I really enjoyed this lesson. It brought back my vivid memory as a graduate student at U of Alberta back in the early 70's. You're the greatest teacher of English, ever. Sen Keoyote, Bangkok, Thailand.
I do have a very good weekend! Yesterday I had a gathering with my classmates from elementary school. We ate goulash and spoke a lot about ourselves, our life and so on. In my twenties I didn't have the opporetunity to meet with them and as you know I had stayed in the US for nine years. It was the first time I saw a lot of them. Sometimes I ran across with some of my classmates but you know, everyone has something to do and we didn't have a good chat for years.
I enjoyed this lesson and learned about many terms and words in context with farming.I have seen silos in backgrounds in many of yours videos. I liked the phrase "good fences make good neighbors ".
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian There is a saying in my country India that it is better to have a bad relative than a bad neighbor. It's because an annoying neighbor is always with you 24x7 .
Hi, Bob! I liked your lesson a lot) This topic is dear to me because now I live in the country side. Once I was a city mouse) but then I married a man who was born in a village. We went there to work at a country school and we've been living here for nearly thirty years now)
I think the countryside is the best place to live, but I must admit, I do miss getting pizza delivered and being able to walk everywhere. When I lived in the city I could do all that. Now I have to drive everywhere! I'm sure you're experiencing the same! 🚜
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Yes, and I totally agree with you as to being tied to your country house when you have animals) We have two cows, some chickens, three dogs and seven cats) They all need to be fed and cared about. That's the only negative point in the countryside life)
Hello there. This video was like falling from the heavens** I just moved in a housefarm that belongs to my grandparents. And I was wandering how to say those vocabulary words thanks a lot. Have a good day

Hi Bob thank for sharing this video. I am an agronomist from Brazil and it is very nice learning and improving my ag vocabulary. Soybean is very important here, so if you could talk more about growing soy should be very nice.
I am imagining if I can live in the farm a few months, I can help people and want to enjoy the farming life there! Farmer r professional, technical, skillful...
Dear Teacher Bob your´s classes are full of dedication and love, I hope you will always be motivated to teach english.. thank you so much!! Kind regards. María
Hi Sir, Thank you for the wonderful lesson. As always, it improved my vocabulary. By the way, I grew up in farms too. I am proud to say my father is a farmer. We usually grow rice, corn, groundnuts and several vegetables. I believe farming is ever green and all the generations need it.
Hello Bob! I learn English mostly by watching your videos. You do great job although you are very busy person. I have one question. Why don’t you have beehives? You have so many flowers and big areas of land. You should have bees. They would pollinate your flowers. And you would have honey.
Just found your channel and subscribed immediately! Such vocab lessons are fantastic and what advanced learners need! I just advise that you sometimes keep it shorter, maybe 20 mins

I'm so sad. I missed the live class because i was working. That topic is very interesting for me, i'm agriculture engineer, and i've read a lot of agriculture documents. I was wondering if you could tell me about labour market of agriculture in Canada. Thanks a lot dear Bob.
Hi, Bob! How’s everything? I wanted to know if it was better to use perfect present tense at 19:00 when Aronne had asked the question about your living on a farm? It seems to me that the question should have been asked this way: “Have you always lived on a farm?” or it doesn’t matter in this case? Thanks a lot for your lessons!
I do thank you for the lesson. It is interesting. Do you raise animals in your property? Is it profitable to keep animals for food and meat? Another thing( please don't get offended )Could you please make a video about political or military vocabulary or a lesson about human rights ? Thanks a lot!

Hi, Bob! I'd like to find out if the Canadian farmers practice such a thing like inviting foreigners to live on a farm as workers for some short period for picking crop or some others non-skilled works. In return farmers provide them a room, food and communication in English. What about you? Would you like to have some of your followers on your farm? 🙂
Wow, Bob, my two cows look just the same as cows on a dairy farm on your picture) I think this breed is popular in many countries. Do you know how they are called?
My parents lost their farms in Syria because of war and fled to Australia .. Now the farms are .... because nobody irrigates them . What adjective can I use in the space ?
