Mario Kart is arguably the one that inspired all of the others so, there is always the question if the copycats can surpass the original and that’s what I wanted to answer.
Team sonic racing is much better than the others!!! It feels more engaging and not so quiet like mario kart. Also the team mechanic works so well!!! And the character interactions are so good!!!

Same “Mario UA-camr”: puts Sonic above them all and below. In all fairness I understand why people love CTR (I’m one of them) and truly there’s only like two reasons why I lowered it on the list. The first being the microtransactions, while I didn’t have a problem with them myself if I’m recommending this game I have to take that into account. The second one is the match making, you continually will get disconnected from online matches and I didn’t really bring this up for future proofing (thanks Nintendo for the recent announcement/update) it’s annoying to say the least when I’m in a good match and I either get disconnected or have to find a new lobby. I even said you could switch the two on the list if the microtransactions didn’t bother you. By the way whenever the severs get shutdown I don’t have faith that Activision would allow for a patch to make the grind less tedious for the collectibles.

I've read many comments about how hard is to win all gold's in Mario Kart Wii's 150cc. I just bought the game and, having gotten the two platinum trophies on the Sonic racing games, I think I'm up to the challenge.
no matter what, I'm always sticking with mario kart wii and DS. They're the most beautiful arcade games out there, mechanically. On my PC though? All stars racing. The only reason I'm bias with mkwii and mkds is cos 1. They're the only mario kart games I got (and yes i've played MK8) 2. Mechanics. They're are a lot of tactics in MKWII and in MKDS the game is so broken that there are probably even more techniques out there. And 3. CTGPR.
ngl if mario kart 8 deluxe and ctr nitro fueled had a baby, taking the driving mechanics from ctr and the items from mk8, it would be the best kart racer of all time.
1) The micro-transactions serve as an alternative, not default, means of attaining coins. They can be completely ignored and you can still buy everything in the Pit Stop. 2) The amount of coins you earn during a race depends on whether you got first, second, third, or other place. Just leaving a race going for an hour and then finishing does not give you more coins.
@@is_that_jalen6879 No way. TSR is a good racer. Sure it doesn't have as many tracks and characters as the other two, but it still is worthwhile in other areas like its game modes, customization, and presentation.
That's one of the reasons why I decided not to rank online it would be not only unfair but outdated whenever the developers decide to strip the game of its online (of course once CTR gets a PC release and MK8D has a way to be played online without the help of Nintendo this wouldn't matter)
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was such a great and inspiring game to me, and eventually, I worked on a racing literature series called, The Ultimate Grand Prix, where 6 categorical teams of 8 compete against each other in a summer-themed championship grand prix. Those categorical teams are Disney, Mojang, Hasbro, Nintendo, Sega and Warner Bros. The literature series was entirely finished a few years ago, and all of the links are accessible on Google Docs. @@YoshKen Well, it was worth a shot. At least, I can tell you more about The Ultimate Grand Prix literature series. Team Nintendo, of course, consists of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe characters, which is why I thought my comment was worth posting here. Every one of the 6 categorical teams consists of 8 racers, whether they are characters or fans, and that results in a total of 48 racers. There is a list I could give out about what each categorical team mainly consists of. Disney: Kingdom Hearts characters Mojang: Minecraft characters/skins Hasbro: MLP G4 characters Nintendo: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe characters Sega: Sonic Riders characters Warner Bros: The Looney Tunes Show characters The capacity of 12 racers, from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, is also included, and all 6 categorical teams may have done racing before, whether it happened in TV shows, movies or video games. Plus, since there are 3 rounds, each consisting of 4 races, the total comes to 12 races. 48 racers divided by 12 racers equals 4 races times 3 rounds equals 12 races.
On PC the Frame rate isn’t limited so that would be the superior version while the others run at 60fps I believe. Also Steam has this game go on sale a lot at around 10 bucks
Watching this, I kinda just get the idea that MK is really mid compared to the others, specially with the tracks, all the tracks (judging from this video) looks really bland, almost the same with different skins
It’s a bit hard to explain in text but the flow in most of the tracks in MK8/MK8D are really good. Learning the lines you need to take all the while dodging items and using the tracks layout to your advantage can be really fun. Honestly the most bland tracks of of these game has to be TSR since they are overly big and mostly straightaways.
I liked the video,you're the only one I watched with good claims,the only thing is that I personally don't think microtransactions matter that much between 2nd and 3rd place, because you can still unlock everything without paying. And I'm glad transformed wasn't underappreciated,it's a very very good game,for me between it and ctr it's tied 1st spot 🙂
That's fair but the other reason I didn't mention in the video is whenever Activision decides to shut the servers off getting coins in that game will be a pain for the newcomer (unless they release a patch to fix that when the game gets abandoned) And the second might just be biased whether unintentional or not. (bias are I prefer Nintendo games because they rarely release bad games, and Activision I dislike due to them lying about how there going to monetize their game after release and the put them into a remake) Also, it was really hard to pick the second and third rankings (I kinda had to nitpick) Thanks man really appreciate the comment and like

