Looking good Kenny ! We had birds trying to nest a couple of times before the verandah ceilings went up, but nothing since or elsewhere. Maybe because we have more trees around for them to nest in ? Tomorrow (9th) was our contract completion date but it looks like it will be few days late, no big deal. They have caught up a lot, the boss even had them working Sundays. Only the kitchen and touch ups to be painted, now that all the kitchen fittings are in. Foreman put the stove hood so high my wife couldn't reach the controls...take it and try again, this time read the installation manual for heights! Then connect electrics to main and hope everything works! Tractor was out there this morning levelling the piles of dirt, aka hiding all their rubble and rubbish for me to find later ! I'm looking forward to starting on our landscaping.
Congratulations Mike! It's a good feeling when they leave for the last time. I'm going around and picking up rubble about once a week. More exposed every time it rains.
Looking good bro….one thing I would share about tree planting, is to think about access later on by an excavator should you need to dig something up etc….if there’s trees blocking a path you’ll have to dig up a tree…
@@unclecraigbaannawk ill keep that in mind going forward, but I think we are about done for tree planting. Thinking I will drill a spare well near the wall in the rice field, or at least prep the land to do it later.
G'day Kenny and Sompit. Its all looking great. Sit back, relax and watch the snake slither by 🙂. I spend most of my time outside when I'm there, beautiful weather in the evenings.
Looking great, thanks for another video, maybe its time to start think thiking about what kind of lawnmower to buy. I am looking forward to seeing what Franky F Fabricator has planned for the fence.
Careful welding the galvanized material Kenny, even outdoors. I had an experienced welder friend die from metal fume fever and he knew better. Hopefully you already knew this but I always feel compelled to remind people.
Hi Kenny and Sompit Been away for weekend caught up with vids looking good matey Like your our house I will have more living space outside than in and hopefully great big hammock 🤪 Get your grass seed set this time off year to do it not to hot and raining Are you planning on fruit trees and veg plot as you doing irrigatiion etc nows the time to plan Gary Mon and Ruby 🐶
Thanks Gary, Absolutely loving the outdoor living space. I wanted to get the trees in before we put down the grass seed, so the seed is high on the list now. Sompit has all of the pond area for growing her vegs, spices, etc. I have a pond pump out there for watering during the dry season, which give out nutrient (fish poop) rich water. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Kenny, will you be installing water drip feed for all your fox palms and other trees for ease of watering, or you going to shake a hose? Interested in the coming "ground" works. Job well done.
kenny if you put up all the fenc wire you can make up the frames and tack weld them take them off trim up the mesh and reinstall keeping dogs out until job done
Was your rolling door built to a custom size or did you base the width of the entrance to the pump house based on the door width? Do you mind sharing the name of the company that installed that door?
Thanks, Both are in my list of things to try if the spikes do not work. I have seen nearly a 100% reduction in bird activity since I installed the grey spikes.
How are the mosquitoes down there? where I'm at there's no way I'm sitting outside in the evening or you get eaten alive. Maybe all the wind keeps them away? that sounds like the big feature of your area.
We have screens, but no bugs until the lights come on at dark. So, I have started turning on the lights at the front of the house and only light from the TV on the lanai. This keeps most of the bugs at the front of the house and away from us.
@ParadiseNThailand nice. We will start our build in like a year and a half or so in Buriram. Currently in Bang Sare 30 mins south of Pattaya. Getting beach time before Isaan time haha, plus fishing on my boat will make time relaxing

using 1" square tubing for a frame then mesh inside.

Yes, I am aware. Fortunately, I am one second spot welds on a cut edge. Still fumes but minimal. Thanks SAS
The outside furniture looks great - and the trees will make the yard look great
Thannks Tommy,
Looking forward to the trees maturing.

Beautiful piece of land. What do you do about the mosquitoes?
Off Bug Spray, and an abundance of fish in the pond.
I am looking into farming dragon flies for the mosquito 🤔

That's a good idea. I will see what the cut-offs look like, but I think they will be large enough for that.
There aint nobody here but us chickens, now the flying birds have been dealt with....An occasional visiting snake might put in a performance

A trick to scare birds are plastic owls. Or pretend snake's. If owls don't exist in Thailand. Go with snake's. Works on crow's really well 👌
