I used to use Ms.Jessies Curly Pudding (the purple stuff). Expensive yes, but it worked with blending my 4a hair with my curly weaving hair. It didn't leave any gunk on the weaving hair and gave my own hair all day hold, I mean til mid night hold. I also used wrap strips to help hold down went under the dryer for 5-8 mins and bam. Done. Salon finish every time.
