Sometimes it's just fun to watch people experience a game you like, since it's pretty difficult to re-experience it for the first time on your own :) For me it's nice to have a game to watch that doesn't require my full attention so I can enjoy the video and not miss major plot aspects. One day I will have the time to do nothing but watch and can hit up some of the longer games, but for now this one is pretty and fairly relaxing despite the random critters :)
I am not sure what it is that makes it fun to watch. Maybe just because it's chill, as others have said. Sometimes life is dramatic or emotional enough, and it's nice to get a break from it. Even in entertainment, because it can give unwanted memories.
The cloth is actually easy to find, you just needed to be more careful when looking for it. It feels like you are enjoying this game more than subnautica! Both are great games, based on exploration.
Enjoying both in different ways! Subnautica was a lot more open with its more complex mechanics, but Dredge is quite chill (oddly enough) I know I could be doing a bit more intensive exploration to look for materials, but with Let's Plays I always try to keep a bit more focus on the "main path" cause I worry people might find the rest boring or slow lol but I'm near the end now, so I'll be doing some completioning before finishing the game for sure
Yeah I could have done a bit more farming for materials to upgrade, but I worry people might find that boring so been trying to get by mostly with whatever I found on my way through the story
If you are interested 'basin' in stellar basin is pronounced baysin not bahsin :) I haven't finished watching so maybe you notice but either way, loving this playthrough so far!
Heya, Lukael! Great playthrough so far. I wanted to mention that the upgrades to the hull and stuff are not really designed to be done while questing/exploring. Some dedicated resource collecting will be required if you want to get further into the upgrade tree before the game is over (it's not *that* long), it also incentivizes you to be a successful fisherman to get lots of money. I got my hull to the last level before even finishing Ingfell (Because the upgrades are usually my favorite part of any game, yours seems to be the story which I am enjoying very much seeing you play through).

Honestly if I was just playing this on my own, I would have probably filled out most of the encyclopedia before I'd even found the first relic ahahah but because I'm doing a Let's Play, I try to be a bit more focused on story and main quests and just kinda taking in whatever comes along my way.
