0:01 - "okay guys so we're just going for a quiet, sorrowful ballad here."
2:15 - "Y'know what? Screw it, let's wake these fuckers up in 3....2....1...."
2:16 - *all hell breaks loose*
plug in the headphones and crank it, it straight demolishes the album version and its one of the best live versions of a song I've heard
4:14 whenever i see him play this part of the song like that, it helps me get so much pain, self hatred, anxiety and frustration out. this song is so cathartic
When I saw this live I decided it was the best live performance Ive ever seen for any band ever hands down and seeing it again on audiotree reminded me exactly why
I said the same exact thing! Saw them open for bayside here in San Diego and they finished with this.
It's up there for me, but not my personal best live show I've seen. Thing is I've seen some of QOTSA, Arcade Fire and TooLs best live shows so it's got very strong contenders to be my personal favourite live show lol.
This song was the best live performance I've ever seen
I love the tone Adam gets out of his guitar. So raw and soulful. The pure intensity and emotion that Sorority Noise is able to jam pack into their songs, especially when they play live is unbelievable. Gives me chills every time I witness it. Emo rock at its finest.
… why hasn’t there been a comment in almost a year this is one of my favorite live performances on UA-cam
I come back to this video because the emotion of the band is something beyond compare, very few songs have this kind of punch. One of the best live performances ever recorded
i honestly love how the intro has an almost radiohead-like progression and then it switches to a much heavier, distorted breakdown. So dope.
2:24 feel the energy
when the lead guitarist let his guitar feedback at the end and let it on the ground, absolute legend
I would say Adam is more lead than cam but totally agree
@@thepackardconspiracynj9913 that's who they're talking about @4:56
I saw Sorority Noise about two weeks ago and this was just absolutely incredible
Immediately added to my "best live sessions" playlist.
Can't wait for the day I see these guys live
that was effin' awesome. new favorite band.
they r amazing !
the rawest shit ive seen live
Wow that was impressive.
This song gets me through so much shit
Holy shit that was amazing
So sick when they close with this song live
Not quite the best band I've ever seen live (Brand New and Moose Blood take that honour) but definitely the best support slot I ever saw was when they layed with MoBo at Camden Electric Ballroom. Currently waiting for the ticket link to go live to see them again in October.
Impressive 🤟🏼
Holy shit
What the hell did I just watch
It was amazing
i left my computer with headphones still connected to get food and I didn't realize they let the feed back do all the work towards the end
Does their vocalist also play in "Old grey"?
+Niko Niko yeah, same guy. His name is Cameron Boucher.
+Niko Niko old grey and sorority noise are basically the same band, they just play different styles of music.
Cam's strumming reminds me of early Green Day shows when Billie would punch the shit out of his guitar
its been bothering me forever, what is that thing that the guitarist is using at the beginning of the song???
The singer or the lead guitarist? Also what thing would you be referring to haha?
NVM. I think I know what your talking about now.
It's Called an E-Bow.
Noah Livingston oh my god, thank you
Noah Livingston thank you dude, suddenly I remembered this intro and tried to find what device they were using
Does anyone know what he's holding against his pickup at 1:45?
Pretty sure it's an e bow
christ on a cross
CYMBALS?
