i've been following your channel off and on for a while and find it very entertaining. I don't know your life stories but find much mystifying. You are obviously successful and very intelligent and don't need to create content for the money. I'm just baffled by some of your choices and actions. I make a point of not doing things that I know will cause me pain and aggravation. You seem to enjoy it. To each their own, I enjoy watching your adventures.
The RV purchasing dymanic has reversed the last 10 -20 years. In the past, you bought a new RV because you didn't want to deal with problems and repairs. NOW, you buy a barely used RV because the chances that they got issues resolved under warranty. I bought a 2020 FR MIcrolite 25fks 12/2021, which I have been very lucky to have had almost no problems with. It was made before Covid, and the couple that had it only used it 5-6 times. They didn't have any problems. Everything works great so far. Enjoying your videos. Your attitude is pretty amazing. I would have gone postal on the dealer and Jayco by now.
I put a 10.8 cubic inch 12-volt ever chill refrigerator in my travel trailer. Over a year ago and I couldn't be happier. The trailer is at my house. I have a long driveway so I can keep it on the side of the driveway. I just leave it plugged in all the time it works great. I figure it's better than turning it off then turning it on whenever I need it. I just leave it on and keep some items in there like bottled water and things like that so that there's something in there for it to chill. Super happy with it. I used bigger wire when I hooked it up also. some people just take out the propane refrigerator and stick the 12 volt in there and use the little wires that were there for the propane refrigerator, and that's not the way to go👍🏻🇺🇲
Just found your channel and just love it. Me and my wife own a commercial and residential cleaning company. One of my clients is a top salesman for lazy days here in Fl. So I asked him about these rv's because we want one. He told me the best I can do is point you towards the ones with the least problems but you will have problems. It's just the nature of this beast. Think of the stress these things have to endure on these roads its a lot. That refrigerator issue and shower issue shouldn't be. You guys are saints boy I would be really upset.
Ive found that the rv refrigerator comes in slowly when it hasn't been used in awhile. I always plug mine in a couple of days before a trip. Mine seems to be working better now with regular use as it sat for years before I got it. Nice to see you guys making travel videos again. Give the fridge some time. just chill and it will.
I just got the black tank extension valve myself because I had the same issues. First time out, black or grey wouldn’t dump at all. Took to dealer, (can’t find anything wrong). Next trip, valves closed, sewage water poured out with valve closed, (ugh). Back to dealer, (can’t find anything), lol again. 3rd time out, all dumped ok, but even grey tank empty, gauge reads 2/3, lol again. I’m afraid I bought myself a can of worms, and mine isn’t that bad. Oh, I immediately changed the dollar store fart fan, to a nice one.
While I've never heard of a "never chill," in my travel trailer, I have a Dometic fridge. It takes a very long time to cool off (like damn near 24 hours), but once it does, it stays cold until I turn off the power and propane.
We have a 2022 Rockwood 2806. Has same floor plan as your Jayco. We lived in it for 6 mos while our house was getting built. It has a 12v Magic Chef. So far no issues. Been a very good trailer so far.
Most of those fridges have a temperature adjustment inside in the back on the silver fins that slides up and down to adjust the temp. It has a wire hooked to it. At least the last fridge I had like that. Get thermo for the inside of your haven’t already so you can monitor the temp. Also, I learned for every minute you have the door open takes it takes about 40 minutes to recover the cold. So with that said, kinda know what you want before opening the door.
Hey guys, just watched your new vid, you guys have the worst luck! Anyway I have a new then 2022 Honda nc750x dct bike and love it. The fake gas tank(frunk) holding my helmet is awesome. I love the dct after being on manual bikes for 40+ years. I get like 75mpg and its very quick when needed. I almost got a African Twin but wanted mpg, a lil smaller and the frunk sold me. African twin is a great bike. The engine in a nc750x is half a Honda Fit car engine btw, crazy I know. Keep up the videos, the ups and downs, like the deck boards wow! Be safe! Champaign IL
You definitely aren’t alone in rv issues. We all have them. It definitely does suck considering the prices being charged and the time it takes to be repaired under warranty sucks. Your warranty period can be used up while sitting at a dealer. Our sewer pipe has the same issue as you talked about and we did buy a valve extension that you mentioned to give us a backup close position. The 12v refrigerator issue we haven’t experienced. This is our 3rd rv with 12v refrigerator and we have been very fortunate. I wouldn’t want anything else. I guess it is just pot luck on everything whether it works or not. I do like that hitch you have. It will be interesting watching to see how you feel about it in time.
Really enjoyed the video- some good info. I think the refrigerator would be one of the top things I would want reliable. We have a 3 yo Forest River Ozark that has been plagued with so many issues (big and small), along with poor service (Camping World), that I swore I'd never buy another Forest River. But... I tend to think that all manufacturers within a given price range have similar quality. A shame for how much they cost.
I've got a 2011KZ rv everything original except for solar and everything stil works great 👍 and I live in it 4 mths a year and travel 8000km a year guess I'm blessed and ps good year wranglers come in many variations, I love mine ❤
Ive thought about camping for 20 years. Glad I never did. Our best was a small new construction cottage in Kill Devil Hills NC. Best 12 years spending weekends there.
Avon...here! No need 2 go anywhere else!! Fished this am, pool this Athlon , T-bones on grill for din din. Ya wanna go hot tub & watch the sunset? Why on earth would U do this stuff?
You guys have such bad luck with RV's...but you hang in there ,and glad you do for our entertainment...I think your refrigerator was made by the Willit family....Must be their deluxe model, "The Willit ever chill"
Try to load the fridge with cold food to give it a running start. Pun intended. Many need a day to cool down. My new home fridge was not working properly but the freezer was good. Technician found a door that allows air to circulate between the freezer and the fridge. The door was stuck. He replaced the door and a related part. That seems yo have fixed it. You did an awesome job of taking your fridge apart. Looks like you have a similar door/vent between the two sections. It can take hours or a day to see if adjustments are working. Be Well.
I know what you guys have been through historically and this is the funniest damn video that you've ever published! I have not left so hard in quite some time
We have had great luck with norcold electric/propane units. We have had one in our horse trailer front 2011 ans it still works great and have had many of them in different toy haulers. You have to be level or they don't work well.
I'm a certified rv tech and I work for a Jayco dealer. I know all about your white hawk and all manufacturers in Rvs are junk OK Your going to have to fixed your own rv problems. Been a tech for 14 years now So I truly know how they are build Been to factory and watch build progress during business hours Then can build one rv per hour Travel trailers ,fith wheels , and motor homes
They keep making those products that are crap because people continue to buy campers for a fortune makes me want to build my own,, But love your videos thanks for sharing..😀
We had four EverChill refrigerators that after 4 to 6 weeks. Would do the same thing your refrigerator is doing. They flew a tech to arizona to try and fix. He could not figure out what was happening. They refunded our money. We went to Best Buy and purchased an Insignia residential style refrigerator. While replacing the EverChill, I figured out what was going on. They are not frost free. The inside coil was freezing up. The freezer was fine. The refrigerator section was in the 50° range. We run our motorhome with solar panels and 48 volt batteries. The Insignia refrigerator runs at about 80 watts normally. The defrost cycle is about 140 watts. If you check out our channel, I have an updated video about the refrigerator. Hope some day we can meet around a campfire.
I’m confused because my new jayco has a breaker for the refrigerator. Are you sure yours doesn’t? My 12 volt refrigerator is digitally controlled and yiu can increase/decrease the temperature independently between the freezer and refrigerator. After so much bad experience with new RV’s, why would you buy another? Is it to (BE IRRITATED), LOL?
Well I was driving from Phoenix Az trying to get to Roswell NM and welp I have a Class A and just got it back from the shop after month and well I heard a loud explosion and blew my first tire. Stuck 53 miles outta Flagstaff waiting till morning because they don't have my tire size. It's ok because i have snacks lots of snacks 😂😂😂
We had the same issues with the Furrion 12v compressor fridge that came in our 2021 White Hawk. After two years it was replaced with the Dometic DMC-4101 which, so far, we've been happy with. At least for the past year, it's been far better than the Furrion crap.

