The crashs were better in earlier versions of the game. They flipped way more than they do now. The cars sometimes get suck at the walls when the slowmo is activated in the current version which sucks
if you think V1.0 was better than 1.9, take a look at the 2007 pre alpha E3 build, everything was even better. They had to downgrade everything for the first release beacuse the PS3 and XBOX360 couldn't handle the intense graphics and EA didn't wanna make Criterion's budget bigger
1.0 was definitely better than 1.9 to a T. I like the DLC, but not to a full extent. What I love about 1.0 is the car sounds, crashes, Sponsor Cars, and the list goes on.

1.0 has better sound effects, better crashes (including the balck and white effect), and in my opinion some better textures, like the billboard ones

To add to sounds, I prefer the old 616 sound, not the new high pitched sound, the old one sounds beefier and more aggressive.

1.0 sucks graphically compared to 1.9 but it had the option for sponsor codes which was available until the 1.6 was released thats the big flaw of 1.9

The graphics itself didn`t change at all, only the contrast and effects differ slightly.
I actually prefer the 1.0 look.
