IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is the continuation of the legendary IL-2 Sturmovik series that has set the standard for PC combat flight games for more than ten years. Unique and detailed damage model lets you use the pros and cons of various aircraft and tanks to your advantage.
Adjust the tank aiming sights for distance and view the tank interior just as a plane cockpit!
LEARN:
Action takes place on a 358 х 230 km map - The largest and most detailed recreation of the Battle of Stalingrad theatre ever modeled in a flight simulation with unique structures, buildings and landscapes.
Single-Player Campaign scenario follows the real chronology of the battle starting with Operation Uranus on November 19th, 1942 and continues to the complete liberation of the city on February 2nd, 1943.
Ten Legendary aircraft of the era have been thoroughly re-created using original drawings and blueprints from the Central archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Personally, it kind of drains the enjoyment from these games when you end up defaulting to that 85% of the career

Dear the families of Teras Savelyvev, Olig Osipenko, and Stepan Sitnkov, today marked as the darkest day in the 621st 'Orshansky' Suvorov Order Red Banner Ground Attack Air Regiment, I mean newly appointed commander Svyatoslav Gulaev, have not seen such casualties in the war that the father and husband of this pilot who has fought bravely for the motherland against the German invaders marching on Stalingrad while risking their lives to protect their love one's, our deepest condolences and apology if the pilot of Teras Savelyvev, Olig Osipenko, and Stepan Sitnkov has/have families, wives, and children did not make it back on this very morning assault on a German airfield, heavy flak guns cause their aircraft to crash however their commitment to the motherland will not be forgotten and the soviet union will present you medal the hero of the soviet union, I do regret not being to able send higher decorating medals.
To family/relative of commander Petr Rusakov during the assault on a German airfield, heavy flak guns cause his aircraft crash, luckily he survives but unfortunately, he was capture by the Germans and I am afraid he is being sent to the prison internment camps in Poland and Eastern Europe and presented to you medal the hero of the soviet union and Order of the Red Banner for his outstanding military aviation skills but our deepest condolences and apology if the war ends he does not make it out.

I know your content is very community based, but I like that you’re just following the career the way a pilot would, going where you’re needed rather than where you want.
It gives it a more natural feel, it nicely follows on from the content where you create a backstory for a character and give them some padding and filler rather than just a name at the end of a battle.

EXCELLENT ! Love the IL2 "Cementer" Don't worry about getting bounced ,it will happen very often, your plane can take it. Seeing the rear gunner in action would be cool.

We’ll see what happens with the squad, but yeah Crtl + C allows you to man other positions in the aircraft
Great shot with those rockets! I tried the Il-2 a few days ago, and dang, I forgot what a heavy mf the Sturmovik is. Also It think you hit that 109 at 11:34 and forced him to dive.

I have watched a few guides and setup the gun convergence to 350 meters which allows me to attach from further out giving me more time to setup the attack. I also know when on the gun sight the likely rocket projection will be which seems to be helping

Being related to Stalin wasn't generally a deal breaker. He treated his relations the same as other Russians. Poorly.
I notice you leave your tail gunner to freeze out in the cold while your in a nice, warm, armored cockpit. How unSoviet of you. LOL
Did you know, the earlier Il-2’s had no armour protection for the rear gunner? The gunner’s body was extra protection for the pilot!
He has been issues with a soviet hip flask of the mother Russia’s finest vodka to keep out the cold
