Cut back before 4th of July to make more compact. Root those clippings to double the plants.
Nice, they'll be ready for next sprint, in about 6 months.

Rooting hormone is good for a couple years if stored in a cool dry place. A little goes a long way so make sure to tap off the excess when rooting.
When is a good time to do this? Someone just gave me some cuttings and I want to propagate them.
