I know this is an older comment/video but I agree 100 % EHT Small Batch by itself is $90-$100 secondary these days and EHT SIB goes for about $200. I have paid ridiculous secondary prices when I first started collecting, but I try my best to avoid secondary as much as possible. It all depends on how bad I want the bottle, but unfortunately wake county is the WORST place for bourbon collectors so raffles have been my best bet.
I just discovered your channel after having been into whiskey for about a year or so. I've been watching the tribe guys since, but this is so much more my style. The zero fucks given style of bottle flipping Blanton's is awesome to see. You guys aren't youtubers, you're dudes I would hang out and drink whiskey with lol. I been practicing bottle flipping thanks to you... with EW BiB. Keep em flippin.
I walked into a Total Wine in Houston yesterday to grab a gift for someone else and managed to find an EH Taylor small batch just sitting on the shelf. I've never even seen one in any store here. $44 later and a unicorn sitting on my shelf. Sometimes really nice things just happen out of nowhere.
At least two of our stores don't charge over retail for allocated bottles. There's basically a lottery/list but you pay normal price. They're concerned about a long term relationship with customers.
I'm gone for the next two weeks (wedding), but we live stream on Tuesday nights where we just hang out with people. Dan will be live with a friend of the channel while I'm gone. Drop in and hang out!
Just walked out of a rare liquor shop in midtown Manhattan that put the Taylor Barrel Proof at (wait for it...) $895... I literally laughed at the guy. Bourbon prices are completely out of control. It's seriously giving the product a bad reputation. I MIGHT have paid $400 because it is SO hard to find, but $900? F- that guy.
My locale shop has had EH Taylor SiB for $200 for quite some time. Briefly considered, then realized that's dumb as fuck. Stumbled across SiB at Safeway for $70 a week later. Bought that one :D
Keep the series going. Did get rhe EHT BP for 94.99, which I was very lucky. Yet, got RHFs for 110. Win some and just have to secretly tell yourself you won. 💯🥃🤙
Good Lord... Help me get in the loop with your secondary market!! The ones I'm aware of have most of these at 2x or more than what you're calling out... Damn
Tonight’s picks were: Rebel Yell, Four roses select, Bardstown Bourbon Co Fusion, old grandad.... was a good night. Coronavirus is making me an alcoholic and I love it! lol
I won a bottle of Blantons Gold in an auction (paid $72 for the entries) a while back. Don't care much at all about regular Blantons so I offered up a trade. The result was my Gold for an EHT SiB, ECBP A120, and a kicker 2oz sample of WLW. I've never had Gold but I based my potential thoughts on my opinion of the regular offering. Either way, I think I made out pretty good on the deal.
I saw rock hill farms for $330 the other day and passed on it for sure, it was the only time I have ever seen it which kind of mad me sad and aggravated at the same time lol
Dan,Where did you get your tasting glass? It looks like a nice glass. Taylor’s single barrel is a lovely expression. Taylor’s bib small batch is in my normal rotation at $55 a bottle at an out of the way shop here in Maryland. Only one shop I can find Taylor’s and luckily it’s the same shop that carries tom’s foolery, another of my favorites that is in full time rotation. The bottles that stays in full time rotation are turkey 101,Taylor’s small batch,Toms Foolery bib, balcones blue corn and for a rye I usually keep a sagamore on hand. For scotch I prefer Isly, either laphroig or Ardbeg,at the moment it’s Ardbeg wee beastie.
Joe, this was my first year of getting called for a raffle "winner" and then had the gall to offer to me at 2-3X MSRP for the OWA 107 ($100) and 6X for the ORVW 10 year ($400). I politely laughed and said NO!!!
I found a bottle of Eh Talylor single barrel last week, fantastic bourbon. Paid a little more than I wanted to but I haven’t seen it anywhere and figured what the hell.
In FLA, the last time I saw a BOTTLE of Taylor (it was the Single Barrel) AT RETAIL, was pre-COVID, by a year or 2. I bought it and LOVED it. I STILL have a 1/4 of the bottle left because we don't get the line here. When you find it TODAY, which is almost never...it's 3-4x retail. Just wtf! I LOVE the juice but this is allocation non-sense is OUT OF HAND.
I have had 2 bottles of RHF's. One on the shelf 5 years ago ($90 CAD) and another part of a trade that is half full. The Blanton's Gold in Canada is 750 ml. Hard to get now, lottery in Ontario. Used to guzzle it down thinking I could just walk in a store and replace it, now no gold for me.
I live in Canada, and with Blantons Gold now being released in America, the price for a bottle up here has gone up to $170 msrp. I like Blantons Gold but it's not worth that. I paid $115 for my bottle but $170 is ridiculous!
Here in Romania(Europe) i can buy Blanton Gold for like 150 bucks and Blanton SFTB for like 180. For me its to much...then i go for Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, the daddy of all budget bourbons. Better then anything in its price range and above. Yessir!
should have your viewers report in what they paid for a prize bottle of Bourbon when they bought it and what state. In Ct. liquor store wanted $350 for stagg .I told him stick it wear the sun don't shine see how it ages.
Curious, what are a couple of your go to whiskies (generally available) around the $75 range? I cannot get Blanton's, one of my personal favorites, so I consider Booker's (~$70) to be my best bang for my buck at the price point as it's very accessible in the Mid-West.
Would totally love to see this again, given how bananas the market has gotten!
How about now? lol
Wow crazy how the secondary has jumped on these since this video
Jumped like Michael Friggin Jordan broseph
Jumped like your subscribers too!!! bless ups
Give us an update. 👍