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled sucks because the game will not record your online win and loss records. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Nintendo online go-kart racing game because it keeps track of your online first, second and third place wins. Plus, Team Sonic Racing and Garfield Kart: Furious Racing will not record your online win and loss records.
CTR does record your record but it’s not visible. I can see why that would upset people. One of the reasons I didn’t include online as a factor is because I didn’t want to date the video (isn’t not like it matters now thanks Nintendo).
I wouldn’t say take since it was nearly a decade between the games but I am surprised that CTR:NF didn’t include it in its remake probably because they thought it would be too similar despite them doing it first.
Sonic Riders solos all of them. Especially Sonic Riders DX. Also for some other top tier racing games. SRB2 Kart, Sonic Drift 16 Bit, Sonic Riders DX/Tournament Edition and Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed.

I do like ctr over all others (even tho I haven't played the sonic ones) cause the gameplay is infinitely better (seems to be better than sonic as well) and the mechanics are OP (drifting, u-turn, air boost, reserves). MK8 just got boring too quick for me (and it's too easy overall)
The best part of CTR is the Challenge the game has to offer personally I hate that items. They are a thing in that game because getting hit is the worst thing in the world when you're doing so well. But no other game feels so satisfying to win in.
Yeah both crash and mario are good and just because mario is is easier than crash does not mean it’s not a great game. It just comes down to preference. I personally love 8 more because I like the easier controls and I also like the item impact more. Crash still good though.
Yes, if you’re looking for what console has what’s available then yes, but if your looking for what is considered the “best game” that fact wouldn’t really matter.
A decent video, although I think if you wrote out a more thoughtful script it would be far more engaging. I notice your explanation for why something is good or bad doesn't amount to more than buzz words instead of going into core specifics. Articulation can always be improved. Seems like some wholesome content otherwise - I love these kinds of comparative lists. It's always fun to see how opinions vary from person to person. It might be a bit shallow to say, but I think for as cool as Transformed is, it's a bit homogeneous-looking. I'm with you when you say it innovates the genre in exciting ways, but it just can't beat the sheer polish and insane attention to detail in MK8 and CTR - and the mechanics in both those games make them pretty competitive too.
CTR especially has amazing mechanics and the sense of speed in that game makes it a joy to play. Next time I will look into diversifying my vocabulary in the script so it doesn’t sound like I’m only using buzz words and try and relate them more to the core mechanics of the game. I agree with this video almost entirely. Just switch MK8/MK8D and CTR:NF and this video is perfect. So #4 TSR, #3 MK8/MK8D, #2 CTR:NF and #1 both S&SASR/S&ASRT. I REALLY wish TSR was the third in the S&SASR series as well. Stay healthy everybody. Cheers! 🤙🏽
you say you dont get hit with blue shells as often. You dont have my luck. i can get three alibis to state that ive been hit with at least 3 blue shells a race, out of 4 that by the end i couldnt count on both hands how many i was hit with in the whole prix.
Srb2 Kart is a fan game that's technically a mod of a fan game, but from what I hear it places a lot of emphasis on skill-based gameplay, and it's also very mod-friendly and customizable.

