- 300g Pistachio Past
1/2 Cup Tahini
200g Kataifi ( you can use Phyllo pastry instead and cut it thin into noodles)
2 Tbsp Butter
250g Milk Chocolate
30g White Chocolate
Add a little bit vegetable oil to chocolate to help it melt smoothly
Just made it. Imo it didn't need sugar. The sweetness from the milk chocolate provides a great contrast. Thinking about making it again with a layer of fig jam. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Those chocolate bars looks so good. What is tahini and kataifi if you don’t mind me asking?.
You should make it, it's delicious! Tahini is a sesame paste that you can either buy or make by yourself by processing sesame seeds in a blender. Kataifi is a pastry dough made of shredded phyllo.

No. I didn’t. Once I just tried adding sweetened condensed milk. It makes the past so thick.. not easy to work with. But I’ve never tried it with any other sweetener. Without sweeteners it is still so tasty.
Yeah I also was struggling with that.
I tried it by caramelising sugar in the pan, then adding the shelled pistachios and blending it, then adding melted white chocolate. It was nice but it needs oil the more white chocolate you put into it.
But tbh I agree, it doesn't necessarily need sweetener 😊

Are the pistache nuts with out salt or with salt
Without salt is the best choice. Otherwise the result colour won’t be green. Make sure do not wash or soak pistachios. Use straight raw pistachios. By the way, Thank you for your comment.❤️

Where do I get the string cheese or the string stuff the filling
What country are you from? I bought it here from a Middle Eastern store. It’s not cheese, it’s a pastry called Kataifi. If you can’t find it, you can always try phyllo pastry instead. I have not tried this recipe with phyllo yet. Good luck to you and thanks for the question.

It’s not cheese string it’s called knafe or shredded phyllo dough and you can find it at any Middle Eastern store