@@mssmusic15 I got very lucky and met some guys that have been collecting for a long time was able to never pay secondary prices..... so far

bottle flipping rare BT products is probably the weirdest flex i've seen in awhile. fantastic outro btw, perfectly executed!
I was feeling sassy that day idk
Just bought Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof today for $76!!! Iowa sometimes rocks lol
At first I didn't like the chaotic nature of your videos but I have come to appreciate and even enjoy it.
It's crazy how much these have gone up secondary! RHF $350, EHT BP $800, Blanton's gold $280
I pretty much gave up hunting. Way out of hand. Maybe the taters will move on and we will be stuck with a shit load of good bourbon in 5-10yrs
Found EHT BP for $899 last month. FOH
Even during those times. I wish I was able to get any of these at said secondary $.
Got Rock Hill for $89 but that was because stagg jr was 199
love the series - I will never see any of these bottles, but appreciate the knowledge / entertainment.
At least two of our stores don't charge over retail for allocated bottles. There's basically a lottery/list but you pay normal price. They're concerned about a long term relationship with customers.
Just want to say so glad I found your channel. You dudes look like you would be fun to hang out with and drink! Look forward to the next video.
I'm gone for the next two weeks (wedding), but we live stream on Tuesday nights where we just hang out with people. Dan will be live with a friend of the channel while I'm gone. Drop in and hang out!
Just picked up weller 12 and eh Taylor for retail
I found E.H. Taylor barrel proof for $79.99 by me in Illinois... and i bought it with a smile on my face and a mean hard on!
Where did you find it? Hunting in Illinois I find Binnys and Woodman's to be the most consistent prices right at MSRP and sometimes even lower
House of Wine and Cheese in Richmond Il. It's right on the Illinois Wisconsin border
I've seen it last week, and they're selling it for 500$ now. Crazy!
I just found 1792 store pick barrel proof for 40 bucks. One of the best deals I have ever gotten on a bourbon. Nice video btw guys, Cheers.
Solid score, and thanks!
Sean, coming in savage @ $80 for the Blanton's Gold! That was EPIC!

