Thank you. I can now replace the belts. Chilton and haynes manuals had very little information. Your video had what i needed to know. Appreciate it.

Would you share which vacuum pump and A/C gauges/manifold you use?

@@woodsandbarclay thank you so much man! I will tell them. My 1980 240d just wore a set of new tires on the inside...guess I'm gonna have to redo front ball joints etc.... I dread it! I have to find a good coil spring compressor and buy it. I assume I have to grind out the hole on the inner fender coil spring perch to make the compressor rod fit down the hole. Is there a w123 coil spring compressor you recommend that I buy that doesn't require me grinding out the hole? Thanks for all your help! I've recommended you to some people that have been looking to buy nice Mercedes cars. Thanks

@@technicalitems731 since you're not doing this professionally there's no reason to spend $800 on the klann compressor (OEM.mercedes tool maker) you can order the eBay one for like 100 to 150 bucks. Unfortunately you will have to grind out the whole there's no way around that.

@@woodsandbarclay thanks so much for the recommendation! I just didn't want to make the hole look ugly! I guess they even the dealer has to grind the hole. Weird design! I sent an alignment request to the shop you recommended and I said that you referred me to them! Thanks bud!
