Thank you sir 😊
Sir, Is there any enzyme which is responsible for parent strand methylation and which is the base between them particularly methylated ?
Sir I think DNA Pol 1 is used instead of DNA Pol 3
Pol 3 is main polymerase. Pol1 is for proof reading...
Thank you so much sir
♥️
Best explanation sir ....
All the best for exam!
Sir very very thank you this is very easy to learn ❤❤
Most welcome 😃
How do we know that the original error is on which strand?
original error is always on the newly synthesized strand as parent strand alread had its proof reading post replication
@@DrArindamGhoshBiochemistry thanks for replying
Hi Dr Ghosh, I have a question: What if the GATC sequence is very far away, wouldn't it 'waste' a lot of energy to reform that whole new segment? Thanks!
you are absolutely right if that is the situation. But the genome is designed in such a way that there are GATC sequence in every few checkpoints 😬 so that issue is taken care..
@@DrArindamGhoshBiochemistry Thanks for getting back to me and thank you for making this topic so much more interesting!
Most welcome 😃
@Dr.Arindam Ghosh Hi can you please tell me urgently how gene mutations in DNA mismatch repair arise ? and what are the genes ? Please and if you can can you reccomemdn a diagram.

Ber also removes the mismatched bases then whats the difference in proceduere ?
Mechanism are different and MMR only removes the specific mismatch ones. This removes few upstream and downstream ones and is a more radical method.
Thank you soo much sir
Most welcome
@@DrArindamGhoshBiochemistry doctor are all of the proteins come from dna or are formed whenever is needed like dna is damaged the body gets a signal and then they would form the proteins does the proteins come from stored in the dna or from other parts if the body?
