The ease with which this horrible woman talks about jailing eight and nine-year-old children is astounding. She should be in jail.

Considering that arrest and detainment is basically state-sponsored kidnapping intended solely for the punishment of ACTUAL criminals, which these kids AREN'T btw, I think the case could clearly be made for life imprisonment of the *thing on the juvie bench* under 18 USC 242 since all of these unlawful detentions occurred on HER orders as a representative of the law...😡🌋

Two federal statutes apply. Conspiracy to deny civil rights, in that she conspired within the system with police officers and the prison industrial system to deny children their right to Liberty and self expression under the fourth and first amendment of the constitution. And color of law felonies in misuse of their governmental power to commit the formerly stated violations to liberty and security. A pattern or practice investigation should be conducted on the county, considering the involvement of police, judge and more than likely prosecutors in the scheme.
It should be a open and shut case for false imprisonment
Separate charges for each child past and present
And I would even charge this disgrace of a judge with kid napping
She should only be shown the same amount of the so called justice that she has shown to all these children

Read the ProPublica report, and they were specifically advised not to build a bigger detention center. They were told to invest more in facilities to help kids and families. Their response........fire the consulting firm and build a bigger detention facility. Really shits in the face of the whole "pro family" thing on the right

Most likely because while on the surface things have improved. However, to those who have been misused by the powers that be, whether knowingly or unknowingly, still are experiencing racial undertones directly or indirectly.
They and they alone are the judge of whether or not racism still exhists.
I am a 65 year old white male. I was a very troubled child and ended up in juvenile lock up pre teen. I was beaten buy the guards and locked in solitary many times. I probably spent 1/2 of my Jr. and high school years in there until I was old enough to go to regular jail. 16 years old in the 60's/ 70's. On probation for 10 years at least as a minor. I learned about drugs in there which eventually led to me being a Heroin addict fo many years and incarceration from that. It all started from my Mother thinking a few days in "Juvie" would do me some good but in reality ruined my life. This woman and all of her accomplices need to be arrested and sent to prison. They all need one of those belts taken out on them. This whole story makes me sick.

Trump started it. His hotels were being used to funnel foreign money by making these foreign visitors stay in his hotels. Our taxpayers paid millions of $$$ to Trump's hotels during his four years in office.

If people have to tell you they are Christian, or whatever religion, especially as in why I should trust them with anyone or anything, I immediately put my fingers up like a cross, warding off evil! You have to watch them closely, because they love to do that slight of hand style of trick, "look over here, because I say I'm good"! "Don't look over there where I'm doing bad!" I learned this as a little kid! The bullies, who got away with everything, were the angels from the local churches. Only the poor kids, outside of these churches, were considered evil and lying about those angels being bullies! This "judge" is just like them! She has to go! Can't the DOJ do anything? She is clearly breaking the law!!!

Not the only one. I remember some years ago a judge was indicted for his relationship with one of these incarceration for profit companies. He was funneling juveniles to the detention centers for kickbacks and campaign donations. I say make an example of them as a deterrent to others who would advise power under color of law and would conspire with others to deny children their fourth and first amendment constitutional rights. I would advise taking them out of the gene Pool, but two wrongs don’t make s right, severe financial penalties for all conspirators should be forthcoming though.

Well a few days ago I went to high school to take my daughter home, she was late, so I parked the car and headed on foot towards school! 70% of that school are non-white students! hundreds of students were coming out and those few hundred yards I heard a horrible swearing !!So much use of the word "N" ... SUCK MY D***! In front of the girls! SO We need such a judge for those ********

Kidnapping is a crime x's the number of kids she locked up. If "kidnapping won't stick" then make up a LAW that will stick- "You're fat and ugly" will do and the community gets paid (because it is a community effort= + being an adult that money she gets paid comes out of the city coffers as taxes. So we are getting money FROM HER BANK ACCOUNT AS THAT IS SEIZED FOR MONEY "ILLEGALLY OBTAINED" aka "STOLEN" Lets say $175,000,000 and she can NEVER HOLD THAT POSITION AGAIN "anywhere". I reported this to the FBI. PLEASE, EVERYONE TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE THIS A VIRAL REPORT TO THE FBI. This is an incredibly horrific dystopian situation. I cannot imaging any of my kids being handcuffed and jailed at 8 years old for being present at school. The kids vomiting because of fear tells the story. I think if this happened to one of my kids at 8 years old I would have vomited as well.
She should be investigated to see if she is being given KICKBACKS FROM THE PRIVATE PRISONS. TWO judges were found guilty of that and SENT TO FEDERAL PRISONS.

