My golden retriever cross has always had joints that click whenever she climbs onto the couch, gets up from lying down or when she goes to lay down. We’ve noticed some back discomfort but nothing that has been really obvious or affected her mobility/play. I’m wondering what causes this and if it’s a problem?
She is now whimpering when trying to get up onto the couch or bed and sometimes when she lies down or stands up… it started today so I’m not sure what to do… does the clicking indicate a underlying issue and warrants going to the vet immediately should I wait a few days to see if it gets better?
I am struggling financially at the moment, and I will of course pay for X-rays if necessary but yeah I just need some advice please.
I can’t find any info or videos on dogs with clicky joints so I’m hoping you can help!
    Thank you in advance!