That's crazy. I just got one this past weekend for $138 after tax. Lucky find I know.
My locale shop has had EH Taylor SiB for $200 for quite some time. Briefly considered, then realized that's dumb as fuck.
Stumbled across SiB at Safeway for $70 a week later. Bought that one :D
You guys should do a reaction video on these videos. The prices are so much higher now.

In Japan Blanton's Gold ranges from about $100 to $180. E.H Taylor Single Barrel is about $110.
Good Lord... Help me get in the loop with your secondary market!! The ones I'm aware of have most of these at 2x or more than what you're calling out... Damn
Agreed!!!

Does sound like a good night brother!

I too have an undying love for RHF.. great video!
It's just good, solid age at a solid proof
Love this series!
I love the “how much should you pay” series. Would love a blind taste marriage of these too.
Edit: love you guys. Bottle flips: Dan > Sean
Never seen Rock Hill Farms, fortunately in Canada I can get Blanton's Gold once or twice a year for around $100 CAD.
Not a bad trade off honestly
I’d be interested in how whiskey taste when a bottle is first opened compared to it at half empty and then when there is just a little left.
Do an update on these
All of these secondary prices make me sad. Cause where they are now is at least double these prices. Insane
Dan is the informationalist stopper-topper-swapper man in all of Michi-Gan!
Great video guys. I have most of these and agree. Keep up the great work!
All The Bottle Flips!! Great video as always Gents!
The B roll in this is so damn clean! I had to keep reminding the video to hear what I missed. 😂
Sean and Dan both awesome in their own way I have a rock hill farms at my
Store but they’re $399 I’m really split
I walked in to a store in South Florida yesterday, and that EHT Barrel Proof was selling for $1000.
I think you added some 0's accidentally
You mean sitting for $1000
Where are you guys finding your bottles secondary? I’m seeing a lot higher prices out there…
Justin’s House of Bourbon in Lexington has Blanton’s Gold for $350. I about shit my pants.
Don't even need to watch but I will. I already know they're all going to be out of my price range.
don't ever doubt your abilities in life.
I would pay the secondary price listed in this video all day today.
I saw rock hill farms for $330 the other day and passed on it for sure, it was the only time I have ever seen it which kind of mad me sad and aggravated at the same time lol
I picked up a bottle of EH Taylor Back in November for 40$
EHT barrel proof on the shelf was $500 in Colorado
Ouch... We never even saw one in the wild this year though.
I got a rock hill farms a couple weeks ago and paid $95 for it. Little over what I wanted to pay, it is delicious though.
Whew... That used to be $50, and as a single barrel can vary somewhat. Enjoy!
What do you guys use to track secondary prices?
My heart stopped, face exploded, and hands went all kung fu on each bottle flip. Thanks guys I got white chest hairs now.
Happy to help!

EHT got me into bourbon. I haven't seen a bottle at retail in over 2 years and here in TX the secondary is even higher.
finally got one for a deuce. RHF is the nectar of the gods
Ever have Detroit City Distillery Butchers Cut Bourbon? Just picked up a Kroger store pick of it and so far so great!
I've been seeing the EHT Barrel Proof going for 260-290 on secondary raffles :(

What's the name of the glass the guy on left is holding, looks cool 😁
That's a Denver and liley! Great glass to hold and drink out of
watching the dropped EH Taylor in slow mo is great hahah
Anyone know best time of the year to find e.h. Taylor?
It's not gonna be the coronavirus that kills me its gonna be all these insane bottle flips
Idk I went into that day sassy af, was really feeling the bottle flips
I bought a Blanton's gold from Binny's for $130 couple weeks ago. I'm still looking for E.H. Taylor single barrel, or barrel proof.
I found the Taylors BIB here in Texas for the first time yesterday for $43
Worth
Got a Blanton's Gold, paid around 80 € and i love it.
Solid price for it
Sean, rocking that PRe-quarantine Haircut
It will be a great day when I can get it cut again, and not by Dan.

