Remember when consecration and diamond lance were supposed to break stasis crystals lol, a feature that STILL hasn't been implemented to titan.
Seriously how hard is it to enable that? Or is bungie doing a bungie and “releasing” that with the mid season patch for whatever reason.

@@morganpriest7726 100% they're going to release it along with the other titan "buffs" with the mid season update, something that was promised at launch for TFS that clearly wasn't tested.
@@sQuaTsiFieD I think if you physically hit the frozen target it might shatter some of them, but it and diamond lance were supposed to directly shatter the crystals and they just literally didn't implement it, been on the known issues for ages now so they're definitely holding it back to make the upcoming titan changes seem more significant.
To make Feedbacks more effective, you can put on 2x Charged Up and 1x Stacks on Stacks to gain as much charge in one punch as possible in order to deal the damage that it used to when you get melee'd.
That and aping in as fast as possible with an overshielf will always be one of my favourite ways of getting a team wipe
You dont actually need the melee kickstart to make the armor charge persist. I run FBF with stacks on stacks. You get a stronger blast with 2 stacks.

This. I use the grenade weakening fragment but I wonder sometimes if it’s even worth it. Health regen on melees might be better
@giantslayer9335 you'd be surprised. With how passive people like to play that debuff can be the difference in a pick and them retreating and regrouping. I've been using it with magnetic on prismatic hunter and it feels really good to get that consistent damage if I'm accurate with my grenade. I know prismatic hunter is the boogeyman in pvp right now for the smoke, clone, and swarm spam but since I perfer different play and I'm sick of fighting the spam I can't wait for the nerfs too.
Definitely love regular abeyant leap with a really similar class setup to this, just replace diamond lance with drengr's lash. The tracking suspend tangle can go over barricades and similar height cover plus tell you where people are since it tracks through walls, and it gives woven mail which forces people to shoot you in the head or have disadvantage, and since it gives woven mail and knockout gives amplified you can run facet of hope to get the suspend ball faster. Can even shiver strike suspended enemies off edges for the funny. I like using blunt execution rounds battler as a follow up to shiver strikes to remove gambling at the cost of needing to aim
Same here, pretty fun combo. Nice counter to green ghost spam hunter.
My only problem is that in interiors the ball can stuck with the walls, sometimes can be annoying.
I used the Peregrine diamond lance build this last weekend on trials and went flawless. Was an iffy map, didnt use it too often BUT I was able to pull off a 3 v 1 against hyper aggressive players as a result.

Not sure how competitive this build is (need to test further with teammates) but it certainly works well when you have reliable teammates that you can build around. Without further ado, here is my battle medic build (No Time to Hesitate):
Subclass: Solar Titan
Exotic Armor: Armamentarium
Super: Player's choice
Melee: Player's choice (Preference for shoulder charge bc movement is nice)
Grenade: Swarm Grenade
Aspects: Sol Invictus, (Player's choice on the second aspect)
Mandatory Embers: Benevolence, Solace
Flex Embers: Searing + Mercy or Ashes + Singeing
Kinetic Slot: No Time to Explain
Energy Slot: No Hesitation (with enhanced Physic)
Power slot: Player's Choice
Gameplay loop: Lob swarm grenades and peek with NTTE to build healing charge with No Hesitation.
Healing allies (with enhanced Physic) grants bonus damage and extended resto to you and your teammate, thus granting increased ability regen via Benevolence. This restoration gets further extended by Solace. By keeping the enemy team burning and healing your teammates, you can keep momentum in your favor.
Flex embers can be swapped around depending on your build, but getting free resto on a firesprite pickup can be clutch. Especially because you scorch so many people with the swarm nades and if your team is all using swarm nades (prismatic hunter), then NTTE becomes a great clean-up tool to kill scorched targets. Arguments can be made for ashes + singing as well, especially in cases where you value barricade more than restoration on revive (revives now become another source of Benevolence/ability regen)
Having two grenade slots means that you can freely lob swarm grenades, charging No Hesitation, thus allowing you to heal your team and always gain back that grenade energy. Normally, medic builds sacrifice having an offensive grenade, thus limiting your ability to hold down a revive or maintain offensive pressure. In this build, the more you heal, the more you can do offensively. Peeking with No Time + 10% Damage Boost is truly free, and is especially oppressive when coupled with prism hunter teammates that dissuade enemy pushes via smoke and clone spam.
TLDR: You don't get a special, but you juice one of the most powerful primaries in the game and facilitate team healing while maintaining offensive pressure. Given the right team composition, enemies will be hesitant to push given the constant healing and ability spam. If you have further questions, hmu.
I’m having a lot of fun in trials messing around with this build. I wonder if the 10% buff would be enough for Ace to 2 tap, because that could also be a nasty combo

@littlekuiper the boost only lasts 5 seconds and swapping with mori loses the perk. Unlikely it would pair well. Do you use armamentarium as well?
@@SamuelMindel Realized that right after I commented lol. Yes I’ve been using armarmentarium, and I will the swarm grenade uptime is pretty good. I’m able to have one pretty much every round and sometimes I have 2.