I love Sonic despite of... well... "HISTORY" and Crash Bandicoot. I’m not much of a Mario fan. I like these games for separate reasons. MK8 and CTR have the best and well designed tracks and large character roster and variety. TSR has the best music and its nots surprising because all or most of his games have soundtracks that GOAT over the other two mascots. TSR, to me, has a worse gameplay control more than CTR but at least CTR can get easy to control after your first session. I don’t know why TSR is hard to control. It’s kinda slow, especially combined with the tracks. Crash Team Racing also has Spyro! Do any of the two other games have Spyro?! Seems like a no to me. 1. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled 2. Crash Team racing by far for me. Mario kart is better for couch co op when you play with a bunch of casuals and for online but otherwise CTR blows it out of the water
In my opinion you cant rank a game lower on the list because of microtransactions cuz they arent shoving them down your throat forcing u to buy them they are there as an option to buy and i think getting coins based on time is bad but ctr is a hard game and i think its more fair to players who arent as good so they can get the same large amount of coins everyone else would get cuz getting coins based on how u play is good but maybe not to players who arent as good as everyone else
I'd have to disagree but I do see your point. While the microtransactions aren't shoved down your throat they did lie about the game having them in before release. Personally, I'd rather they would have said nothing at all when asked about it instead of lying. Also, the fact that everyone gets the same amount of coins is what ticks me off the most about this system. 8th place can drive around in circles (figuratively) while the other cross the finish line and everyone receives the same amount. Take it as your working and 7 people are doing all the work and 1 person is slacking off. Is it fair that that one person is getting the same pay as everyone else? That effect starts to spread to the ones that just want a payout. I just want to feel like finishing in First place feels Rewarding and Special it has one of the two that being special because this game unlike any of the other games, this game makes finishing in First Place feels like very Satisfying just not rewarding maybe this is a me problem I have this issue with other games too that don't have microtransaction. If I put in the work I want the payout to feel like I did better than the rest and the vice visa is true if I didn't do too well I don't deserve a huge payout. @@YoshKen I think you may be wrong about the coins, on CTR online, if you finish on 1st place you get more coins than the one on 7th or 8th place, for example finishing the game on Electron Avenue on 1st gives you 800 coins (on weekends) and if you finish it on 3rd or 4th place it only gives you 640 or something like that, also no, you can't just drive in Circles and receive Wumpa Coins, you need to finish at least one lap to receive Coins
Daniel García the Driving in circles was just an expression (but I didn’t know you needed to finish at least one lap that’s news to me) um I’ve been in first on EA too and the faster I’ve completed the stage the less coins I’ve received plus it might be if you don’t finish or something but I did as others if they’ve received the same amount as me and they did say yes. EA is a bit inconsistent with the amount that you can receive but I see your point
there is a reason why it isn't number 1 (neither is Mario Kart) is that if you buy CTR it takes FOREVER to get all of the Characters, Skins, Karts, colors, Ect. with all of the others games it's far easier to unlock all of the stuff. while CTR is a Fantastic game when Activision turns off the servers the grind will be even longer (or just as long if you don't play online). if you could keep the 5x or 10x gain in coins I'd more than likely change my opinion. So what I did was future proof my review thinking that Activision (and all other companies) will eventually shut down these servers that's why I didn't rank the online in the review (which all of them are pretty bad being Peer to Peer).
Mario Kart is the legendary game in the trio. Of course the game who created the genre and has the most numerous and successful franchise has to go first, people recognize the kart racing genre because of Mario kart. The video isn’t jut made for experts gamers who like CTR, it’s made for everyone, including the general people who don’t even know what CTR and Sonic Racing are.
35:22 so does the blue shell in mk8 lol and also they kinda fixed the item thing so they aren’t that easy to get rare items anymore and against CPU’s it’s a game to try and get hit by a blue orb… it ain’t happening lol
Yeah the Blue Shell is annoying in MK8D but it’s more expected than in CTR, if CTR had and item select like MK8D did that problem I stated would be resolved in private lobbies unfortunately it’s not an option.
@@YoshKen yeah it’s very sad and also just found out that before the blue shell gets to the first player it does lift up above the few people behind them I think… or I’m just being stupid but still it’s annoying either way in both games (also CTR is a game about skill so that’s annoying even more u like mk8 which is more of a party game)
@@MYSTmke I like Mario Kart 8 just a tad more manly due to being able to play it more online without the severs disconnecting. CTR has more of a grind for getting all of the things unlocked (unless you want to spend money that is) the skill part is what I enjoy the most about CTR I just wish it either had more blue flame pads or an item off button

