I lost my van and then found it very difficult to get back to it. I’m hoping to start scrapping just non ferrous again soon so am planning on making some new videos.
Thanks mate, I know would have had quite a bit of brass there as well. I’ve started a new collection of them and will be taking the brass off these this time.
Shame to scrap all those road signs and car skates, could have sold them on and made much more but I know it’s a few quid you didn’t have. See you’ve already answered about the brass valves but you’ll kick yourself in the future when you take a load in and see what you wasted there. Keep it up, every days a school day.
Cheers Marc, ye I know the value of the brass I was just being lazy. I did think of selling the signs on, but they were to much hassle to store if it had have taken a while to sell them. The car skates were knackered so only usually for scrap value they were probably 20/30 years old maybe even more.
Clearly you didn’t see my previous comments, I couldn’t be bothered to take it off as didn’t really have the time and it didn’t really bother me to much but I will be taking the brass off going forward. And not really wasting my time, it’s £100 I didn’t have before.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK,LOVING YOUR SCRAP VIDEOS.
Thanks mate, glad your still enjoying
You work bloody hard fella well done
Thanks Mart, much appreciated
Washer dryers can utilise a condenser for the drying hence the rads and compressor
Yep. It's a heat pump washer/dryer. Those are going to become the norm this decade
Great video mate. Keep up the hard work. 👍
Cheers mate.
Great video
Great video really enjoyed watching you one thing why didnt you remove the brass fittings from the radiators
I was still in my early days of scrapping back the so didn’t realise. I wouldn’t leave all that brass behind now though.
Definitely take the brass of them radiators in future you you get a lot more from them than your radiator load .
Ye, was just being lazy with that load, but defo will next time.
Had a busy video worth it at e d best wishes thanks
Cheers John, thanks for watching

Nice vid mate, it would have been worth taking the brass valves of those radiators
Thanks mate, I know would have had quite a bit of brass there as well. I’ve started a new collection of them and will be taking the brass off these this time.
Oh yes deffo worth taking the brass off top and bottom valves both sides it’s surprising how much it adds up

It certainly is.

I know I was an inexperienced scrapper back then, I’ve since learnt my lesson.
