35028 Clan Line Returns To Mainline With The 50th Anniversary Pullman & 44871. 27/04/24

Saturday 27th April saw two steam locos operating railtours to Bath, in the form of 35028 Clan Line and 44871. With 35028 only being returned to traffic four weeks ago, after an extensive overhaul at Leaky Finders in Cornwall. The loco group pulled out all the stops to get it running in time for the tour. The trip would commemorate 50 years of the loco in preservation. Alongside 35028 was 44871 working the Bath & Gloucester Steam Express operated by Railway Touring Company.
