Never thought I'd see the day we are all caught up, now we have to suffer together til season 7 comes out. This was the first season I actually watched week to week and it was a hell of a season to start with, so much tension. Thanks for the journey through MHA all over again with you guys.
Stain’s speech speaks volumes about his view of heroes. Just because you’re retired or don’t have the strength of a hero, that doesn’t make you weak, there are ways you can help without having quirks 💯
I mean, if you think about it, he is like Lady naget and Hawks. Obviously, they were hired by the government but he is just a way more extreme version of them. He believes in the hero world he just took it upon himself to fix it. He was never aligned with the villains. The villains took his words and stretched it to an extremist route to fit their values
Stain was never anti-hero. He's anti-hero society. So it's only natural that Stain wouldn't like a villain society. Heroes should be heroic without the want, expectation, or need for money/fame. That was the point Stain was trying to get across.
Actually stain is supporting the heroes because that info is vital to their victory in the next battles. He could have just spoken to all might and not given that info but he chose to help because stain does care about society, more than some of the heroes. The only reason hes a "bad guy" is because he kills heroes. But think nagant killed civillians and heroes even if she was forced to she still even killed the heroe commision leader, but are we not condeming her?
*This season has been an emotional roller coaster if I’m being honest. So it’s nice to have a more uplifting and hopeful note to end things off on. At least until next season where everything gets dark again.*
I like how the police officer looks exhausted. It’s a nice touch. Excited to see next season but bummed there’s going to be a wait. Oh well. Hopefully it’ll be like Attack on Titan where the final season has extra episodes. This is the sort of anime that could have gone for 500 episodes but do we really want half of the episodes to be filler like Naruto or Bleach? Once they’re done with the main show, maybe they’ll adapt MHA: Vigilantes. It’s really good and there’s a lot of Aizawa and Midnight. Finally I hope the Hollywood strike doesn’t disrupt the English dubbing. Not sure if the voice actors are on strike too (the Japanese language actors are definitely not on strike).
I’m happy that this season ended on upbeat and hopeful note, but I sense hardship on the horizon for our young heroes. But they have showed enough resilience for me to have the absolute faith in them
Of course America gets the more interesting number one hero! 😅 In all seriousness, these kids deserve a good rest after what this season put them through.
The rest of the world: Star, you can't just head off on your own. We need to wait for the paperwork. Star, halfway across the ocean to Japan: Waiting around isn't the American way I can't believe we get to see some of this animated. Really feels like yesterday that this was in the manga. Anyway, onto the episode. All Might has been pretty down on himself ever since he retired because he feels useless if he can't help people. Like how Izuku feels. "Don't be the useless Deku who can't save anyone". Both All Might and Izuku have been limiting their importance to their quirks. They think that they're not worth anything without them. But Iida reminded Izuku that he is worth something. Bakugo reminded him that he's always been something. And Ochako reminded the public that he's just a kid. Even if he is a hero. Stain has been watching All Might and Izuku for a while. Obviously he knows that it's All Might. But he gives him a reminder. All Might was a hero because of his spirit. Because of his conviction. People saw his smile and became reassured that everything was okay. It wasn't because of his power that All Might was an amazing hero. It was because of the ideals that he passed on to everyone else. Those embers that All Might left behind carried on to the new generation and creates a path forward. Like One For All. Stain made All Might see his purpose and worth. He gave him a reason to keep going and available information on Shigaraki and All For One. How ironic. The guy called the Hero Killer might've just helped save hero society. Little side note, I love how Bakugo is trying to call Izuku by Izuku name and Izuku reassures him that it's okay if he calls him Deku. It's like All Might said. Even if Bakugo thinks he has something to atone for, Izuku has never felt that way. Onto Star and Stripe. I can't go into much detail because we haven't seen much. All I'll say is that the hype I felt seeing her is unimaginable. Have fun thinking about what her quirk could be. The final thing I'll talk about is Tomura. We thought we had about two months left. Then some time passed and we thought we had a little over a month. But in actuality, we have about three days until the body is complete. We also got a glimpse of his new outfit. A formal suit and what looks to be a tattered cape. It's a mix of both Tomura and All For One. The suit is obviously All For One. But the cape is letting the audience know that no matter how much AFO tries to suppress him, Tomura is still fighting against him. He's still in there. Over a month later. Which makes sense. Tomura fought against Gigantomachia for about two months and didn't give up either. Our boy isn't giving up his body without a fight. I still think AFO trying to take over the body of the boy who literally revived himself out of pure hatred was not a very bright move. But only time will tell. Onto the 7th season. Plus Ultra.
Very very proud of you ladies for catching up on MHA. I very much enjoyed going this lengthy but joyous run with y’all. I can’t wait for the next season with you marvelous ladies.

I'm really annoyed when people just think about Stain like a j*rk villain. He is an idealist. And this is take us back when All Might just get realized by Izuku back in EP2 of 1st SS when Izuku's mindset and action made All Might came to realization of what hero really is. Now, when All Might has no power, again, he saved by Stain just like when Izuku did to him. And as Stain said many times, he doing it for greater good of hero society, and he knew from the beginning that what he did was wrong, that's why he said to All Might to come to "end" him after hero society got reform.

As for how he knows the woman was the last person saved the only possible explanation for that is him seeing on the news from that helicopter that was there. As for him saying he’s not the real All Might you might be taking that to literal. He meant that he’s not acting as the All Might he knows. Just because his body is shriveled up doesn’t mean his character has to be.

I'm really intrigued about S7! S6 overall I think was decent. Absolutely a letdown compared to earlier seasons, but DEFINITELY, definitely a massive upgrade from S5 and it had some great moments as well. Seeing how you are now finished - odds on filling the spot with Tower Of God?
lets just say this, the last third of season six was the first quarter of the final arc, that quarter is basically build up and loose ends will be tied up, theres some real bangers

I hope they manage to do the visuals even just a bit of justice - which is something that definitely has been neglected over the past couple of seasons
