We just had a storm named Marty last year, not this year, but Fiona is going to smash into Puerto Rico right now. Florida’s been gone through hurricanes before, Charley, Ivan, Dennis, Jeanne, Matthew, Irma, Michael, Dorian.
It looks like you got back to the hotel just in time! Great footage and commentary, thank you, Josh. The nighttime chases are pretty spectacular when the lights stay on!
That concern about Ixtapa not being ready, breaks my heart. it still amazes me how we fail to act on time. Same thing with Grace in the Veracruz landfall, I know we don’t know exactly where it will hit, but we should get prepared anyways. We do this every year, we should know better
I recognised the place you said from Shawshank Redemption. I thought it was fictitious. I never fact checked it. Thank you for validating that. Amazing footage as I would expect from your channel. Just mind blowing the power these storms command.
There’s a tropical disturbance about to enter the pacific, I’d say it’s not quite over yet. And although unlikely, something could happen in the Atlantic, the Caribbean still has very favorable conditions.
Great video, mate! I'm from Lazaro Cardenas Michoacan, downtown there it knocked out dozens of trees, an avenue next to my home used to have lots of big trees, it was a wonderful sight and very calm to take a walk in such neighborhood. But after this hurricane it became barren, all the big majestic trees were wipeout just the palms and one giant Parota tree were able to withstand those winds. It had been several years since the last mayor hurricane hit that city.
Hey, Cesar! Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked the video! I am very sorry to hear about your street-- that makes me sad to hear. Ixtapa lost many trees also. Many, many trees.
Great video Josh. I love the stuff you put out and envvious of the job you do. The adrenaline rushes must be amazing? Respect. You are a very brave guy. Keep going and we'll keep watching!
Pozdravuji do USA! 👍🇨🇿➕🇺🇸✌
Your welcome. It’s always a treat when you post your videos. And yes they are ALWAYS amazing. Be safe and enjoy the off season. We need you back on TV. Another show maybe????
Now that is some good news. I look forward to hearing about it from you. We visited Panama City one year after Micheal and was so broken up by the damage. After watching your show I definitely see why. Keep up the great job.
Wow Josh amazing footage but it would have been even better 12 hours later. Seriously it was gorgeous footage. I thought to myself what if I speed up the video 2x and it really looked like Cat-3 winds maybe even cat-4. I also tried that on Dorian and Maria but on KAMMURI you really get that affect. Sorry for being a chatterbox I just really loved the footage from Rick. And I think you should upload Jebi

Yeah it sure did rake Ixtapa hard, but it really didnt look quite as strong as other 105 mph storms did in your videos, notably Sally and Delta (delta in cancun).

Very good video. The sound of the wind is so insane and it's ''just'' a category 2 hurricane.
So happy when you post a new video! Please be careful out there, your safety is most important.
