Mixed feelings. The intake manifold is a stressed component when boosted, but in the grand scheme of things, it won't be facing 200psi+ ever. After the initial billet design, they could just buy a mold and make cast aluminum versions. The design looks easy enough to cast, then rubber gasket to seal the two halfs.
Very interesting, I was curious if coating the aluminum manifold and aluminum intake pipes with some kind of thermally insulating barrier might result in cooler intake charge temps?
This will be great for 1500HP+ applications, but very few people will be running that. I’d still buy one for my street car. Along with the billet valve covers. That way the whole engine bay shiny 😮💨😂
