Hello Apolonia ❤ I went to 3 grocery stores today just to top off a few items. I did not need a lot, but I am glad I went today. Unfortunately people here in NE Ohio have already started panic buying 🙄 My main grocery store was completely out of bread flour. The TP shelves had major gaps, as well as the paper towel shelves. I purchased ONE package of 9 rolls of TP. After seeing the gaps I was not going to purchase any more. If this continues I hope the grocery stores around me will limit the amount of TP and other items that a person can buy. Like seriously folks???? Don’t take everything for yourself. Be kind and respectful to others in the community!! Blessings to you and your family ❤❤❤
I live between Conyers and Atlanta and I haven't heard anything about the explosion and pollution at all. All these things happening feel like an October surprise. Panic buying is definitely happening. My sister went to get water and it was cleared out from our normal grocer. Praying for all of you above GA and for us. We need it...
Hello, how are things in Alabama? You know, there seems to be several different terms for preparedness lol. I appreciate you taking the time the to watch and for your support!
You are truly a wise well spoken thoughtful intelligent and such an inspirational young woman! Everything that you said is on point. Thank you for sharing and please keep yourself and your family safe! 😊🤗🙏🏾❤
They were not warned!! I am so angry listening to these people saying that. You're exactly right in what you said about what people were told. I'm very old and have never seen or heard of anything at all like this. Yes, this is manipulation. It's so obvious, don't know why people are not seeing it. People are willfully ignorant now.
As a survivor of several major hurricanes like hurricane Betsy in 1965, Camille and of course hurricane Katrina, you should not judge people who did not leave the disaster impact zone. There are MANY reasons WHY people do not evacuate the area. You mentioned some of them but the reasons and circumstances are wide-ranging and many. Almost any area, especially where there is industry or major roads or railroad tracks, you should prepare for a chemical disaster. I keep a 3M chemical full face mask for each of my family members with a variety of filters for them. You never know when a railroad car will catch fire or derail or a tanker truck will overturn, etc. I also keep duct tape and plastic rolls and a heavy duty construction stapler to cover doors, windows, fireplace and vents. Think of any disaster that can happen in your area and then some. I try to keep flotation life vest in case the Mississippi levee breaks or there is inland flooding from a storm or even a tsunami that could actually travel many miles inland with the "right" category 5 or 6 hurricane in my area!
On a bright note, not all ports will be affected. Some, including those here in Mississippi, employ both union and non-union workers. From what I've read, business won't be slowed down here. As for shelves being "wiped out" as some are reporting, remember that one of the reasons is because, due to flooding, among other affects of Helene, the trucks can't get to the stores. I know we hear this every time, that people start to panic buy, but it's not always the case. Take care and be safe.❤
The strike is so concerning! Hearing that these ports will just hire the immigrants which is just maddening! Prayers for everyone! Those of you who think prepping is crazy..might want to reconsider that. People who were into preparedness are helping everyone else. The local communities are getting it done! Find a local group to donate to..not the GOV.
Hugs Appolonia, thank you for having the courage to talk about these things. All, see geo engine ering watch special short video on the hurricane (poss. steered). Some folks may have gotten boxed in by flooding all around. Are you alright, dear? I do not have filtered water but I just refill store bought water containers at my kitchen sink filter. I need to get busy...do not want to take from the supply and do not want to be without...Murphy's Law.
Hi Susan, My sister, and cousins still live in SC. I have moved out of state. Fortunately my family members only lost power. I am sooooo grateful. My heart is heavy for all of those in the storms path that lost sooooo much. I have military connections in SC, and will be sending care packages to the Army Family Services. If you know of anyone that could use some help, please do if your budget will allow. Even small things will mean a lot ❤
pres is calling all the local officials I heard. But some are not getting the calls because they have no cell service at home. They have planned for things to come in....roads being blocked has got to be hard. I would say higher up officials would not come into a place as it gets in the way, but I think folks are due to visit later this week or something like that. Thinking of you all and everyone.
How is everyone doing today? Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know.

I agree! We have to pray for divine protection from God! It’s all in His hands.

Some people can't leave due to health or money
Some people still don’t seem to understand this. 😩

Dears there seems to be some blow back on not taking things. And someone said the ILA strike is off and someone said they will Jan.
It is said a week on strike is equal to a month on strike. This will be devastating on every level
This is not good.
Hi from NY
Hi Avia, hope you’re doing well.
Horrible timing for a strike.
Could not agree with your more.
Hi from South Carolina
Hi Susan, how are you?

shameful..... shameful

one theory is that the plan was to hit NC where i did because they want the people out fining and thepeoplewere not selling
You know, I would not be surprised. To hit where it hit in NC doesn’t make sense. The loss of life and devastation is just heartbreaking.