The wumpa coins DO depend on your position. You get more coins for first and second, third I don't remember if there's a bonus. And the microtransactions are totally fine. You can easly get all the coins you need by simply playing the game without needing to spend real money. In fact, the game is so fair with the coins that I think the microtransactions are pointless, specially for those like me who played it from the launch and kept on day following the grand prixes every month hehe
On the first part I have been told and shown that your placement does matter however it is almost unnoticeable when you do not any coin multipliers and I think it should be increased . On the second point I have recently played a brand new game on my Nintendo Switch and it took hours to unlock a bundle, for those who've had the game at or near launch its pretty easy to unlock but for a new player it will take 10's of hours and can possibly kill motivation for unlocking all of the skins. I personally don't mind wasting time but it feels way too slow for the game, if it were anything other than cosmetics I would probably had dropped the game before learning it.
@@YoshKen Yeah, if you're new to the game, it takes a LOT of time to unlock everything, as there are a LOT of stuff, specially considering that the stuff that were previously unlocked by completing the grand prixes missions now also require coin. It would definatly take way more then 10 hours to unlock everything. That said, I think unlocking the cosmetics is part of the fun. There are plenty of stuff you get by just completing the campaing. After that, it's a matter of playing and slowly choosing the things you want the most. The problem in my opinion, is that you only get a reasonable amount of coins when playing on-line. 1 hour everyday with the multipliers is enought to buy 1-3 itens on the shop. But if you don't have the subscription to the online services of the consoles, then the coin earn is way too little. It becomes REALLY grindy =/

@@OrdemDoGraveto Activision is why I do not believe it will be patched, but if it has a PC release then this problem is fixed immediately by mods because Activision generally doesn't care what you do on PC.

Played all of them, i like TSR the most, great Sound track + fast paced,online is dead but offline AI is competitive enough. CTR offline is just boring hardest AI are so easy, AI never took shortcut, blue fire kinda broken, online suck i never got 5 races in row cause peoples are quitters, spent more time waiting in the lobby than the races itself, i stop playing unless beenox give me extreme AI difficulty. mario kart 8 is good but control are better in TSR

