Fort Lauderdale is only a little over 30 minutes from Miami, not an hour. If you’re not renting a car, a cheaper way to get from FLL to Miami is to take the bright line train for less than $20. Uber/Lyft in Miami has the option to choose a shared ride, so if you don’t mind sharing your ride with a stranger or two it’s much cheaper than standard fare. Staying in hotels or air bnbs on the mainland instead of Miami Beach also tends to be a little cheaper.
The US in general is more expensive (compared to Europe), Even the most basic products in the grocery store (if you are considering not going to restaurants as a budget option). So Miami is a very good place to spend money and we just have to accept it or choose different destinations 🙂
I'm coming down for a week vacation in late April. I have 8 restaurants that I would love to try while down there(El Pub in Little Havana is one of them). I'll be flying into & out of Ft. Lauderdale, but I'll take the Brightline train to Miami on the 2nd day & a bus from Aventura on the last day. I'm staying in a motel on Biscayne Blvd to save money, but I'll be taking advantage of MetroBus, Metrorail, & Metromover when getting around. I also hope for at least 3 sunny warm days to enjoy the beach. April can't get here soon enough.
I haven’t seen any videos about bus/train metro. Is it free for non-Miami residents?? We’re going in a few days also from ft Lauderdale and want to visit Miami!?
citizenM (Worldtrade) and Yotel Miami are decent hotels that are centrally located. Usually around $100 a night. CitizenM includes a welcome drink for each adult too.
What airlines would you recommend for those travelling on a budget? We have always found Jet Blue and Scoot to offer the cheapest prices around the US compared to other US airlines but if you have suggestions, we would love to know!
CreativeTravelGuide- Spirit, Frontier, and Southwest are the cheapest airlines in the US. Maybe Jet Blue has a different price point in other parts of the world but it's among the more expensive airlines in the US.
Hi thanks for this nice video. We live in Norway and we would like to go to Miami in July for 2 weeks. we are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. Could you recommend some areas that are safe and not too expensive we can stay?
Mid Beach and North Beach are good for families. It's beachfront and a short walk from South Beach where all the action is. I hope you enjoyed your holiday.
The recommended hotels are above the clubs and there is no chance of falling asleep at night! I do not recommend these hotels and this entire street for renting hotels

Should you make hotel reservations in advance? How likely are you to find a hotel room on the spot in August in miami?
Thanks for the tips
Going in November:) thanks for video
How was it?

Stick to the beach fronts for a good mix of places to eat and things to do

My Dream One Day This Video like I want to visit

Miami used to be an affordable place to visit
Congratulations 👏
No need to go to Miami.. ALL i need to do is to wait for 2025 and buy GTA 6 😁😁😁
if u dont have money dont go to Miami , dont go anywhere just sit at home
hehehe 🤣👌
Im so lo on budget, I don’t even got a home
If you feel this way why are you looking at this video. 🙃
Not true. Travel often and love harder
Ocean Drive and Lincoln Drive are the most expensive streets to eat. If you don't have at least $1,500 for a couple, don't go there
