I'm 47 and grew up right down the road from there. Used to be a lot more building there lion , tiger cages, train cars and a complete bus. My mom said she used to be able to hear the tigers and lions coming from there. Remind me of childhood ,love this thanks.
So my best friend lives on a property that borders the abandoned part, and no joke she has lived there for more than 10 years. A couple of months ago her property caught on fire due to some kids being back near the circus area and that is how she found out that she lives on the border of a veritable nightmare lol
I heard a developer bought the property, and the whole area will be bulldozed and cleared. They intend to use a few things to symbolize the circus. Right now, you're just walking in a homeless encampment and lucky you don't get mugged. It's sad people can't visit the place as it's been completely vandalized.
This was from a few years ago, in the scorching heat of the Oklahoma summer - so that’s probably why no one was around. I usually fly my drone overheard to check out what I’m heading into, so I kind of knew no one was around. It is an interesting piece of land, though I certainly hope some effort on some level is made to preserve and save some of those really old trailers. Thanks for the update!!! 🤗
Visited in the 2000s. It's fallen apart even more since then. The stairs for upstairs used to be up, and more of that stuff strewn outside was inside. The crack beds obviously werent setup. I remember that time as a teenager, those red diner seats that were outside, used to be in okay shape inside. Sat down on them and smoked some weed in the middle of the night before we got creeped out and got the fuck out. Back then, you could tell this was actually quite a nice family home from the 50s/60s. THey had all the up to date decor of the era
Man, that would have been so cool to see back in the day. I’m sure all of it will be gone soon now that the land is finally being developed. All I can think of, however, when looking at those squatting beds on the ground is how infested with ticks that entire forest is. 🤢
@@ObscuristTourist yeah you can use history Ariel maps to track the site. It was established in the late 50s for main storage of the circus. That massive field used to have 2 standing buildings. Near the main house you can still see the concrete base for the bear and lion cages. A 400 bear mauled a tiger trainer ( he survived ) no one’s died at the sight but lots of ghost hunters go to it 😂.
@@okieg8960 nice info. thanks. Note to self: No 👻, just creepy, rapist, homeless people. I feel much better. Would you happen to know if there are any really, really old buildings that pre-date 1830 around there. Looking for buildings that old that you can take nails from is not easy to find! Thanks again.
Hey! Thanks for watching and thanks for the follow. I subbed you as well. Love your stuff!!! Watching your Picher, OK vid now. Meant to hit that up a couple months ago … but it was just too hot. Checking out what I missed now! 😎
funny enough i actually walked to this place, since it isnt too far from my house. didnt see anything scary, but i did almost fall and slip because it was very muddy out there at the time i visited.
My thought to on the age, but.. I did try to find out more about the Nog Dry Ice. I searched all the way back to the start of dry ice looking till i was ready to throw my computer through a window. AI was really getting to me, anyway, not a thing about it as a brand or a company. Must have gone under quick to be left out of all the history i went through. Sounds like it didn't get off to a great start at first could be why.
Hello, I live in Warr Acres, OK. and have been trying to find very old pre 1830's buildings or houses of any kind, but creepy history would be great! Anyway, looking as close to home as possible. I will travel though. Can't wait to check out more of your videos, thanks

i was here about two years ago, definitely someone living in the busses and house. it’s cool, but definitely has creepy vibes
Yeah, it definitely looked as if people had been living there. But they were nowhere to be found when I was exploring. Very odd … and oddly creepy. 😳
Awesome video man. You have guts. Please remember on video is worth your life.
Thanks! Don’t worry - I’m always quite safe with how I do things (despite how it looks sometimes). Haha
Prime setting for a 1980's teen slasher flick. Very cool location, creepy AF. 👍✌
100%

@@ObscuristTourist Yeah fuck that. They need jesus
Spooktacular! Super creepy! Though I was disappointed by the lack of penis graffiti.
I promise there will be more penis graffiti in future videos. My favorite part of explores as well. Lol
@@ObscuristTourist I have faith! Lol
i live down the street from here, and the "hauntings" are 100% just homeless people telling you to leave their place of temporary residence lol.
No doubt!
Hey just found this video, it’s not the actual circus just most of his possessions, a lot of it is buried.
Thanks for the info! Couldn’t find much on it, but gathered this was just old stuff the circus had kicking around. 🤗

Just found your channel, and you've got some great locations! Huge like and sub from a fellow explorer! 👍

I can easily imagine a bunch of Crusties squatting this place, lol! Would be great!
I’m sure there are a bunch of Crusties squatting here now! 😂

Would seem a lot more tolerable with the leaves off the trees. But … I could imagine the mud was a pain.
That’s a manure spreader. The paddles on the back throw the manure on fields
Never knew I live in Oklahoma City
It’s an interesting location, to say the least.
Most likely homeless people squatting there. It will probably be a subdivision soon.
No doubt!
Oh it's crazy because there's houses all around it and for however many years decades and decades ...it has just sat untouched
I think most of the shit you found was from the 70s and 80s. I grew up in Edmond, BTW.
And a "Caravan" is a series of vehicles, not "a" vehicle.
OK 🤷♂️