But i don't MK8D's cuz of clones but i could change but couldnt cut anyone i would make: Tanooki Mario a outfit for Mario Cat Peach a outfit for Peach Dry Bowser a outfit for Bowser Inkling Boy a outfit for Inkling Girl Female Villager a outfit for Male Villager That way we have 5 slots. And they would be: Diddy Kong Funky Kong Birdo Petey Piranha Captain Falcon My favorite though is Sonic Transformed. My tier list is: 1. Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed 2. 11:37 this is where I could finally find people to play CTR online on the PS4. It took me 11:37 minutes. The online is dead 😭😕
That's one of the reasons why I decided not to rank online it would be not only unfair but outdated whenever the developers decide to strip the game of its online (of course once CTR gets a PC release and MK8D has a way to be played online without the help of Nintendo this wouldn't matter)
Yeah I notice how you can't talk to random players or use 2 players locally and then play online. But I hear Mario kart has both these options🤔
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was such a great and inspiring game to me, and eventually, I worked on a racing literature series called, The Ultimate Grand Prix, where 6 categorical teams of 8 compete against each other in a summer-themed championship grand prix. Those categorical teams are Disney, Mojang, Hasbro, Nintendo, Sega and Warner Bros. The literature series was entirely finished a few years ago, and all of the links are accessible on Google Docs. Plus, the point system, from Mario Kart 8, is included. If you want me to send you any links to the literature series, please let me know.

@@YoshKen Well, it was worth a shot. At least, I can tell you more about The Ultimate Grand Prix literature series. Team Nintendo, of course, consists of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe characters, which is why I thought my comment was worth posting here. Every one of the 6 categorical teams consists of 8 racers, whether they are characters or fans, and that results in a total of 48 racers. There is a list I could give out about what each categorical team mainly consists of.
Disney: Kingdom Hearts characters
Mojang: Minecraft characters/skins
Hasbro: MLP G4 characters
Nintendo: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe characters
Sega: Sonic Riders characters
Warner Bros: The Looney Tunes Show characters
The capacity of 12 racers, from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, is also included, and all 6 categorical teams may have done racing before, whether it happened in TV shows, movies or video games. Plus, since there are 3 rounds, each consisting of 4 races, the total comes to 12 races. 48 racers divided by 12 racers equals 4 races times 3 rounds equals 12 races.
Is Team Sonic better on PS4 or PC? talking about online players (I read on Steam that there's not many ppl playing it :/ )
On PC the Frame rate isn’t limited so that would be the superior version while the others run at 60fps I believe.
Also Steam has this game go on sale a lot at around 10 bucks

Watching this, I kinda just get the idea that MK is really mid compared to the others, specially with the tracks, all the tracks (judging from this video) looks really bland, almost the same with different skins
It’s a bit hard to explain in text but the flow in most of the tracks in MK8/MK8D are really good. Learning the lines you need to take all the while dodging items and using the tracks layout to your advantage can be really fun. Honestly the most bland tracks of of these game has to be TSR since they are overly big and mostly straightaways.
I liked the video,you're the only one I watched with good claims,the only thing is that I personally don't think microtransactions matter that much between 2nd and 3rd place, because you can still unlock everything without paying. And I'm glad transformed wasn't underappreciated,it's a very very good game,for me between it and ctr it's tied 1st spot 🙂
That's fair but the other reason I didn't mention in the video is whenever Activision decides to shut the servers off getting coins in that game will be a pain for the newcomer (unless they release a patch to fix that when the game gets abandoned)
And the second might just be biased whether unintentional or not. (bias are I prefer Nintendo games because they rarely release bad games, and Activision I dislike due to them lying about how there going to monetize their game after release and the put them into a remake)

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled sucks because the game will not record your online win and loss records. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Nintendo online go-kart racing game because it keeps track of your online first, second and third place wins. Plus, Team Sonic Racing and Garfield Kart: Furious Racing will not record your online win and loss records.
CTR does record your record but it’s not visible. I can see why that would upset people. One of the reasons I didn’t include online as a factor is because I didn’t want to date the video (isn’t not like it matters now thanks Nintendo).
To be honest; Transformed, MK8 and CTR should all just be joint 1st (sorry Team Sonic Racing).

I do like ctr over all others (even tho I haven't played the sonic ones) cause the gameplay is infinitely better (seems to be better than sonic as well) and the mechanics are OP (drifting, u-turn, air boost, reserves). MK8 just got boring too quick for me (and it's too easy overall)
The best part of CTR is the Challenge the game has to offer personally I hate that items. They are a thing in that game because getting hit is the worst thing in the world when you're doing so well. But no other game feels so satisfying to win in.
Yeah both crash and mario are good and just because mario is is easier than crash does not mean it’s not a great game. It just comes down to preference. I personally love 8 more because I like the easier controls and I also like the item impact more. Crash still good though.

