46:30 the bat cannot take damage while in the shadows so couldn't be killed by the Waywatcher - not that it makes any difference as you had spare actions in the next round that should easily have killed it.
Thank you, like you said there are not many videos on this game. I just got my copy yesterday. I played it once years ago and forgot about it. Then I saw your video last week. Did the tutorial last night, enjoyed that it is not overly complicated. Great art work, play mechanisms similar to fantasy flights other game, The Witcher adventure game. I call these popcorn games, fun to play, not complicated/heavy strategy, not too long. Great vids, thanks again.
I like that game!! This is certainly a popcorn game and those are some of my favorite! Thanks so much for watching and commenting and good luck on your adventures!!
I really enjoyed watching and am eagerly looking forward to the last two chapters. As to choices for upgrades I always find it hard deciding which to do first, I would probably go with the "ready actions" card so: Warrior Priest - Rest, Troll Slayer - Explore, Ironbreaker - Aid and Waywatcher - Aid (this is harder to choose because you've already upgraded their ready actions card but I generally favour Aid over Rest).
Thanks for your playthrough! It looks amazing. I’m leaning towards voting for the Ready action. The WP is Rest, the TS is Explorer, the IB is Aid, and the WW’s Ready action is already upgraded. So, I’m going to choose Aid. Thank you!
Great video. Such a fun game. I bring it out occasionally and always have a blast. I'm lucky to have both hero expansion packs - the Witch Hunter is my favorite hero in the game.
Awesome. 13:33 - Haha you counted a 2 success die for just 1 success and then you needed exactly that missed success to finish the Giant Wolf. 1:16:20 - This was an epic attack. Truly a Daemon Slayer. Can't wait for the last two quests. Too bad the campaign is only 5 quest (from the 6 quest overall). Even worst there were no expansions. But still it's a great game. I find the hero's abilities here much more fleshed-out than those in Heroes of Terrinoth. Also in HoT the quests are 8 which is a bit better but not a whole lot. Lets hope Dragonbond Quest will give us more quantity without cutting on the quality of gameplay.
Hey there Colin! What good fun to watch. You almost make me want to chase after the game again... But then 2 things tell me not to: one, I remember this game took forever to setup due to so many card piles to separate, ha ha ha! (Maybe I'm too lazy?) Second and more interesting, the Sadlers have hinted they are soon launching a new game as the 3rd iteration of this system and I am very curious how it's evolved; so I may go for that instead... Thanks my friend... :) :) As for the votes: - Warrior Priest: I prefer the aid... but it's a hard choice. - Trollslayer: Honorable Death, no discussion needed? :) - Iron Breaker: Gromril Bulwark (exhausting enemies is pretty sweet!) - Way Watcher (she's my favorite): Hail of arrows seems to efficient damage wise to pass, doesn't it? Even if I'm pretty sure you are not going to use either of these actions a lot. ;) Looking forward to our next adventure!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Lemme see...that was about 28:13 . The roll takes out Odious Grump, but the attack card of the Troll Slayer clearly says that you heal for the attack value of all enemies you kill, so he should have healed for 2.
I didn’t temember that the 2 additionnal heroes don’t have the same card size and card stock as the originals. This game got in a weird spot because the license expired so close to release…

I’ve got this game and haven’t played it in a while. Now I want to play it again. Great video, good sir!

Yes the new game looks cool in excited for it!! Thank you for the suggestions on upgrades!!
When killing Odious, you forgot to heal the Troll Slayer for 2.
Thanks for that do you remember wren that happened so I can make a note? Thanks!

@hannahmonteiro9229 thanks!!!
One big problem with the game is SPOILERS if you beat scenario 3, scenarios 4 and 5 are a cake walk. If you don't?! Oh boy, be ready for some pain!
Oh really??? I've never played scenario 4 and 5 so excited to see if I agree with you!! Thanks so much for watching!!

Yup... such a bummer it would have been so easily expandable! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
1:19:41 Shouldn't that card be called "Vengeful Sprites"? Vengeful Spites does not make much sense.
I think vengeful sprites is cooler hahaha!!!! You are right in sure 😀
subtitles in other languages cannot be seen.
It's only klingon for errors!
