I can't believe Chris didn't ban Almighty Brushwug in the last game, it would have been the sweetest cherry in top of that pie
Would Runed Halo have protected you from Teferi's Tutelage because it specifies target opponent?
Came here to say this lol. He had the mana for it and everything. I was like "CHRIS YOU DINGUS!!!"
@@aaronhooper4803 there's not a single video that i'm not like this
Mirrormade was the most underrated card from Eldrain. It's uses were almost limitless.
You should have named "almighty brushwagg" in the last match...it would have been just epic :'D
Hey Chris, here's a challenge: try to recreate JasonDennis's actual deck with all those Dead Weights.
@@sebastiannettles9076 This is why I wish he'd put that episode as an introduction video or something, so everyone who never saw it can go watch it. I don't remember which episode it was from, but it was months ago.
Also you can check his deck with unmoored ego to name more stuff you dont know about yet.
Man I’m so glad I found your channel and that you still make content… you have an incredible personality and sense of humor. I love all your vids and look forward to watching in the future. Much love mate!
Chris, could you make some historic brawl decks? Might be fun!
Midnight clock? For shuffling the graveyard into library
A good anti-mill card is Gaea's Blessing. I have made a lot of Mill deck players quit over that one card.
It's good, unless when you just draw it instead of it getting milled.
Or you can put at least 2 copies of it and you can always use it of you draw it and recycle it back to deck with the other.
@@Yassir.A.P. yep just put a few pathways or gates that have green and your real color so you can cast it if needed.
@@Yassir.A.P. - I run 3 copies of Gaea's Blessing in almost any deck, usually paired with Final Parting.
@@QargZer I have in the past put them in decks with no way to cast them, just on principIe that it messes with most miII decks... Iove this card.
I can't believe nobody put ashiok's erasure in that deck. It would be perfect.
Two years later and I still have not faced him again, I was grumpy when we played (I'm Vindice at 12:50) I do hope to face him again soon with my new jank deck!
Always have at least one Gaea's Blessing in my historic decks so I don't get completely screwed by mill.
Now this is approaching JasonDennis levels
With unmoored ego you can check your opponent entire deck and take notes for ixilan binding, etc...
Shoutout to everyone shouting out ZENITH FLARE. Was so happy to see it banned and then he had 3 in hand :D
That game 1 should have a Dingus points counter.
Ready to see the greatest Mono-Black Zombie deck in standard.
I believe Yorion should be added to this deck so you can reset all the cards you named.
Done many versions of this.. it was best when Teferi, Time Raveler was still legal in historic. I could Mythos of Illuna instant speed to copy Ashiok's Erasure. Then i could recycle Mythos back from graveyard.. good that someone got voted up with this theme. One of my favorite evils in magic.
I guess that "Tearing down opponents soul" is indeed a WinCon with this.
Dingus Chris! Runed halo was my make tutelage scoop card
"I'm save, all creatures destroyed..."
Ugin: "Hello!"
Hahahahahaha
The first 20 minutes of this video was, without a doubt, the most painful MBM content to date. The cringes were right in the feels...
You should try this deck with the lithoform engine on the sideboard, use lithoform engine to copy triggered abilities or instant or sorcery you control to create double of what u casted.
Teferi’s tutelage is a targeting effect. Runed halo would’ve given you protection
When you used your first Fae of Wishes if you would have grabbed clear the mind from your side board right out of the gate you could have shuffled your graveyard back into your library at a second chance. )
This kind of deck’s win condition is the inexorable pull of the Concede button that it induces in the minds of opponents.
Fae of Fishes beatdown. A classic.
Game two, why not use the granted side of fae of wishes to get Sorcerous Spyglass and name faceless haven?
I always add a gaea's blessing just for mill decks, more usefull than you'd think
21:05 I would’ve quit too lmao
The mutate matchup was better than it looked because one Ixalan's Binding exiles a whole mutate stack at once, and bans ALL the cards it exiles
Qué divertidos son tus videos, entiendo el 15% de lo que hablas pero igual me entretengo xDDD
when are you going to make another video, good sir?
I picked up 4 Runed Halos last year for cheap just to have them, love that card.
You should try a neat combo with Scute Swarm, Ashaya and Wrenn and Seven, played with a friend the other day got a 5 land hand with Wrenn and overloaded the server with 1k+ swarms
Everyone has bad days.....cept JasonDennis
Ah, classic stax deck, no wincons
I like that you show you loses as well!
Hey! I’m subbed, have been for quite some time now.. 🤷♂️
this is freaking hilarious
Runed Halo could have shut off Teferi's Tutelage in the first game, right? Since it says "target" and you'd have protection from it?
I'm confused why he didn't deal with Teferi in that first match. It was the card milling him but he dealt with everything else instead.