A decent video, although I think if you wrote out a more thoughtful script it would be far more engaging. I notice your explanation for why something is good or bad doesn't amount to more than buzz words instead of going into core specifics. Articulation can always be improved. Seems like some wholesome content otherwise - I love these kinds of comparative lists. It's always fun to see how opinions vary from person to person. It might be a bit shallow to say, but I think for as cool as Transformed is, it's a bit homogeneous-looking. I'm with you when you say it innovates the genre in exciting ways, but it just can't beat the sheer polish and insane attention to detail in MK8 and CTR - and the mechanics in both those games make them pretty competitive too.
CTR especially has amazing mechanics and the sense of speed in that game makes it a joy to play. Next time I will look into diversifying my vocabulary in the script so it doesn’t sound like I’m only using buzz words and try and relate them more to the core mechanics of the game. you say you dont get hit with blue shells as often. You dont have my luck. i can get three alibis to state that ive been hit with at least 3 blue shells a race, out of 4 that by the end i couldnt count on both hands how many i was hit with in the whole prix.

I love Sonic despite of... well... "HISTORY" and Crash Bandicoot. I’m not much of a Mario fan. I like these games for separate reasons. MK8 and CTR have the best and well designed tracks and large character roster and variety. TSR has the best music and its nots surprising because all or most of his games have soundtracks that GOAT over the other two mascots. TSR, to me, has a worse gameplay control more than CTR but at least CTR can get easy to control after your first session. I don’t know why TSR is hard to control. It’s kinda slow, especially combined with the tracks. Crash Team Racing also has Spyro! Do any of the two other games have Spyro?! Seems like a no to me.

In my opinion you cant rank a game lower on the list because of microtransactions cuz they arent shoving them down your throat forcing u to buy them they are there as an option to buy and i think getting coins based on time is bad but ctr is a hard game and i think its more fair to players who arent as good so they can get the same large amount of coins everyone else would get cuz getting coins based on how u play is good but maybe not to players who arent as good as everyone else
I'd have to disagree but I do see your point. While the microtransactions aren't shoved down your throat they did lie about the game having them in before release. Personally, I'd rather they would have said nothing at all when asked about it instead of lying.
Also, the fact that everyone gets the same amount of coins is what ticks me off the most about this system. 8th place can drive around in circles (figuratively) while the other cross the finish line and everyone receives the same amount. Take it as your working and 7 people are doing all the work and 1 person is slacking off. Is it fair that that one person is getting the same pay as everyone else? That effect starts to spread to the ones that just want a payout.
I just want to feel like finishing in First place feels Rewarding and Special it has one of the two that being special because this game unlike any of the other games, this game makes finishing in First Place feels like very Satisfying just not rewarding maybe this is a me problem I have this issue with other games too that don't have microtransaction. If I put in the work I want the payout to feel like I did better than the rest and the vice visa is true if I didn't do too well I don't deserve a huge payout.

@@YoshKen I think you may be wrong about the coins, on CTR online, if you finish on 1st place you get more coins than the one on 7th or 8th place, for example finishing the game on Electron Avenue on 1st gives you 800 coins (on weekends) and if you finish it on 3rd or 4th place it only gives you 640 or something like that, also no, you can't just drive in Circles and receive Wumpa Coins, you need to finish at least one lap to receive Coins
Daniel García the Driving in circles was just an expression (but I didn’t know you needed to finish at least one lap that’s news to me) um I’ve been in first on EA too and the faster I’ve completed the stage the less coins I’ve received plus it might be if you don’t finish or something but I did as others if they’ve received the same amount as me and they did say yes. EA is a bit inconsistent with the amount that you can receive but I see your point

