As someone who is trying to get a Primus cover band off the ground your videos have been godsend for me. Thank you for taking the time to do these lessons so in depth. You’ve helped me massively for the songs I haven’t been able to learn by ear yet. I’m in the process of learning Nutbutter and Frizzle Fry thanks to you.
Dude your a life saver, I’ve been binge watching your tutorials lmao, your teaching these so well and I really appreciate being able to know all these awesome primus songs on my bass, one love man, fish on!
Hey, I know I'm a little late, but could you do a lesson on El Sobrante Fortnight By Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel? it's one of my favorite Les Claypool side project songs.
I did attend a show of the Farewell Tour. I got hella pumped when they started playing The Antipop (which is now on my list). I must say, was not expecting Captain Shiner to make an appearance during Cygnus.
@@ShaakTisElectricKoolAid What show did you see? I was at the San Diego gig, we were blessed with Knowitall, Beef, and Bob. They played Last Salmon Man too (Favorite track off Green Naugahyde.) BTW thank you sooo0o0o0o fucking much for the Southbound video! My band next gig we plan to do it again with the company of Puppies, and Antipop(I can't wait for you to post that so I can start learning lol)
@@ShaakTisElectricKoolAid Jilly is a great song, so amazing! I prefer it live too! I just watched you cover Frizzle, you are a fantastic bassist! When do plan on covering Antipop?
It's basically the same as just strumming with your index and middle finger like you would normally, but you're also adding your ring finger into the mix.
So when you're playing normal, fingerstyle bass, hit a note with your ring finger, then middle, then index, in a quick 1-2-3 rolling motion. The Toys Go Winding Down is a great song to practice triplets to.

No problem, thank you for the kind words. Best of luck finding people who can play Herb and Ler parts!
