I got to tell you - the basement is coming along nicely. It is super clean and will be a decent starting point for your Nerd-Cave. Are you planning on keeping the walls white? White looks too "virginal" for you. Ahahahahaha. Although it may appear there is a lot of work to do, it will steam roll on you and before you know it, the basement is EXACTLY how you want it to be. Keep it up m'man.
I really wanted to paint it while I can, but between the lack of time (not to mention the $, only the bathroom went through insurance) I gave up on the idea. Considering most of the walls will be covered again, figured it wasn't worth the hassle. My new shelves and media center start arriving tomorrow, so hopefully I can make a dent this weekend.
It's hard to hear that sadness in your voice, man. I can only try to imagine what it feels like to go through that. Hopefully in the not too distant future the sadness with be nothing but a fading memory. Thanks for the update. It's good to see at least everything was able to be repaired.
Yeah, that video was from last week, they messed some stuff up and had to redo a bunch of stuff on all three floors, but they supposedly finished today, I still have to go inspect to make sure LOL. You and Jay are always right on time! Feelin tha love!