Knockout/ Suspend Barricade is a good reversal kit, stops a rush in its tracks and boosted melee to clean up, heal, amplify and get a tangle. Also good for when people cling together for a zone/ bubble/ well.
Not as strong as this build since it’s more defensive minded

Hey Cammy, Lion rampant has its new bug / buff that im sure your aware of, ive been using it on prismatic with consecration, unbreakable, glacier nade, and strand melee along with dmt and hipfire/opening shot gunnora's. i Know flying cowboy is an old build but with strand melee for the air dodge and glacier nade to hold high ground its become wayyyy better, and you can ads while in the air now with the bug. It may not be totally competitive but no one expects a titan cosplaying a warlock. I use unbreakable in the air if im stuck to just buy more time and consecration is nice when close quarters, but either could be swapped for knockout. Also thundercrash is big here because amplified on orb pickup gets you in the air faster and further. Have a good one Mr. Cakes!
Knockout/suspend thruster with the exotic that enhances the green thing.
Perfect counter for the ghost spam hunters and for shotgun apes. Sadly, the ball is easy to break (at least they have to waste a bullet) and the slash have problem to follow enemies in interiors sometimes.
I tried to use the Shield throw and the ice wall combo, is pretty good, the problem is that is really hard to gain prismatic energy using this, so I change to Shiver strike for the movement and the fire nade.
Knockout plus diamond lance is definitely the most competitive titan aspect combo. I noticed that most of what you said felt like gambling revolved around the shiver strike melee. I can agree that the shiver strike combo is hit or miss, so if you want a more reserved melee, you always have hammer strike as a simple movement option. Then you can just rely on the neutral game of knockout to make lances. I’ve played with both and they are both fun in their own way. Body shotting with a slug sg and getting a knockout melee is the easiest diamond lance you will ever get
This same setup but with dunes, I find to be more potent and consistent.
Get better neutral game with dunes. Getting to lanes faster and more evasive. Especially when paring with a slug.
Also when the melee short stops dunes gives you better chance of closing that gap.
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure the dunes lightning is enough damage for knockout melee to finish the 2nd player. Giving you the option to use the lance on the 3rd player. It's definitely enough to cleanup witha slug body shot tho. Giving you more options to handle 1v3

Got to play with you yesterday by happenstance. Was definitely a fun surprise winning as a triple titan team vs a bunch of hunters. I also like to run barricade instead of thruster because the number of people who will slide through your barricade and give you a knockout lance is insane

More for 6s, but Lion Rampant + Bad Juju on Prismatic Titan. With AE helm investment plus the boots, Juju's got 100 in stability and AE. DMT/Tommy is always an old pick too of course, but with Lion's new ability/bug to ADS in air, I just find Juju to be a lot more flexible in all ranges. Anyway Prismatic Titan basically has everything Lion's wants: Glacier nades, 2 different air-dodge melee choices, Unbreakable for extra in-air blocking, Transcendence to refuel ability charges in-air, Thrusters to keep you moving as you land, etc.

I've been using Unbreakble and diamond lance with a glaive and the prophet. With an agg frame glaive you can hit someone then kill them with unbreakable even if they don't shoot back which will make a diamon lance. Shooting a frozen enemy with a glaive insta kills them. I also use shield throw with Point Contact on the class item. It's very inconsistent but when it hits it can nuke people who are grouped up
Not so much competitive, but its a fun 6's build. Prismatic titan with KO/DL, PK's, primary SMG, and a Waveframe Ergo Sum(I recommend Riskrunner perk). Doesn't work on long range maps very well but will definitely net you a bunch of kills on a small/medium size map.
I abuse this in trials, it’s strong with shiver strike + knockout.
Plus, I have charged up and stacks on stacks.
2 melee = 4 armor charges.
If I’m not mistaken, I’ve yet to encounter this. So far, if I get frozen and they melee me. I survive. I’ve had it happen twice.

