Had this been show in the horseshoe or in the middle of the two, then we could call it a real battle, but since that's not the case and JSU was CLEARLY more precise and more powerful, JSU takes the W.

just watching this video, and I like both bands but my un-biased opinion Jackson State took this one... just based off the simple fact of the Canada man himself.... the power and dynamics from Jackson at a distance is soul stirring while of coarse alcorn would sound stronger he is closer to there band all in all Good job to both organizations
if you were sitting on top of the Boom, you could hear SOD sound bouncing back as well....both bands are going hard and the camera angle does this video no justice....in order to get an accurate assessment, you will have to sit in the "U"....but if it came down to me choosing.... its always SOD....

People love to harp on how good an individual section of their band sounds versus how the opposing band's section sounds, as if the t-bone section or the bass section, ALONE, makes the whole band. Band is a team effort, so totality is what matters. So, please quit majoring in minors to gain an advantage. Ya'll reaching. Reaching evidences desperation and an inability to accept defeat. It's called being a BAD SPORT. Alcorn murks this song annually, which is what everybody, with the exception of a segment of JSU people, think ......namely the ones who troll all our videos (while we pay their's no attention).
