Man, Hasbro really should be approaching you to put this in the legacy line, this is phenomenal. Your inspired engineering and their better-than-3d-printed plastic and mass production capabilities would be a dream team!
@@sammakestoys9223 You don't have to be in the official business to make transformers. Just sell it as third party and you'll likely to be successful. I can't think about anyone else making TFA figures in the current market.
The animated transformers figures are the goat in terms of engineering. Imagine the struggle to create a bot that not only looks animated, but also transforms in the animated way
The engineering of this is pretty much on par with official animated figures! Especially the clever design for the scoop. Even the compromises you mentioned also seem like ones that Hasbro would have made. The only thing that is missing are ratchet joints in the scoop (which doesn't usually work with 3d printed plastic so it's understandable to ommit them). This thing is awesome and I hope you make more animated figures for characters we never got (mixmaster? Omega Supreme? Hot Shot?). Keep up the amazing work!
This is genuinely one of the most impressive transformers I have seen. Sure, it's not the most complicated or articulated figure out there, but seeing an individual model and print a figure that's on the same level as Hasbro's Animated figures is simply something to behold. Stellar work!
This is absolutely PHENOMENAL work. The level of design that went into bring this beloved Animated figure to life, and the execution is just MILES beyond what I thought was possible. Congratulations on this masterpiece! 👍🏼
Upon first look, I would never have guessed that, that robot transforms. Absolutely stunning and the overall engineering is quite impressive, and no faux parts. Very cool.
I absolutely love this figure! Since the Spacebridge design from TFA appears in the Legacy Evolution poster, this has got me really hyped to see how Hasbro handles the Animated designs! Hopefully they won't try to redesign them as heavily as they did with the TFP figures...
@@Draconicus702 update: They did the same crap to animated Prowl. I have no confidence in their TFA Optimus. Stupid Hasbro and their stupid "synergy" with G1

To me the delicate way you’re handling him, while necessary due to the materials, is making the transformation look a lot more elaborate than it actually is. I could see this guy being an absolute blast to transform with proper clicky plastic. He looks superb regardless!
To be honest it looks worse as well as I've got my arms wrapped around a lighting and camera setup. You dont normally transform things straight armed away from the body lol
Funny enough, just yesterday I was talking about what If a third party company did mp styled animated characters. Then I see this video. Good job man you’re doing a much better job than any Takara employee could.

Very amazing work. Omg this is seriously one nice animated scrapper! N I’m not even a fan of the animated series! The gaps on the back legs are definitely done much better than what hasbro usually do. Love the giant hands as well… only thing missing now is a weapon of some sort lol.
I reckon you might be able to figure out a way to get the head to fit into the cabin instead of just tucking it into the scoop. Then just swivel it out and have it clip on the collapsed scoop arm. Could then even replicate the scene where Scrapper is lifting out metal in that one episode and winds up pulling out Dirt Boss. In that scene he partially transforms with the scoop arm still poking out of his front.
So, I did try this originally, but the canopy needed to be much much bigger and it messed with the scoop arm compression and with the bot mode proportions. I dont doubt that it could be done, but in the framework I had already it wouldn't fit in
I've always wondered how solid are these 3D printed transformers. like the joints and build quality. or does that depend on the material used for 3D printing? sometimes some of hasbro's figures are so bad that I just wanna 3D print my own and send it to them and be like "this is how you do it"
