I just did this and showed it to my wife. Her reactions went from "Oh cool, you made a braid." "Wait, it's all one piece..." "HOW DID YOU DO THIS WITCH CRAFT!!!!!!"
Best, clearest instructions I’ve found so far for making one. Thanks!
You have made this way less mind-boggling and way simpler to understand, thanks.
Glad I could help!😁
That was the best video I have seen, I had it in a minute... the other videos were not working for me.. Thank you so much!!
Oh my god, the ideas! I can add this to my armor. Oh the ideas!
Thank you! Finally I found a straight forward explanation to this 😄
OOH! something I think even me with my clumsy ass could do! :P Really cool bracelet and I may actually test that sometime! :D
It seems impossible, but I just watched you do it. Very cool technique.
Imagine putting something in the weave, like a jewel or a watchface
Nice, i always thought these things were glued 😅
Wish you hadn't sped up the last round cause that's where I'm losing it
Such a cool tutorial, amazing how something so simple can yield such great results
Of all the tutorials this was the easiest to understand
The best tutorial I have seen so far on the mystery braid! Thank you for posting.
Is there a video on making this closure?
This is certainly one of the better tutorials for this pattern that I've seen. Great job, and great video
Please share how to make the fastener ends
Very cool skill! Thanks :D i was wondering about how that works.
Nice.Thanks.
Nice! I want to make two long and wide sections then sew it on as a backpack straps.
interesting
Tank you so much, I have been trying to do this for a long time. Now it make a lot of more sense
Meep
Very cool! Love the fastener you used for it. That dye really helps it all pop out and feel distinguished.
Hey Clvr, is there a way to donate through PayPal or something? I'm not sure about a monthly thing but a one time donation option would be nice...
Made one just now as part of my first leather projects to see if leathercrafting is something for me and i think its cool. Simple and yet some waht mind boggling.
Thanks so much for that awesome technique ❤️
yap, easypeasy walkin through it with you brother!! neat-o!
this is a great project for any beginner leatherworking who wants to earn a few bucks on the side to fund his leather crafting. Quick, simple and cheap.
GREAT tutorial! Thank you!
Going to do this with some old leather I have lying around made a set of moccasins out of it but it's too thin but they worked well enough
Hmmmm.... wondering where you'll use it in your Corrupted Armor. This will be unique and fun!
(Edited for fat finger syndrome)
It could be used as straps to hold armor together, or even make a belt like that with frill at the end. Oh the ideas!
Would love to see more info on the closure used. Is it in another tutorial?
I will be making one of these this week! Good stuff as always.
Nice! I am so glad I suggested this...
Love the simple makes!
Another new skill, well done.
Nice
My first leatherworking project ever were 4 mystery braid bracelets.
Not having any dyes or hardware yet, I colored some by using baking soda and developed a closure somewhat similar to yours. 2 years later and I'm still using the one I kept for myself on a daily basis! 😁
