I shouldn't be surprised that you didn't know about the public transit system. But you really don't need an Uber or a car on general to go to these areas. Only reason to take an Uber is if it's raining, you leave last minute or it's past midnight when the system closes.
I should add that, from both the Fort Lauderdale & Miami airports you have Bus & Rail connections. All the touristy areas are well serviced by public transit. With the only area not serviced being the Everglades. However that isn't a problem as tours leave from Bayside marketplace.
@@omgitsnishaaa There are multiple bus routes that go to Miami Beach. The 14, 15, 20, 36, 79, 100, 125 and 150 all provide regular service through out Miami Beach connecting it to the mainland. Those are just the regular buses. Does not include the free trolleys provided by Miami Beach or the rush hour express buses. Frequencies are also good with most routes coming atleast every 15 minutes with the 100 coming every 7 to 8 minutes.
