I am a bit overwhelmed by the amount of changes I would need to make to get to your workflow, but I have to say, the things you do are all actions I wish I had started applying from the beginning of my composing journey. Something helpful when you get new actions and shortcuts is to just put them in a custom toolbar, so that you can see them in a glance and be reminded they exist (and also see the keyboard shortcuts).

But a question is: how/where can I specify icons to be displayed in front of each folder? Maybe it is a Mac only feature?

I haven't finished watching so apologies if it's covered later, but for selecting patterns, try using the Filter (default is press F).
Then select a note in a measure, and im the filter tell it what pattern you want selected. You can then e.g. copy/cut/delete those or give them a consistent velocity.

Im going to try out the mouse wheel for vel, checker deselect, the custom action sequence for toggle drum view vs melodic view, and last and most significant the single click to enter a note! Been annoyed by having to drag a little bit to enter a note for about a year, keen to try out not having to deal with that.

ooooo yesss!! - the toggle drum view is my favorite. Having a super focused view of just my drums without the unnecessary extra notes is super helpful!

Ok. About routing. Are virtual channels 3-4 unique for each sidechain when assigning a sidechain, or are they the same for the entire project? If I send a sidechain from kick to bass to channels 3-4, then the sidechain from lead to pad should go to channels 5-6? Or is it also possible for 3-4? If I send a lead to 3-4 too, will it affect the bass? Thanks!

I personally use keyboard shortcuts to up/down velocity and divisions ... saves soooo much time
how do you separate the hits into individual tracks?
like if you want pitched high hats. or pitched kick drums.
or just individual processing for each hit