Fun titan stuff? Lion Rampants got an undocumented change (bug?) that lets you ADS during lift, like Heat Rises. Do with that info what you will.

if youre interested, the solar/ashen wake build on high discipline and mobility is my mainstay for years. if you build into it the grenade gets very nice cleanups and can act as an extra shotgun shot sometimes. also makes a sunspot on kill and gives a bunch of health while also refreshing itself. could send it to you if you're interested

The other prism titan I use is abeyant leap (the actual boote) with drengers for wovenmail with knockout, and I use thunderclap and glaciers. For fragments, the 2 most important is probably the one that gives you more class ability when you have a buff and the one that starts regen on melee kills.
I'm just super happy to have Ophidian's available on my Titan, finally. I'm running it with Armamentarium (which is bugged right now, if you have 2 grenade charges and die you lose one), but really it's all about Ophidian. Certain weapons I've just never used have really started to shine for me. I have a 23 handling Stars in Shadow with KC that just never misses headshots, and now its awful handling doesn't matter anymore.

Admittedly haven’t tried it in pvp but drengr’s lash with titan dash is interesting. It spawns a ball that tracks pretty aggressively. Could be fun the play with, but also could just be another cheesy toy
Spirit of the bear and armamentarium with a glave. You can charge your super and counter spam. Also reflect plus glave one shots.
Spirit of assassin with sythoceps ( surprise) with concercration, frenzy blade....rat king.
Idea is to go invisible and go for the big D melee. Then you can go invisible again after the kill(s) to regroup

Kiphir's horn with suspended barricade goes through aggressive teams, and you get the shield back fast in lowered barricade.

Not sure if I'd consider it 'competitive' but my Prism Titan setup is Unbreakable + Diamond lance using a Bear + Contact class item and the void throwing shield. It's been great for catching hunters that use the clone to escape their gunfights 'cause the shield (sometimes) kills them behind the cover they dodge to. Also great for groups because Contact jolts them as well.
Unbreakable is great with Bear for the movement speed and super energy when it comes up but also to save yourself from stuff like swarm grenades and even grapple melee when you're weak.
I use the fragment with jolt/weaken on grenade, so Unbreakable will weaken if it hits or you can throw a jolting pulse nade on a zone instead if you need to.
Any of those abilities getting a kill make a Diamond Lance which is neat but honestly I don't often use 'em, I get a kill from range with the grenade or melee and just forget that they spawn 😅 I'd prefer Drengr's Lash over Diamond Lance if I could get Bear + Abeyant but that's not possible.
Now that I think about it, maybe Abeyant + Contact could work well... Back to the class item grind I guess lol

Until i tried geminis and nightstalker and its been making the game fun once again, cus i can actually get into duels or a 1v2 i can win
Fun fact glacial quake or the stasis super with the fragment that regens health for light attack kill, so kinda pre nerf fist of havoc but better mobility and tracking, have fun with acd feedbacks even more fun
when i shiver strike double melee for some reason theres no lance?
It surprises me how people think this is busted. With a near minute long cooldown at 100 strength and a melee that in my experience doesn't connect reliably and the follow-up normal melee doesn't either. It's a good combo when it works but isn't busted in the slightest. It's also still funny to have my hunter teammate say he has the slowest class when I see clips of hunters flying across maps with grapple melee and watch warlocks do the same with their dash while for me I'm only "fast" in a straight line and when my frames are high enough for the skate to actually function. Which I'm not sure I've ever had enough frames when I usually sit around 80-90 and occasionally get 100.
Just use glaive and feedback fence, the melee stacks armor charge and allows you to just main the weapon especially w weapon surges

Still ironing out the kinks for what I want from Prismatic Titan. But aspect wise I never find myself running Diamond Lance over Unbreakable. The ability to knock back and disorient jousting players is just too strong to pass up. In terms of weapons I like running my max handling Poetry with Perpetual+Swash/Focus Fury so I can take advantage of the shiver strike into melee to snowball into 2 taps on successful melee combo. I also run duality so I can have luxury on slug shotting knocked back targets with either my melee or grenades. Gotta use Armamentarium until a stoicism with ophids+arma drops.
I’ve been abusing the ursa furiosa and armentarium with knock out and the shield aspect but there’s a catch if you use thermite grenades it does max damage of 185 all the time, I run with with travelers chosen and anything long range and it’s my pocket shotgun ability I’m usually the 1st to get my super if I’m being aggressive

Not sure if it is competitive level or not. But I have been playing around with two prismatic titan builds and had some fun with it.
1. One of the first exotic class itens I got was Spirit of the Bear + Horn. So I decided to fool around with Unbreakable and Drengr's. It was a fun enough playstyle. Set traps, enjoy seeing people's surprise by getting killed by the fire wave or the thunderclap (i tried to use skullfort, but keep missing the charge time for one shot) and have a "oh no!" buttom that helps to get super faster. Still died a lot, but mostly because I am NOT a good pvper and I know it.
2. Sort of same idea. This time Knockout + Drengr's. Used a few exotics at first (dunes, peregrines, feedback) but them I got a ophidian + horn class item and decided to see how it goes. It felt more "usually titan" style but more snappy, even more so when I dropped the class item and went back to peregrine for hammer strike and started to use thruster for the "suspend surprise".
That's about it. Hope you find these fun!

