Stain really is a clever, resourceful SOB. In the spin-off manga he assassinates a group of criminals by keeping band-aids covered with each of their bloods along his arm, so he could just lick all of them with one sweep, stunning all of them at once.
What a finale.
Now if only Season 7 could arrive on the scene as fast as Ingenium!

I can’t believe season 6. It surpassed nearly every expectation I had. I can barely even nitpick this season. After 3 set up arcs last season to come flying at us like this, I think I’m going to appreciate season 5 a bit more now too because how well this season did.
Alright let’s start with Hero Killer Stain. What a speech that was. Basically to those confused, Stain sees Toshinori Yagi. The god he was has fallen. And he wanted to show the god hadn’t fallen from the loss of OFA usage, but from him not trying to be the inspirational force he was anymore. Showing the woman cleaning his statue was a GREAT touch that even if he wasn’t TRYING to be inspirational doesn’t mean his inspiration isn’t world renown. And to top it off, he basically gives All-Might a fan letter with the information. And it may just completely inspire some of his fire to come back. (Drive. His body needs to be rewound so he has organs again for actual action.)
Now I DO wish Izuku still had dark circles under his eyes. A month of not sleeping or eating properly wouldn’t go away so fast, bath or no. But I was entertained to just watch all the guys in the class grab Izuku and scream BATH, NOW, GET IN. And they all learned fast from Uraraka’s speech too. Treat him like a person. Not a god.
But I once again, need to bring up Bakugo. I mentioned 2 episodes ago Izuku noticeably did NOT forgive Bakugo. And…that extends here. Bakugo stops himself from saying Deku, and calls him Izuku again. But then Izuku STOPS him and says you don’t have to call my name if it’s impossible, you can still call me Deku. THAT line is proof while he appreciates the effort, 1 apology doesn’t undo YEARS of bullying. Especially as bad as it was. And that has PERSISTED in some way shape or form across MHA even after Bakugo learns what OFA is in season 3. Not as intense but still there. When he says that, Izuku is basically saying if giving me worth in your head is so hard, don’t bother. When he says you can still call me Deku, that is ALLOWING Bakugo to go back to calling him worthless. The fact he struggles to say Izuku is proof he struggles accepting it all even with the speech. It’s not that it’s impossible for Izuku and Bakugo to ACTUALLY become friends instead of training and battle teammates. But from here on out it’s all on Bakugo to make it happen. That apology opened the WAY to become friends. But I still can’t even look at them as that. Bakugo knows Izuku’s resolve and mission well. But he actually doesn’t know Izuku very well OUTSIDE of his hero ambitions. And that’s why Iida and Uraraka are his ACTUAL friends because they know and understand the rest of him. They’ll likely end as genuine friends in the end of the story, but people REALLY gotta remember how screwed up their relationship was for SO long. Making friends with a dedicated bully is REALLY hard to do. And while I succeeded 3 times, it was a LONG and battered road. I’m not projecting, this is where the aim of the story appears to be pointing. It’s a story long arc that will only be completed at the end. (Also worth noting before anyone says anything, just because they aren’t friends doesn’t mean they don’t inspire each other and are in some way shape or form dear to each other. Which they DEFINITELY are. Just not at ALL in the way everyone assumes because Goku and Vegeta or Sasuke and Naruto exist.)
Alright, now we got All-Might talking about his vestige. This is my LAST note of OFA before next season. For those of you wondering why I’m so freaking certain All-Might actually DOES retain OFA at its prime, this is another note. We get the explanation All-Might’s OFA communication is 1-way. And VERY limited 2-way communication now. That’s not possible without a 2nd source. The part All-Might gave to Izuku is separate from everything All-Might has become since season 3. For there to STILL be communication season 5 to now, there HAS to still be a method for the mind to communicate to what was expelled. And nothing makes sense BUT stockpile energy he can’t use. And again, the design choice of the flaming vestige when OFA is always called a raging inferno is a VERY telling design choice. I’m really happy they addressed Izuku was actually out during the rogue arc for a month while Stain looked for a good time to speak to All-Might. Because that means the chances of Izuku still being 45% control is VERY unlikely since the kid can freaking double his power over the matter of a week. (I know 8% to 20% is pretty different from 45% to around 90%, but let’s be honest and say being around that level of control…say 75% minimum is just REALLY necessary to battle AFS.) Also while I’m happy Izuku and All-Might reconciled, because All-Might IS best dad. Breaking free of that man’s teachings won’t be easy and I hope All-Might gives Izuku some much more sound advice in what’s to come.
Speaking of AFS, if you are confused by the information we got about AFS being READY, don’t worry, literally everyone is meant to be. They don’t know if it’s 2 months, a month and a half, or 3 days, but they have to treat it like it’s 3 DAYS so Izuku isn’t just BUM RUSHED while he’s resting. And they know it’s in AFO’s nature to release a bunch of red herrings regarding it. Because he’s trying to confuse everything as he goes.
I love that Uraraka didn’t even flinch at Izuku waking up from a night terror. (These two’s care for each other truly is next level.) The kids know the only way out of this is to just harness what makes them all a family. (Jiro hugging Kaminari with her chord is precious now that we know about the 2 of them.) And it’s the power of friendship! But if there’s something MHA has taught us, this isn’t the moral support is all I need, it is they ACTUALLY are a team. And I’d love it if this story ends with Class A just refusing to be separated and they just call themselves the Symbol of Peace as a whole group. I feel like they ALL earned it.
Finally, we have the American #1 hero. And what a BEAST of a woman she is. Star and Stripes. Just standing ON TOP of a high speed jet plane. So she’s just chilling at….anywhere between Mach 2 and Mach 10. (And considering her position, we REALLY gotta high ball her. She’s standing still at Mach 10.) XD flipping off her country’s process system for her action to go save All-Might specifically. And I can’t quite put my finger on where she’s from. She’s the #1 American hero, but can we be CERTAIN she’s from America? We also got LOTS of other foreign heroes gearing up. If the 1st war of MHA is Infinity War, we all know what comes next is Endgame.
Season 7 is going to be fantastic. And we are going to have a BLAST. I’m not ENTIRELY certain if season 7 really is MHA’s finale season, but if it’s not, Season 7 and 8 will likely be treated as single season.
Right? Season 6 was so freaking good. It surpassed my every expectation. I HATED season 5, so it's really nice to have a legitimate great season again. My personal season ranking is

