Jewish people have lived in that area since the start of the iron age. And they've made up 10% or more of the population for the last 2100 years. They had a right to a part of the Palestine province of the Ottoman empire to build a safe Homeland when the Ottoman empire fell.
@@macmcleod1188 Then they deserve 10% not all of it, which is what they are attempting to take by force. Who, exactly are they taking it from? Descendants of the Samarians. Virtually all those who stayed converted to Islam in the 7th century. The people now controlling the area are largely descended from those who fled the area many centuries ago. They have no special claim to the area once called Palestine, certainly no right to take it from those who have lived there CONTINUOUSLY for millennia. The most religious Israelis, the Hasidim, speak Yiddish, a European language.

While travelling to India to install avionics for an Indian airline I was detained by security for questioning. Probably because I had an extensive toolkit and my passport showed travel to multiple countries for extended periods of time. The person who questioned me turned out to be ex-Mossad. Over the hour or so I was detained my answers were direct and true. The agent politely answered my questions after the interview. He admitted he was ex-Mossad. I was asked to stay in a holding area while others were interviewed. Afterwards I was offered a drink and ended up in a conversation with the agent. The conversation was very revealing wrt the art of interrogation. It also taught me that the Israeli Mossad was not to be trifled with, ignored, forgotten or underestimated.
Plenty of doctors worldwide use those, walkie talkies are used by many different groups of people too. Just because you don’t use it doesn’t mean nobody does.
It's a passive message-receiving device that cannot be localized (because it doesn't send any signal, it only receives, unlike a phone). It wasn't dumb of them to use pagers, it was dumb to buy them from Mossad.
@@VaclavSir Exactly, I've been saying this but nobody knows anything.... The technical reasons for switching to pagers was a totally correct. Now... having moles within their organization, and sourcing them in the way they did, THAT was the mistake.
So Hezbollah is resorting to using men on scooters to move notes around to communicate messages...wow. Talk of crippling your enemys communication to nothing
The fact that Israel pulled off the most brilliant counter terrorism operation of all time, AND made a profit off the terrorist targets... *Chefs Kiss*

personaly us telling israel to lighten up on Hezbollah and Hamas is a joke when after 9/11 we went to war with a country that had nothing to do with it. Israel is fighting for their survival, safety and ability to thrive. The us needs to not be hypocrites. What would we do.
The US should show moral courage and oppose this forms of attacks. No state or non state group should be allowed to use terrorism. A traditional state just used terrorism and no outrage about it. This is moral failure by the press and the current administration.
Does anyone feel even remotely sorry about these terrorists? It's not like those kids who got hurt would have a chance to grow up to be decent humans, they must have been already brainwashed to become terrorists.
Yo, Tapper, if this action isn't terrorism, I don't know what is. You'd be shouting "terrorists!" from the rooftops if this messy escalation was launched by Iran and the victims were IDF and Israeli citizens.
Iran was threatening air strikes on Cyprus. I was in Cyprus this summer , and my location status kept telling me I was in Lebanon, Rafic Hariri international airport to be exact no matter where I was in Cyprus. Come to find out Israel did this to protect Cyprus from any air strikes effin Genius!!!! Ty Israel!
It wasn't Israel that committed mass murder; it was Hamas, whose violent attacks have triggered the conflict. Israel is now taking preemptive steps to protect itself from a war that it did not start, and the violence is spilling over as Iran's allies become involved, further escalating tensions in the region.
It’s interesting how people don’t realize what it mean. It basically mean that the device in front of your eyes can explode at government wish, how ignorant if you can’t see this, you think only their pager can explode?
When terrorists hurt Israel's UN security council has nothing to say, but is when Israel hit hard on terrorists then you will see UN security council start to functions as if the terrorists groups are accepted before the council. This approach will not solve the issue today and forever.
These electronic pager attacks must be labeled what they are: state terrorism. This was an act of terror, and it was committed twice. To arbitrarily attack a civilian population with intent to motivate a political end is, by definition, "terrorism".
It's sad that in USA some people mostly youngsters support jihadist group just because they are fighting with Israel. They have no clue that these jihadist groups ( Islamic jihad - ha.mas ) want the shariah law for Palestine. There are no freedom of speech, freedom of chosing your religion, the right to live and have Rights for gays, women rights and... In these groups manifest.
Thing is hezbollah don't really care who they hurt with their actions. So we do have to watch out for what they are going to do next? And you know they are going to do something.
One of these presenters claimed that it is difficult for Hezbollah to choose between pulling back from abusing their neighbors across the border or risk severely downgrading their military in Lebanon. Amazing, this seems like a no-brainer to me. Why not decide to live in peace?? Beat your swords into plowshares! Don’t learn war anymore! Just see if it doesn’t work.
Never has a pager send such a powerful message.

Did he say “What can we and Hezbollah expect tomorrow?” When in the hell did Americans group themselves with Terrorists?
Fckn unbelievable
@@mannyman4103 right? I can’t believe this shit. It makes me so mad.
CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera are terrorist
You Don't Mess with the Zohan 😂
This is terrorism
How many helpless women were assaulted and humiliated then murdered in this "attack"?
One of these presenters claimed that it is difficult for Hezbollah to choose between pulling back from abusing their neighbors across the border or risk severely downgrading their military in Lebanon. Amazing, this seems like a no-brainer to me. Why not decide to live in peace?? Beat your swords into plowshares! Don’t learn war anymore! Just see if it doesn’t work.