As the owners of a 2023 rv with these exact appliances We have had zero issues with any of it same thing with our 2021 personal unit we have had zero issues seems like everything you guys by has issues with
Mike-n-Ang, A couple comments... I'm surprised you took such a long trip for a shake down run. Probably something 20-30 miles away may have been more convenient in the event of problems - and there will be problems with a new camper (fridge). Also on your truck, I never saw your mirror swung up. Do you not have the RAM trailer package that has swing up mirrors for better rear viewing?
Some company needs to challenge Lippert. Since they've been controlling everything, well... everything has gone to hell!!! New travel trailers and 5th wheels are pretty much all junk. Don't waste your money.
I’m just wondering why nothing ever works for you guys? After watching for sometime it may just be your negative energy….. I just drove a 2008 Monaco 1800 miles 3 months everything worked the whole way. (Trust me we were knocking on wood). Everything you do just fails or is someone else’s problem they caused you…..😮. Should have camped a few times close to home, good luck
Weight distribution hitches will bend trailer tongues, as it puts so much pressure towards the back of the tongue. Air bags are a better option
Air bags are OK for truck but don't help with trailer sway

Welcome to Wisconsin.
R V ... Runined Vacation. We've had 2 motorhomes and 1 camp trailer .
Never agine
There's a RV training course at National RV Training Academy in Texas you might look into.
I wonder if I'll ever see a video where you DON'T have any problems! lol
We hope not!
Just curious..what line of work are y'all in?
We repair RVs full time for no money! That and a little stock trading on the side.
Nooooo!!! Brings back bad memories from when we had an RV. Frig. Shower leak. Been there.
Is there ANY RV that DOESN'T have a leaky shower?
Should have bought a Brinkley.
Is that a shower at the foot of the bed!?!😛.. Cheers, Bernie
Ive been out of touch a bit. What happened to the motorhome?
As the owners of a 2023 rv with these exact appliances

Never had an issue with Dometic.
My 12 volt Norcold has worked flawlessly for the past three years. Just saying…
A little CAULK will fix it up
Did you get kicked out of Denton Ferry RV park that's in Arkansas again?
This one didn't even kick us out!
The RV industry is crap. In 85 I bought a 72 Holiday Rambler and toured the country for 3 years. Nothing broke. Just maintenance.
I don't know how you put up with the sound of the V8 roar in the back ground for a 8 hour road trip. That alone would drive me nuts for sure.
All the cool stuff y’all looked at, how the hell did y’all end up with that thing?
You never know what will happen in the future!

Can you not put a small refrigerator from best buy with an inverter or something
We are debating that option.
You guys are funny 😅😂😂😅