This reminds me of the story of former Pennsylvania judge Mark Ciavarella Jr., who was finally convicted in 2011 when it had been proven that he had been taking kickbacks from detention center developers to send kids to their centers. He had taken a total of about $1 million in bribes to do this. He was sentenced to 28 years in prison. At his age, this could amount to a life sentence. I can't say that this case is apples-to-apples but, given that she's cut promos for detention centers and sent kids to them for made-up reasons, it wouldn't be a stretch to think this.
Thats what i was going to say, I just couldn't remember who was the judge and where he was from,...all i remembered was an angry mom whom was yelling at the judge in his court wanting to beat the judge up cause he had incarcerated her son and would give him and the others severe punishment often to the point where this lady's son committed suicide....just terrible😣😪😥😫😤😡🤬...their is actualy a video on that and that same footage. 8f we are speaking about the same judge but i wouldn't dought it.

The degree of corruption in politics is staggering and the only thing that counts is money. This so called judge is maybe not typical just a glaring example of what happens when absolute power corrupts absolutely. What should be made clear though, is the fact she’s been appointed to the bench and as such enabled by the authorities, who are complicit in the crimes she’s committing even now.

It's incredible that in the US a person under the age of 18 can get a life sentence, and even a death penalty. In Sweden people under 18 can't even get a jail sentence

In my past professional life I interacted often with Judge Davenport. The other side of this story is her absolutely horrific behavior in court toward professionals. She is hands down the absolute worse judge I ever interacted as a foster care coordinator for a major foster care agency here in Middle TN.

But selling kids' lives for money is distinctly capitalist behavior, regardless of the system under which it occurs. It's literally the profit motive in its most bare form. It has nothing to do with, "From each according to their means; to each according to their needs."

my daughter was put into a detention center for truancy. she was hiding in the school bathroom because of the bullying she received daily at school. Physical bullying. I went round and round with the schools and then the courts became involved. its all about the money. I already was struggling when this happened. Also my daughter had anxiety and was a cutter. They dont care about kids at all.

She was an adjunct professor at Middle Tennessee State University for many years, and she was let go recently after all the publicity came out. I hope this signals the beginning of the end of Donna Scott Davenport.

Hey, I'm a retired cop. I was a Juvi detective for years!! I always believed my job was to detect, catch, and correct! So, this means, find the, catch the perpetrator, and for most crimes, educate so the problem didn't occur again!! Notice I didn't say incarcerate!! I never sought to put a petty youth offender in jail. As a matter of fact, it always hurt me when a child was not allowed to go home after a hearing. Sometimes it was absolutely warranted but not like this crazy judge!! Her incarceration rate is appalling, even to those that bring her the cases!!! I know it's not proper, but I think, I'd consider bringing fewer into custody if I knew she would hear the case!!

I volunteered years ago at a juvenile detention centre. It was heartbreaking. 90 percent of those kids didn’t belong there!!! They came out of there bitter, scared and scarred. They learned new tricks from the other kids. We took 8 kids out every Sunday ( four adult volunteers ) and we took a vote on what they wanted to do that day. The head of the institute called us in and said it was amazing the attitude change in the kids that got chosen. You had to have good behaviour to go with us. Unfortunately we could only take 2 kids per adult. It was so heartbreaking to leave dozens of kids behind.

This reminds me of a case about 10 years ago in Lackawanna county, PA. I think it was actually two judges getting kickbacks from a private juvenile detention center for nonsense like fighting in school and (I’m not joking) talking back to their parents. They are currently serving long sentences in federal prison.
She belongs in prison. Most people in the so called legal systems do.