it will only continue to go up . it business
let me do a little update for you here in AZ secondary
EH SiB: $350
Rock Hill Farms: $350-$450
EH BP: $400
Blantons Gold: $450
Hi. Love your videos. Q:Dan what is the glass your are drinking from called. Thx.
that's a Denver & Liely
Blanton’s Gold in Australia US$116, never on sale. Use to be a lot cheaper before the US release
i get pretty much every bottle you just showed every year for retail except blantons gold i had to pay $135 for it
Love Watching your vids players. Tossing hard to find BT straight flex. Perfect ending
Please keep making videos like this.
People seem to like the series so we'll keep doing this for sure!
Secondary on Rock Hill Farms in DC is $460
What glass is Sean using?
Where do you even see these secondary market prices I can’t find Em. I see them for much more these days
Like the new intro overlay!
Hell of a bottle flip to end it Dan🥃
Great video as always guys, love the addition lately of the b rolls and the out going flip!
Rock hills newest release just hit here in CA, $90 I think... never had it, might pull that trigger
I'd pay 90 for rock hills, but that's my favorite mash bill 2 (in my heart)
Just passed up a bottle of eh single barrel, for the barrel proof, I regret not getting both of them just to have.
We need an updated video!
When did those BTACs get there congrats guys. Loving this series.
They are on loan while we were reviewing them.
Would you guys splurge on any very old st nick?
I think we had the 12 year and thought it was pretty good, haven't had any others
Bourbon Junkies Thanks for the reply fellas! Awesome info u guys give out 🙌🏽 Cheers
Where is the date mark on the EHT bottles Fella's? Thanks Guys!
There is usually a laser code on the bottom somewhere. First two numbers are year and past that you'd have to Google it cause idk, sorry.
I like i can get blantons at retail relatively easy from my local grocery store. But i dont because there is better
You would love my #1 Mash(125) aged in a small barrel for 4 weeks
You dropped one and I almost yelled out loud.
I just got a bottle from St Thomas duty free $160. Had to try it. Wouldn't pay that again. Great channel BTW!
Thank you and at least you got one! Sometimes that's more important than the price.
Could you do the entire wellers line?
WSR = $45, OWA = $90, Weller 12 = $250, Weller Full Proof = $275, CYPB = $575, Single Barrel = $825
Who can you order through to get delivery in Michigan?
15-20% over retail is my limit on anything. There is plenty of excellent whiskey readily available at msrp.
Great series fellas. I'm sure when blantons gold hit market the secondary will be at least 500. Cheers
Here in Romania(Europe) i can buy Blanton Gold for like 150 bucks and Blanton SFTB for like 180. For me its to much...then i go for Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, the daddy of all budget bourbons. Better then anything in its price range and above. Yessir!

got a bottle of Taylor for 62 but had to win a lottery to buy it. sad but true
I know I am re-looking at this BUT Caribou Crossing DOES have the right bottle stopper for that Rock Hill Farms bottle
Can y’all do a review on Southwell 12 year
@sean thats some good looking cut glass buddy. link?
Lord's Rocks glasses! Probably our favorite rocks glass in the game. They're the big ones.
@@BourbonJunkies Preciate it my dudes
What’s the name of the glass that the guy on the left is drinking out of ?
Denver and liley bourbon
That bottle b roll into the intro though...
Took a chance on this. Thoughts? -Dan
@@BourbonJunkies Big fan, thought it was cool for something different
I found Rock Hill Farms on the shelf here in Chicago for a small price of $320. 😕
It's good but damn... Not that good
Do these again. Prices have changed quite a bit since then, but now that the prices are starting to come down…what should we pay.
I need some leads in SE Michigan!!! Haha

For me, Sean, I'd say 1920 at 60 bucks is a little more expensive daily that me and my wife both really enjoy.
EHTSB is $150 where I’m at in AZ and I can’t find Small Batch at all.
Same here in southern CA roughly $125 - $170 for EH Taylor SB in southern CA.
