35:00 you may want to put a void upgrade in the drawer underneath the phyto, lest it fill up completely with seeds and block wheat from being produced the absolutely insane power generation when using all of the different generators reminds me a lot of set rewards from Diablo 2, when you wear all the pieces! 😁 it's kind of silly to think your next project will be a generator (give me its filth!), but I'll be watchin' 😅
The best practice is to use an independent power source for the stasis chamber and not connect it to your main power source. If your main power source goes down for some reason the wither will get loose. A thermo powering the stasis inside the box will keep it going regardless of the fluctuations in your main power system.
I did this coz SystemCollapse did it but got confused an put a super heating element underneath my thermo instead of a blazing or dark matter block. Came back to find the wither had destroyed the fluid laser base 🤦♂
@@sisigwithrice Where this trips people up is when they upgrade their power system and have to replace or expand a reactor. You have to take the reactor offline and then your power may drop too much letting the wither free. With an independent power system this isn't a problem.
If my 25m power goes down I have the 2 reactors that are dormant right now to kick in, I'm shooting right for the ATM star as it is so that I can have infinite power any way 😉
In atm8, i found a zombie spawner in a roguelike that spawned them in with enchanted armor. Coupled that with an enchantment extractor and it handled the disenchantment and the death generators all at once
Suggestion for the Phytogenic Insulators that you want to be extremely fast: Use 2 Energy Nullifiers and 1 Efficiency Nullifier from Thermal Endergy. Significantly faster than the Twinite Flux Linkages :)
I know you said you were avoiding them but my disenchantment generator solution is an easy villagers autotrader on top with a drawer as a buffer. The villager produces books faster than the generator can use them, so the drawer was necessary for a good stockpile. I'm curious why you did two export buses on the slimey generator - couldn't you just do both milk and slimeballs in the same export bus?
I'm used to doing this with RS and you can't do both fluid and items in an exporter 🤔 I like the idea of using villagers for trades for books! I might try get a villager from a zombie villager instead of using ars 😉
I wish Compact Machines would be updated and we can get rid of the Hyberbox mod. I like the functionality of being about to connect to the ports but there are other easy ways of remote transport of stuff and it's not worth the drain of a whole separate dimension for each hyberbox.
Hyperboxes create a brand new folder and a totally different dimension each time a box is made, where as with compact machines you only had one dimension but the boxes were miles apart! It's not a big deal until you own a server then it becomes a big pain in the bum! 😉
The set up cost for fusion is kinda high but I guess so is the set up cost for this 😅 Draconic Evo is in the pack but currently doesn't have anything to do with the ATM star so I'm not showing it off yet! I will do when I get the star though😉
The wasted bees change was a pain but once you set them up with 4x Omega upgrades they are around the same as previously *BUT* without any lag from having both bees and radiation in the world. That said, Productive Bees is getting nerfed hard of late (Industrial Foregoing Souls doesn't work at all, hardcoded into the mod) so I'm still trying to get 16x 2x ATM Star blocks in my ATM9 world. I have 15 Starry Bees and it's just not enough. I need over 11,000 ATM Stars. You need tens of millions of shards. 😡
The bees change was nessisary and not everything needs to be op so I get it. I just think it should cost more to set up and then be the same as it used to be 🤔
@@Pilpoh The annoying thing is the ATM team clearly geared the endgame around using bees and Industrial Foregoing Souls but the unilateral nerf has made it almost impossible. One of the 'ultimate goals' is a 9x ATM Star block. That's just utterly crazy now, before it was barely possible because you could change the speed of the hives. Even getting the 16x 2x ATM Star blocks for the Micro Universe Orb is almost out of reach. You either spend tens of hours just fishing for Patrick Bees or you spend potentially thousands of hours AFK with a dozen or so Starry Bees. It is what stopped me playing for 3 months - it was like facing a brick wall. Even now I'm going to just have to leave my laptop in in AFK for a fortnight or so to get it done. 😡
the 256 DISK is absolutely not the way to go; especially on lower end machines. when using the normal item cells the ME system has to scan at most 63 types per cell, while with DISKs it can easily reach hundreds, if not more. this leads to lagspikes when opening the terminal and generally worse performance overall. if you need more types, it's always better to just use more 4k's than just using DISKs. I personally experienced a noticeable speedup when I switched to cells another disadvantage is that disks are prone to being flooded when a lot of a single item is being produced. cells can mitigate that when using partitioning in combination with overflow destruction cards. they can also hold more of a single item than a disk of the same capacity edits along the video: 1) 7:50 it's better to partition the storage bus instead off setting it to export only. as the drawers are locked anyways, there won't be an issue of accidentally putting something inside you don't want 2) for latex, you could've just bound the drawer to the controller - you can extend it's range quite a bit anyways 3) 12:30 it'll be a VERY worthwhile investment to make a transmutation module as it lets the ME system autocraft anything you have learned in the tablet 4) export busses now can export both fluids and items, so you don't need more than 1 per machine. also for the slimy mycelial you absolutely can use a single export bus, as the slots are filtered for what goes inside 5) for the pink generator, it's probably easiest to use pink concrete or pink wool, just learn them and use an transmutation export bus, you'd be surprised at how useful they are
I've never had the dummy ME drives explained to me like that before! This is really good to know, I might swap back to regular disks now! I'm used to using Refined Storage which can't do items and fluids on the same exporter so that explains why I didn't do it on one with AE😅 I got to get into applied E! ty for the comment!

for milk, you can make a Cow in a Jar from CookingForBlockheads, place it on top the slimey generator, and pull milk from it
I didn't think that made milk quick enough 🤔
@@Pilpoh it is enough, from my testing

That's clever! I don't think I can do that in skies but it's still great for the generators in atm9 😁

I've upgraded some of my phytos since this videos and it doesn't seen that much faster... Might just be my perception of it though 😁
nice job explaining all that!

hyper box dimension weight like 50 kb... why ppl have so much problems with them lol

First! What is with YT not saving comments again!?
If you post a comment during an advert, or start writing a comment during an advert, it often doesn't save. It's infuriating.
Weird... You got it today at least 😁🥇
HUH? I thought with the end game mechanism fusion reactor would produce the most FE ever. Also I just found out they added draconic evolution??

Do you have to use all of the mycelial generator types to produce power?
Yes, all of them have to be producing power for the 25 million generator to work.
Everyone of them has to be not just powered but running, as in producing power 😉