there is a reason why it isn't number 1 (neither is Mario Kart) is that if you buy CTR it takes FOREVER to get all of the Characters, Skins, Karts, colors, Ect. with all of the others games it's far easier to unlock all of the stuff. while CTR is a Fantastic game when Activision turns off the servers the grind will be even longer (or just as long if you don't play online). if you could keep the 5x or 10x gain in coins I'd more than likely change my opinion.
So what I did was future proof my review thinking that Activision (and all other companies) will eventually shut down these servers that's why I didn't rank the online in the review (which all of them are pretty bad being Peer to Peer).

Mario Kart is the legendary game in the trio. Of course the game who created the genre and has the most numerous and successful franchise has to go first, people recognize the kart racing genre because of Mario kart.
The video isn’t jut made for experts gamers who like CTR, it’s made for everyone, including the general people who don’t even know what CTR and Sonic Racing are.

35:22 so does the blue shell in mk8 lol and also they kinda fixed the item thing so they aren’t that easy to get rare items anymore and against CPU’s it’s a game to try and get hit by a blue orb… it ain’t happening lol
Yeah the Blue Shell is annoying in MK8D but it’s more expected than in CTR, if CTR had and item select like MK8D did that problem I stated would be resolved in private lobbies unfortunately it’s not an option.

CTR has more of a grind for getting all of the things unlocked (unless you want to spend money that is) the skill part is what I enjoy the most about CTR I just wish it either had more blue flame pads or an item off button

The wumpa coins DO depend on your position. You get more coins for first and second, third I don't remember if there's a bonus.
And the microtransactions are totally fine. You can easly get all the coins you need by simply playing the game without needing to spend real money. In fact, the game is so fair with the coins that I think the microtransactions are pointless, specially for those like me who played it from the launch and kept on day following the grand prixes every month hehe
On the first part I have been told and shown that your placement does matter however it is almost unnoticeable when you do not any coin multipliers and I think it should be increased . On the second point I have recently played a brand new game on my Nintendo Switch and it took hours to unlock a bundle, for those who've had the game at or near launch its pretty easy to unlock but for a new player it will take 10's of hours and can possibly kill motivation for unlocking all of the skins. I personally don't mind wasting time but it feels way too slow for the game, if it were anything other than cosmetics I would probably had dropped the game before learning it.
@@YoshKen Yeah, if you're new to the game, it takes a LOT of time to unlock everything, as there are a LOT of stuff, specially considering that the stuff that were previously unlocked by completing the grand prixes missions now also require coin. It would definatly take way more then 10 hours to unlock everything.
That said, I think unlocking the cosmetics is part of the fun. There are plenty of stuff you get by just completing the campaing. After that, it's a matter of playing and slowly choosing the things you want the most.
The problem in my opinion, is that you only get a reasonable amount of coins when playing on-line. 1 hour everyday with the multipliers is enought to buy 1-3 itens on the shop. But if you don't have the subscription to the online services of the consoles, then the coin earn is way too little. It becomes REALLY grindy =/
@@OrdemDoGraveto yup and what do you think will happen when the servers get shut down, that was my line of thinking when making this video so it could be as timeless as possible for those in future to look at and it would still be relevant to them.
@@YoshKen I belive they would patch it to increase the coins of the offline mode when that happens... But can't be sure. I trust in Beenox, but I definatly don't trust in Activision hahaha
@@OrdemDoGraveto Activision is why I do not believe it will be patched, but if it has a PC release then this problem is fixed immediately by mods because Activision generally doesn't care what you do on PC.

Played all of them, i like TSR the most, great Sound track + fast paced,online is dead but offline AI is competitive enough.
CTR offline is just boring hardest AI are so easy, AI never took shortcut, blue fire kinda broken, online suck i never got 5 races in row cause peoples are quitters, spent more time waiting in the lobby than the races itself, i stop playing unless beenox give me extreme AI difficulty.