@@edquad2765 I agree to a certain extent. Season 5 was weaker without question but it was STILL great. For me. The problem wasn’t the season, the problem was mainly the manga having 3 setup arcs in a row. The BIGGEST mistake was the Uraraka filler episode. Worst episode in MHA. They wanted the 3rd movie tie in, but they didn’t do ENOUGH to justify it. I wish it was like a stain arc episode and actually go in-depth on every work study in small snippets to get us more into the heroes we saw fighting in the war like say Majestic. It would justify SOME of the loss of MVA. Which they thank goodness fixed some of this season.
The arc switch was ultimately undamaging to the narrative. And I still think they did a lot of cool stuff throughout the season I was happy to see.

Season 1 sadly I felt was just not enough demonstration on just how much personality the background is which this show is KNOWN for now. It does a great job developing the 4 main students (which became 5 later with Todoroki) and Aizawa. But it lacks personality now because there’s no internal monologue and it’s just…very Pokémon feeling. Which IMMEDIATELY went out the window once USJ got off the ground and punished the kids for doing so.
Man people really salty about a arc switch no wonder the community has such a toxic reputation.
@@samuelclayhills3298 and it was harmless! MHA’s fandom is notorious for a reason. But I know how to separate them and how to talk to the non toxic folks. Talk to the theorizers and analyzers and it’s almost always a good time. The haters basically come down to people thinking this is DBZ in disguise. And hate deviations to dynamics from it. Like Deku not fighting 24/7 like Goku and things like that. I don’t even call them MHA haters anymore. They are just UNDYING DBZ fanboys.
Nice to see that these kids are getting some much needed rest. They deserve it after what this season put them through. And of course America gets the more interesting number one hero. 😅
It does seem like Stain knew that Toshinori was All Might before their conversation. I can't think of any other reason why he was tracking him like that and he might of heard Deku call him All Might while shadowing him. Although it is clear he isn't to happy about how things turned out.
He must have since he left the info with him and he was only going to do that with All Might I assume. He was just being like "yo are you him or not because you sure ain't acting like it? Pull yourself together!" 😂

