Im adding this while he is trying to open the pickles. From my years in food service i want to give a piece of advice when it comes to hard to open jars. Tap the jar on the edge of a counter or some other hard surface, just once around each side of the lid with mild force until you go all the way around then open it. Don't be too gentle about it just don't obviously break the jar. If it doesn't open go again however its always come off in one go for me.

my brother went to a treatment in utah similar to one Danielle went to and it kept getting extended until it was 9 months n he was honestly worse after, he relapsed almost immediately but didn’t tell anyone until he almost died from overdosing. In the treatment it’s basically the same as jail and there’s kids who went in there for smaller reasons but will stay there until they turn 18 depending on their behavior/parents. Like my brother was struggling with addiction and began to get violent but the workers didn’t help him in the long run at all.

Quick tip: if ur opening any type of jar, use a rubber band and put it around the lid. It gives u a better grip than latex gloves and it's faster to use
