    Hi! Is this crispy dough? I would like to use it to make a pistachio cream with crispy dough for a chocolate filling.

      It is just the dough. You have to cut it in smaller pieces and roast it in butter until golden brown ;)

      @@petraebinger4313 Thank you! :) I want to make a pistachio cream dubai chocolate and the videos show me to fry the dough in butter and stir it into the pistachio cream, then the filling will be crispy. I am very interested, I will definitely try it. You can't buy this kind of pasta in my town, that's why I was looking for a recipe video for it.

    You can do this way at home but kadayif noddles won't be tiny enough. My mother, who was a master in frying Kadayif noddles always tell us KAdayif can not be made with all purpose flour. It needs to be made with special purpose flour from wheats grown in Afyon and Konya. When they run bussiness Kadayif flour cost more than double of all purpose flour they use for baking boreks and breads.

      Ya little time consuming,but you can make once,store in freezer for a year.

    А якщо прокладати стежки тіста від краю сковороди до краю все одно тісто катаіфі вийде,чи ні? І більше кількість.

    If I have a corn allergy is there a substitue I can use for the cornstarch in the recipe? Rice flour maybe? Love the idea of being able to make this at home.

      I used cornstarch powder,you can try with cornstarch powder.
      Rice flour won't work,dough will become dry.

      @@SevenSpoons-Cooking What you call corn flour is really cornstarch, right? That seems to be in every one of these recipes. If you don't think the rice flour would work is there any other substitute for the cornstarch you can think of?

      Cornstarch powder important in this recipe..
      I haven't tried with any other ingredients.i used to make with these two ingredients.

    I know this is 3 years old but could someone tell me what is proper corn flour or corn starch. I’ve been told either or will work however they have very=y different properties thanks so much,,

      Cornflour is the same as cornstarch 😊 you can find it normally in the baking aisles in supermarket shops

      @@angelgirlg1978 No they are not interchangeable. Corn flour is from the entire corn kernel, it has fat, fiber and a bit of starch. Corn starch is just that. Just the starch. Both can ruin a recipe if used when it calls for the other. I am a pastry chef retired bakery owner. We touched on it briefly years ago in college. I always remembered that even tho I really never had a use for either one. I do want to thank you for responding tho. Kindest regards…😉

      @@ProuderlibI made this with corn flour, and yes, it’s definitely different than what we see in the video. When blended, the consistency is thicker. I guess the correct one to use is corn starch, not corn flour. Hope this helps. 😊

      @@my1nonlee Thank you so much for responding. I did figure it out after a few trials and errors. Since then I’ve made a ton of Kataifi dough and freeze it. It was your vid that inspired me to make my own. 😉

      @@Prouderlibin some countries cornflour is cornstarch. However growing up cornflour is what we used to make corn dogs and cornstarch is what we used to make sauces thick 😅

      Check correct measurements of flour & water .
      Is it sticky after making?
      Let it cook,will separate from pan own.
