I built mine as suspend tribal with a voltron subtheme on obeka. Tonnes of fun and so much value with the cards that exile themselves with time counters on them after casting. You can potentially cast them multiple times per turn.

I love how you plan to build a deck around upkeep triggers, fill it mostly with cards that have static abilities, etbs, and even beginning of combat triggers, then spend all your games complaining that your extra upkeeps aren't doing anything.

As an opponent against Chris, you are either dead on turn 3 or you have 8-9 turns to do absolutely anything you want against him...
I would lose on purpose just to see what nonsense he cooked up.

I just realized, you should put 1 artifact land in your sideboard for karn.
You're stuck on two mana, fetching for three cost or greater artifacts that you can't cast this game.
that's really interesting... will be upkeeping for a while

If you untick "auto order triggers", I think you can order it so that Forgefire Automaton gets to reanimate before your Portal to Phyrexia. Could be the difference between a win or a loss when a weenie suddenly gets 8 power.

Theres the dean version of nassari from strixhaven. The opponent doesnt choose (you get both cards) but you have to pay mana.
4th ed Warhammer was the best! I miss templates and charts. I still remember how to calculate those damn charts! What am I supposed to do with that info stuck in my brain?
I believe if it was an reanimate would be way more efficient... you could even reanimate Obika with the Forgefire to get 8 upkeeps..

Shrine are excellent with Obeka. Sanctum of all triggering multiple times a turn is nice.

Are you tired of pesky lands in your deck taking up space in your combo. Use land tax to get them in your hand only to discard them. Oh you have more lands than your opponent you say. Land destruction on yourself. And then you only have combo pieces
for a deck focused on obeka, you really didn't have anything to upkeep from... like why even have the land destro golems? this is meme deck, not super competetive!
