  • GWR 4073 Class No. 7029 Clun Castle hauling the Great Western Railway (1Z48) Vintage Trains rail charter from Birmingham to Plymouth preceeded by a Class 47, 47773 'The Queen Mother'. This footage captures the moments when they approached and passed Langford Bridge just West of Newton Abbot before tackling Dainton Bank and then on to Totnes and Rattery Bank.
This 60th anniversary tour was split over two days, with 7029 working from Birmingham to Plymouth via Oxford and Bristol on the first day, and then retracing its original allocated route from Plymouth to London Paddington over the second day.
    Thank you for watching.
