I have a slightly different opinion about tilling. Some soils are simply deficient in nutrients and organic material to maintain a healthy network of soil bacteria and fungi, so tilling material into the soil is a "necessary evil" in order to get everything started and established. Once there is a healthy mycelium colony established, tilling is probably more destructive than helpful to the soil.
Love your insight, thanks for sharing. Yes, sometimes the soil is so bad you have no choice. A broadfork or turning soil over with a shovel are always alternatives to incorporate organic material into the soil, but it’s a lot more work 😮💨

I'm interested in fungi that prey on root knot nematodes. Any suggestions?

I love Fungi even if you Americans pronounce it differently lol
Why would anyone hate mushrooms in their garden?
