Thanks for the comment. You are kind of missing the point. We are demonstrating Structural repairs using Strucsol wires and resin. Rebuilding the brickwork would not create a structural lintel repair that could be warranted and insured . The wire and resin solution is an Engineered solution providing a structurally guaranteed repair, acceptable to insurers and mortgage providers. Rebuilding the brickwork does not do this. The wire lintel uses approx £60.00 worth of material and took 20 mins in total. I am certain the alternative would cost more. Take longer, and not offer an insured solution.
The company was founded by a bricklayer, who moved with the times and found Better, quicker , cleaner , safer Engineered solutions, to providing retrofitted tensile strength in Masonry. The answer would be he would do the job properly and improve the tensile strength of the brickwork above the window opening. That was originally supported by a load bearing timber window frame and was now failing due to the installation of a Non load bearing UPVC frame by retro fitting an Engineered Strucsol wire lintel .@@mrt8694
I have a horizontal crack above a steel lintel 2.4m wide opening. Mortar has come away above the third course up over the lintel. Would this be a suitable repair in this instance? It's a very small crack around 1mm this looks just what I need
Looks ok but it’s a flat roof why not take down the outside corses and re build fill the frogs those London bricks are poor.

If a bricklayer lived in the house what would he do