Because it's boring to get. Wasn't always like that. It took years for people to start actually using Diamond Lance on Behemoth but on Prismatic... day 1. Bungie forced it down your throat in the campaign so you know. It's too obvious to feel rewarding to use.
also, an unbreakable with drenglers lash build can be pretty fun, especially with the right exotic class item (Abeyant+armamentarium/ contact). GP Loop: shiver strike or unbreakable push -> thruster -> hc cleanup or unbreakable retreat. Great for anti agro if you can read your opponent. only mandatory facet would be facet of mending imo
Not gonna get on the wagon with this one, having tons of fun with it in pvp compared to other stuff, ur telling me it more fun to just throw shit everywhere on the map with hunter or warlock spam slide melee over and over again? Cmon Let’s be real.
@@simplyfitness892 of all prismatic, diamond lance is the only thing that you actually control. You control radar with smokes, sure, but it's up to the enemy to either fall for it or not. You don't always get the same results. Same with lighting surge. Diamond Lance is really the only thing that once you have it, it's up to you to find success with it. You don't hope and pray to the game that it works because it's up to you to make it freeze someone. If it fails it's on you. No blaming the game unless it's insane lag. In that regard, it's more rewarding to successfully use a diamond lance because you made that happen.
Where I originally stand is how easy lances are to get on prismatic. You do literally nothing more than as if you're on arc Titan but get a diamond lance. Prismatic makes it pointless to use anyone else and it shows with its usage.

Yep. It is literally the same for peregine greaves. They only problem is in close quarters where you need to react fast
Yup I’ve been using this combo since final shape released, and if I had to put a fake percentage on the amount of times I get killed by shotgun while using shiver strike, I would say about 20-35% of the time. I still personally enjoy it as I had a lot of fun on the Nicho behemoth build pre final shape.
The only other one ive benn useing is the sholder charge build you showed off a few weeks ago, its really fun, but i wish i could seap knockout for something more interesting

I use suppressor to active facet of command. I’ve been having a lot of success with slug shotguns with the extra aim assist you get.

@@cammycakesgaming tbh I’m a warlock main and don’t really touch titan, but I will tell you is that the titan build that gets me most often is the build you’re running but with peregrine greaves and hammer strike. It is just so insanely strong and the kill chain that usually happens after they 1 shot melee me just cooks my entire team. I think it might be a better choice compared to AC/DC, from what I’ve seen it is a lot more consistent to the quick 2 punch melee combo that you got me with (and bungie spaghetti code made you miss on me a few times)

As a Titan main since year 1 Titan is basically a dead class for me right now in pvp. While the kit is far from useless it just feels pointless when Hunter and Warlock both offer so much more right now.
If special ammo was any more potent thruster+ lash would be amazed with shiverstrike as an opener
I've always loved adcs because they like triple your kd since most kills are from melee trades.
Skullfort suspend barricade to feed my thunderclap addiction. I think you could swap knockout with Lance too if you really wanted.
You could go glave 3 armor mods, possible fun 6 . Anyone punch you after melee. Whoever is close delete..

I have a strand glave melee build video on my yt but I really recommend that build because it allows you to 1v3 because I used banner of war
I did switch it a Little all I did was to op for 100 discipline because I rarely find my self using the strand melee because that melee is so sensitive but I hope you see this and god bless you

I won't lie, when hunters get nerfed. This will PROBABLY be the next probpem to adress, and im a titan main. Its too easy sometimes. I almost cluched a 1v3 with it, BUT I got to him too late to mele while he was frozen, and it was too late. He had shotty ammo, lol. Ya boy was gutted.

Reminder that Consecration IS IN FACT shattering Stasis crystals and Frozen targets, its just that its on the FULL MELEE USE. You will shatter on the down slam, not the flame wave, commit to your melees people don't try to cheap out and blame Bungie.

Honestly is just sounds like you've just built normal stasis titan that can turn pink. I feel like if prismatic had no spam, normal stasis would be better.
