LEARN:
Action takes place on a 358 х 230 km map - The largest and most detailed recreation of the Battle of Stalingrad theatre ever modeled in a flight simulation with unique structures, buildings and landscapes.
Single-Player Campaign scenario follows the real chronology of the battle starting with Operation Uranus on November 19th, 1942 and continues to the complete liberation of the city on February 2nd, 1943.
Ten Legendary aircraft of the era have been thoroughly re-created using original drawings and blueprints from the Central archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Precise simulation of the flight model allows everyone to learn the special character and limits of each and every plane in the game. Use each of their special abilities and performance characteristics to complete your mission and survive the brutal fight.

The horn is your gear warning horn. Basically it goes off with a closed throttle and the gear still up, so you don’t whoopsy doodle while landing on your belly in theory.

I was told the convergence also affects the vertical axis. So setting it further also points the guns up somewhat. This is beneficial for high angle deflection shots, giving you that bit of extra lead.
Excellent patrol, loving Trofim's continued success, surely there should have been credit for more than one kill? Bit stingy that! 🤔
I really like the hurricane horn. It helps me guage how much throttle you use in a dog fight which is a nice it of info.

You have 4th lowest in flight hours, yet top in aircraft kills in the squadron, so you're doing something right.
Betcha' it has something to do with having all those .303 MGs and especially all that ammo.
20mm cannon are groovy, but the ammo load for them sucks.
It is 100% worth taking the cannon. The fact that it has HE rounds mean one or two rounds will cripple a plane.

Always great videos. Think you need to use the cannons. The .303s just do not do the job.
Looks like a co-op mission with Wolfpack 345. He's flying the MiG 3 right now.
All those 303 rounds for a single kill, there is a lesson here for all Hurricane pilots I think. Certainly if I pick this game up I won't consider 303s if cannon is offered.
Can't help but think you do better with the cannons on. The short deadly bursts made short work of them last time.

Standard convergence irl for spits and huris was 230 meters.
.303 is not really cutting it. your going to have to upgrade.
It’s not the guns that are the problem, it’s Taff’s aim.
I’ve been saying the same thing. The hurricane with stronger guns will definitely deal more damage.
@@timonsolus Taffy’s aim wasn’t too bad. He still got some good hits, specially on that second 109 and Stuka.
@@mikemontgomery2654 : One 20 mm cannon puts out about the same weight of fire as 5 rifle calibre machine guns. So two 20 mm cannon and four .303 machine guns is about the same as 14 machine guns. And the Hurricane II normally has 12 machine guns.
@@timonsolus you’re still throwing a lot more damage in one shot with a 20mm than a spray of .303 rounds. There is a reason the British moved away from strictly .303 brownings as soon as they could. There is also a reason you don’t see browning .303 being mounted on fighter jets after the war. Even .50 cal came to a point where it wasn’t nearly as effective for shooting planes down. Hell, the Russians modified the hurricane, in the first place, because they weren’t happy with only .303 guns. They got better results from cannons and .50 cal.

this munitions loadout seems to really need more punch. You have a lot of them but you only secure one or two victory each time. So no more than with the 20mm canon.

@@rabidbadger5260 : Cannons do more damage, but it can be more difficult to hit with them, if they have a lower muzzle velocity than machine guns.
You think the other members of Trofim's flight are jealous of him or if they're just bros?
Having read about Russian fighter and bomber pilots there would have been plenty of banter and joshing but in the end they would be complete bros looking out for each other. Like most tight knit groups do.
Stop!!!!Hurricane vs.109.....?May be Only Guy's from the 303 Sq.could make it!!!Remember 109 could easily turn the Hurricane down.PS:Stuka max 2000 ft till Stalingrad 6000 ft....ok!!!!!!
