U.N. Owen Was Her? (Undefined Fantastic Object Style)

First of all, i wish you happy holidays and a happy new year!
U.N. Owen Was Her was the song that got me into Touhou in the first place, so i have always loved the song a lot, and it's true that there are a lot of arranges of it already, but i felt like i could bring something new to the table by playing around with what the song could be molded into, just like i did in 2018 for Cirno's theme for Cirno Day, i wanted to experiment with how Flandre's theme could be changed to be new and fresh, yet while still being recogniseable and familiar, so i wanted to aim for a Touhou 12-ish inspired style, focussing on some of my favourite elements from that game's music, such as the jazz elements like the progressive time signatures, abundance of key changes, and a bigger emphasis on instruments like the hybrid saw and reed romance on the SD-90, in a way, the saw waves here serves kind of like a replacement for Flandre's usual square waves, which is a bit of a metaphor for the arrange as a whole; a new and different take on Flandre's theme, but also trying to respect the nostalgia and uniqueness of what made UFO's music feel fun and memorable.
There are a lot of references and leitmotifs hidden thorough the arrange, can you find them all?

this kinda feels like zun's remix of necrofantasia for th15.5 - a familiar theme, but differs a lot from the original to have a completely different vibe.
There's even a bit of resemblance to a tiny tiny clever commander right after the insane piano part at around 2:11
I can't speak English, so it's frustrating to have to talk about this work through a translator.

Wow, just wow, I loved this, more for the use of the Touhou 12 songs than because of Un owen (im a huge UFO fan), you added them so well, like the Sealed cloud route part alone could make for a "Kogasa phantasm boss" or something like that, its just amazing

I stumbled into your remix by chance, and since I've always loved the song I decided to give it a listen. Great work! I love it! It's a perfect encapsulation of TH12's soundtrack's amazing style.
The first time I listened to the arrangement I thought many different parts of it felt really familiar; I then read your description, and had a hearty laugh. That explained why the beginning sounded a lot like Stage 5's theme.
I'm not too familiar with 12's tracks, but I think I recognised the beginning of stage 2's motiv around the 40s mark. I'll be sure to come back after playing UFO some more to find out all the other references I missed. Really great job, keep it up!!

I don't understand how people create crazy piano runs like you did at 1:10, every time I've tried to make one it just doesn't come out right. What is the method to the madness yall use that makes it sound so nice?
The secret trick is to enable ghost notes in your DAW
For example in FL Studio, press alt+v in the piano roll view, then, it will be much easier to see which chord/scale you are currently in, this makes piano spam, and particularly arpeggio's, a lot easier and faster to do. You can also check out the link to the VOD in the description, you can see how i made the piano spam/solo there