how ridiculous the situation is. He could have knocked, be allowed in, and apoligize like a "normal" person. Well... I guess we need that comic relief after all the hard times previously. 🤣🤣🤣
I should of guessed you would love Star and Stripe. Like Big Red Dot and Salaam you first saw her in one of the movies, just not the third. I'm looking forward to seeing her in action. It is funny how much you guessed about her.

The All Might and Stain talk was great, even if I wasn't expecting you to have such an emotional reaction to it.
You put it into great words of why All Might can still be a hero and help even after losing OFA.
It makes sense for the talk to happen at the All Might statue. The place where All Might took down AFO in Kamino. The last place that Toshinori considered himself the hero All Might, before passing on the burden to Midoriya. But that''s why it's also a great place for him to remember why he became a hero and what he became a hero for. And that just because he doesn't have a Quirk anymore, doesn't mean he still isn't capable for fighting like a hero still.
I also think that Stain was a great person to remind Toshinori of all of this, and what All Might the hero stood for. Stain admires All Might greatly, so he needs to be the one to remind Toshinori of All Might the greatest hero when All Might was feeling like a failure since he didn't prevent anything from happening. But I love that Stain was the one to act as the spark, and that seeing the woman (her name's Moko) coming out to clean the statue of the hero who saved her was such a good way to show the themes and ways that All Might has continued to inspire goodness in other people. Moko stayed in Kamino, even when there are likely places safer for her, because she wants to continue taking care of All Might's statue to show her gratitude for the man who saved her life.
15:00 ... In the very FIRST movie, when he saves that family in the opening sequence in their car, and he still has white eyeballs? Star and Stripe's the girl in the backseat with glasses, Kathleen Bates.
I always had a feeling Stain wasn't fully bad. Even in his first appearance there was hints.

I can only hope a certain person/fight gets animated really well (now that I think of it, two people/one specific panel) but aaaaaaaaargh I could scream just thinking about everything, I am so HYPED

But seriously, this has been a fantastic season! I've enjoyed getting to see your reactions all the way through :) I would say, I don't think it's too plot-McGuffin for the last person All Might saved to be cleaning his statue daily since she obviously lived in/near Kamino to begin with, so naturally she would go to a shelter in Kamino (the statue was erected in Kamino right where All Might and AFO fought).

The meeting with Stain was kinda worrisome in the manga. Remember NightEye predicted that All Might would have a gruesome death at the hands of a villain. Deku proved that he could change the outcome of those predictions but it’s still possible for what NightEye saw to come true and the time frame for when that could happen lines up with about where the story is now.

Stain is fanatic towards All Might. Like Midoriya, he to sees him as an untouchable god. He saw him as the pinnacle of what it ment to be a hero. In comparison to other pros, they were corrupted fascists in costumes and masks to him.
In truth, he wanted to see a society where it's champions embodied the words hero and Justice. Which why he was culling heroes in season 2. Like how a gardener plucks the weeds beneath certain flower beds. He views himself as the necessary evil.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Star and Stripe is in love with All Might.

I was totally expecting a Stain face-turn. His whole thing was that heroes were in it for the money and the fame, and he wanted to change that, to remove fake heroes and leave only the true heroes. Now all the heroes still fighting are doing it because it’s the right thing to do. They’re making no money and the public is healing scorn on them, so there’s no glory either. These are the heroes Stain dreamed of.

Yeah Mineta is a pretty solid character when he isn’t being a pervert, which was 80% of the time before Mina brainwashed him. Now that the pervert shtick seems to be gone (hopefully for good) I actually kinda like him lol

I honestly expected Stain to harm All Might but thank god he didn’t. Season 6 was an amazing season it was not playing around like season 5 truly was the calm before the storm season like all the deaths and emotions I felt for this season were just wow. I can’t wait for season 7 to see what this new hero can do.
