Old villain kidnaps Gibbs and a retired Ducky, and whoever the NCIS Director at the time is. McGee gets stonewalled for support from DC so he puts out a call to all living Team Gibbs members for back-u. That's how Id write it.

Alex The actors that playAbby and Gibbs had a falling out so abbys actor left. To be honest I didn’t really like Abby in the later seasons, she wasn’t “Abby” anymore. My favorite version of her is the early seasons one.
@@cristianmendez324 i stopped watching the show after Ziva left. Also: The actors real life relationship doesn't tarnish the character's one. Those are separate. I've seen 2 actors who hate each other play a couple who loved each other and you looking back you never knew the actors didn't like one another. Point is, Abby and Gibbs had the most solid relationship in that show and he would die for her immediately. Abby's character changed obviously because after over a decade of losing friends/ family it changes a person.

Have all 18-seasons, on DVD. Once every few months, I start watching them all over again.
Leroy J. Gibbs, Tony DiNozzo Jr, Ziva David, and Timothy MaGee were the A-Team of NCIS. Kate Todd was a great character too and Eleanor Bishop was alright.

When it was obvious Ziva was on her way out I fell out of the series, too. The first four are the best.

@@kidz4p509 McGee is more Red Robin(Tim Drake) to me because he is the smartest and loyal agent trained under Gibbs while Tony decide to be his own man but with unbreakable bond and respect for Gibbs thats why I chose him to be Nightwing

Tony didn't just tackle Gibbs, I think Gibbs was also impressed by how quick on the draw he was after taking a solid hit. But I'd go with Tony, because I too enjoy movie references and trivia.
Ziva is my favourite she is amazing, even cbs must think so since they brought her back...and just look at all these meetings even the thumbnail and the way him and Ziva look at each other compare to his face meeting the others, they were proper bonded the very first minute they seen each other, proper father and daughter relationship

If you look at Gibbs's og team ( second season onwards) it is a pretty deadly combination. His team had a sniper, a hacker, an assassin and a wildcard. You can't compete with that.

It's been a month I think since I've seen s17..... In that time whenever I've felt low or sad or I don't know what's happening (worldwide pandemic and all) I just think about the fact that Tony went looking for her, he found her......He didn't assume, he verified..... And just thinking about that makes me feel good again :)

I agree. He's unrecognizable (for the better) if you jump from season 1 when he starts at NCIS to season 11 when he meets Delilah to season 21. Why he hasn't taken the helm as NCIS Director after "Guardian" is beyond me. McGee is really good at being Director, and Sean Murray can play that role like a fiddle for the next few years.

I stopped watching when Mark Harmon left too. Gibbs is THE heart and iconic character of the show, why they would get rid of Gibbs is beyond me 🤬🤬

Gibbs meeting Callen
Gibbs meeting Pride and the Fed Five
Gibbs meeting Kurt Mitchell
Gibbs meeting Pacci
Gibbs meeting Tobias
None of those people are agents that work under him. Abby, Palmer, and Kasie are all science-related workers. Callen, Pride, and the Fed Five are a different branch of NCIS. As for Mitchell, I don’t think it’s ever covered in the show so that would be nice considering his sacrifice for Gibbs’ family, but, again, didn’t work under Gibbs. Neither did Pacci. And Tobias worked for a whole other government law enforcement agency (the FBI)

It was weird without him at the beginning but when you eventually get used to it you start loving the show again. I know I did. There have been a lot of changes on the show and it's still a great show.

I know Tony as as left and have seen episodes with all others in that have left either leaving or getting killed.

@@ncisfangirl3539 I cannot find it for the life of me... but I swear he was interrogated back in season 7+ but he was a lot younger then he is in season 14. Maybe not Zivas time but sometime while Tony was there. Gibbs interrogated him in the interrogation room, not like in Season 14 in the conference room. I cant find it online or lookkng at the episode desc. But I swear he is in one before that. He was noticibly younger