@@NightChime he did and don't get me wrong he plays way better then I do. I guess I just disagreed.
I think the last guy was hoping you'd mill yourself.
Fae of Wishes for clear the mind?
AMAAAAAAAAAAAIZING
nice!
Hall of Storm Gigantes makes this a niceee jank
Nice 💪
AlmightyBrushwag.. that name sounds familiar. I think Chris played against him long time ago. Or maybe it was just me queuing up against him^^
Needs some cheap counter spells for early game play before you have the mana to exile their stuff. Ashiok would be nice too for mill/exile and focus their attention.
all that glitters would've been catastrophic in this deck.
"Just stick around until the end"
Me: Immediately skips to 35:00
Throw a win con into your sideboard man. Approach of the Second Sun is an easy pick. Though making your opponent quit from pure frustration has it's charms.
If I run a historic sideboard in blue it always has two clear the minds.
@36:43 why would you not play wrath of God? I haven't played in a while and so I might be missing something. Is there a reason you wouldn't just play your plains and leave your other card for later?
Gemrazer Chris. Lol gemrazer
Those first few matches were horrible. 😹😭 That's why I stopped playing Historic for now. This deck is very cool. Well done on the last match!
Should have named Almighty Brushwag in last game :D
Another no win-con UW deck? What is this, standard 2022?
What're you talking about? He wishes for the one-off unmoored ego, and suddenly his opponent's deck is smaller than his. Boom, win condition.
You dont put in the ashiok counter for 4 that have the same text of binding, other spell countered this way cannot be played!!!
When you're 21 minutes into the video and already 0 - 4
Also, I think you should've named Almighty Brushwag against Almighty Brushwag.
The wincon can also be to just play 52 rounds so the opponent has no more cards to draw.
I think this deck needs some copies of Shark Typhoon for an endgame wincon
This is what I call a prison deck. I named mine "Dont drop the soap"
Hold up... I was wondering who was playing Archon of Emeria in Historic. Turns out it was me.
Oh I remember this match now, lol I was trying to do the Jace lockout combo and then he immortal sunned me and boy that hurt xD
Don't worry, sometimes i'm googling cards too because there are too many and we can't remember all.
If it was me I'd probably replace the bindings with Ashiok's Erasure as they basically do the same thing. Sure it's 4 mana and double blue at that but it's basically a counter spell that can counter every single card (even the uncounterable ones) and doesnt let the cards enter the battlefield in the firstplace.
@@Darkeep12 True, but the board wipes, halo, judgement, immortal sun, and spyglass can take care of most of what hits the board. Binding is just too slow imo. Erasure is harder to cast sure, but it at least prevents the opponent from actually gaining anything from the card they play. Only card erasure cant do much against is ulamog but thats the only time I can see binding being a better choice. Thinking about it, it'd probably just be best to have binding and erasure and get rid of mythos. And for an actual wincon just put in the creature or castle lands
The evil one strikes again.
Losing to the bad version of the mutate deck is the worst. Felt that.
There is an artifact called elixir of life that gives you 7 life and all cards in your graveyard back to library then shuffle
Why no Ashioks Erasure?
In that last game, I would 100% have banned Reclamation Sage. That's your biggest threat because you can't block it with ToT.
Seeing these year-old games reminds me of how completely fucked up Historic was then.
No Ashiok's Erasure??
I mean, one would think?
Hey Algorithm! Don't be a Dingus and suggest this video to other viewers! I'm sure that it will be fun.
Does anyone know what happened to Chris? He hasn't uploaded anything in a week 😯
Is this standard or historic??
The first match made me so mad, damn I hate people that play mill decks so much lol
The only way this deck was more UW control as it was if it had more counters on it.
Oh, if only you could run opalescence.. we need that in mtga
miss the standard content
I don't know who Jason Dennis is and at this point I'm afraid to ask.
lol that 1st game... Ruined Halo would have stopped the Tutelage Chris, it has to target.
ZENITH FLARE, omg.
ok wow, you played a lot of Dingus Decks but this just feels like cheating :-D I love it :-D
No Ashiok's Erasure?
Last game starts at 34:51.
Ashioks erasure would be good in this deck
problem is that it's hard to copy because copying is sorcery speed, while one would like to have it enter at instant speed to counter stuff.
Cool deck, needs a better pilot
aschiok erasure also
This is the deck for those who are whinny about banning cards 😅
you could of used test of talents to see opponent's deck to really see if there was something not named instead of just wasting the enchantments naming the same thing over and over
I beIieve Unmoored Ego was in the side for that same reason, it shows you their whoIe deckIist. You can use it if they're not casting stuff to counter with Test of TaIents.
Counterspell deck but instead of instants, it's permanents.
32:23 I loled so hard that I spilled my coffee.
