out 808's new Mavic.
Ah man! I just recently found you on UA-cam and I’m so glad I did 😂 keep the content coming!
Thanks man! Appreciate ya
No problem! Just keep the drone content coming and the comedy as well 👍🏽
The "warning adult content ahead" disclaimer is good stuff!

You are the best dude…….you tell it like you SEE IT
Honest opinion Ken , is the cine worth the extra money over the flymore combo and have the M2P and Air2s would you trade both of them for the Mavic 3
A small benefit of USB and SD card being in the same place is that you don't have to look under all the rubber flaps on the sides of the drone to get to the SD card port. I could never remember on which side the card was on my M2P and always had to pull one flap at a time until I got to the right one.
I took a sharpie and made a dot on the correct port. Yeah, it used to drive me nuts before I marked it.
Great review brother 👌🏻perfect . Yes I agree it’s not as robust but it it does shoot outstanding footage. That’s what counts. Bravo Kenny boy. 👏lol! Crouch guard 😂😂😂
Thanks Bo. Like the no nonsense straight up review!

Ken, Excellent review. Looking forward to many more after the January updates. I’m enjoying flying my Mavic 3.
Yes love that mean look on the Mavic 3 too. It’s meant to perform and deliver!
I like how there is still dirt from the crash. Looks like battle scars that look cool
I just leave it there hahah
Great review Ken and some incredible images.
A great review spot on. Can't wait for the updates in January. Which do you prefer the RC pro or the tripltech setup?
It's a camera jock strap
Great review, really will be interesting to see if your opinion changes when the final software hits in January, overall very notable points made, job well done...

Ken you killing me with the thumbnail 🤣 😂 great review though.
Great video Ken.!!
Great review again!!
If it’s already awesome, why not just buy it and then enjoy the January mastering upgrades?
Cool, informative video - thanks … and subscribed!
Best Review by far
Remember to mention in the post when you go to sell it that it was crashed , when you go to sell.
I don’t sell my shit I don’t need the money like that I keep them all of them
The GIMP mask is hilarious - Gimbel, Impact, Mess, Protection mask :D
You get me
Do you think DJI will eventually make a new controller for mavic 3 since the current controller is ocusync 2.0. Dji really needs to make a controller that supports ocusync 3+ and don’t need to pay over 1000 bucks.
Probably the best intro of all time 🤣
Hey Ken - Very funny (that thumbnail 🤣) and frank review! While in Hawaii, did you happen fly close to the water's surface?
I'm wondering how much the bottom sensors have improved since the M2P/Z models.
Yes they pick up the water quite well actually

I’m still using my Air 2S for real estate only because it’s unlocked. For all my photos found F5 to be the sharpest however
Great Straight Out Review Ken....
Yeah I love that air vent cup right on the top in case you get caught in the rain just to make sure the water gets directed straight into the drone. 🙄😒🤔😔
Hey Ken, the night shot was beautiful, I definitely think a lot of M3 owners would benefit from a night flight and post editing video from you ;-)
My poor virgin ears!
I'm still on the fence about getting one, my M2 fits the bill pretty well. But you know how bills always tend to grow over time...
I'll keep my eyes peeled (the bell still rings) for more vids from you on this drone. You have the right way of portraying the most realistic views on em, sort of... Original
